There is nothing new under the Castle Sun!
We got all new Castle sets in 2010. But are they all new? Or have they been "recycled"?

1. 7946: King's Castle
Let's start with the largest set in the new Castles. It's a castle with a three storey gatehouse, two towers in the back and a drawbridge. (continued below)

2. 6080: King's Castle
... Well the set above does looks like an updated King's Castle from 1984, down to the crossed halberds above the gate. Even the name is the same!

3. 7947: Prison Tower Rescue

... Of course. There's been a large number of chariots with bars, and prisoner wagons, but this one from 1990 has both bars and prisoners.

A stable would have been nice. I mean, come on! Castle was where the horse piece originated over 25 years ago, yet we have not had a stable set?

A baker would also be interesting. Yes, I know we had a bakery with Medieval Market Village, but it'd also be nice for a small standalone bakery.

And since we have the jester, why not a set with a barrel/basket of fruits and a vendor? It could be the "bobbing for apples" game at the fair or something. Yes I know it is part of the Medieval Market Village, but it'd be nice as a smaller set.
