LEGO needs a museum! Here are the things to fill that museum. All items will be seperated by eras. (Such as "The Golden Years: 1900's- 1930's") (Note: all comments on these sets are works of fiction!)

1. 7597: Western Train Chase
THE EARLY YEARS
1875: This is the earliest LEGO locomotive ever made. Built in 1875, this engine was built for the Great Western Railway Company. Still in operating condtion, this engine has been used in many LEGO films such as "The Good, the Brick, and the Ugly", and "The 50 Year Brick."

2. 10015: Green Passenger Wagon
THE EARLY YEARS
1880: This is the earliest surviving railroad passenger coach in it's orginal condtion. Built by the Great Western Railway Company in 1880, this coach was used in the movie "The Good, the Brick, and the Ugly."

3. 10014: Caboose
THE EARLY YEARS
1880: This caboose was also built for the Great Western Railway Company in the same year as the coach. (See above)

4. 3225: Classic Train
THE GOLDEN YEARS
1913: This engine and assorted cars were bought to be used on the Great Western Railway. By the time the items were delivered in 1914, the railway was bought by Union Pacific. The engine also had 2 other red coaches, but these were destroyed in an accident in 1923.

5. 7819: Postal Container Wagon
THE GOLDEN YEARS
1921: This coach was part of a 6 car train, "The Fort Legorado" for the Union Pacific, which ran from 1921 to 1938. This car was then sent to the private rail group, Lego Rail Transport Society. (L.R.T.S.)

6. 10194: Emerald Night
THE GOLDEN YEARS
1924: This A1 engine was built to haul the Emerald Express on the London & North Eastern Railway. (LNER) It was to be coverted to A3 status in 1950, but by then, the engine was no longer cost effective. Sent to the scrap yard in 1952, the engine was saved from this fate by the Lego Rail Transport Society. (LRTS) Currentley on loan from the LRTS.

7. 10020: Santa Fe Super Chief
THE END OF STEAM
1938: This engine was used on Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe, "Super Chief" from 1938 - 1971. It was sold, along with the coaches, to the museum in 1975.

8. 10025: Santa Fe Cars - Set I

1939: These cars were bought along with their engine in 1975.

10. 4551: Crocodile Locomotive
THE END OF STEAM
1941: This engine was built by Austrian Federal Railways. The locomotive was latter bought by the LRTS. It is currentley on loan to this museum.

11. 4563: Load and Haul Railroad
THE END OF STEAM
1958: (Engine only) This locomotive was built as a switcher for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincey Railroad. This engine was used until 1970, when the railway was merged by the Great Northern Railway into Burlington Northern. The engine was then given to the museum for free in 1971.

12. 4533: Train Track Snow Remover
THE MERGER YEARS
1964: This expermiental engine was used to clear tracks on the Northern Pacific railway. It was never used due to mechanical trouble. The railway finally gave up in late 1965, and the engine was sold to this museum in early 1966.

13. 10133: Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Locomotive
THE MERGER YEARS
1973: This engine was built for St. Louis - San Fransico (FRISCO) railway. When the railway was merged with Burlington Northern, (and latter Santa Fe to make Burlington Northern Santa Fe) the engine was repainted. Sold in 2000 to LRTS, and then given to this museum.

14. 4560: Railway Express
THE MERGER YEARS
1989: This locomotive /train was built by the General Motors Diesel for British Railways. The engines were delivered on time, but all trains but 1 were sent back for problems with their special axles. These engines were lost when the boat they were on sank. The last of it's kind, British Railways gave up and sent this engine to this museum.

15. 10001: Metroliner
THE NEW BEGINNING
1994: This tiliting train was built for expiremental purposes. It was a too advanced idea for the technology and was sent the museum in 2000.
