BrickList: TECHNIC Based Action Figures Accessories and Projectiles

TECHNIC Based Action Figures Accessories and Projectiles

To Celebrate the 12th year of TECHNIC Based Action Figures, I'll be doing my own classification of the sets instead of the official sources, making it easier to analyze their history through the years.

Since 1998, the figures have shown different accessories which caracterized the product lines. From projectiles to masks, this list groups the sets that served as additional accessories.

To find more info about the TECHNIC Based Action Figures' history through the years, I reccomend you to check this list:

2. 8515: RoboRider Wheels

The Roboriders line released in 2000 came up with a different projectile: wheels. The Roboriders sets could throw their own frontal wheels.
Each wheel has a different figure printed in, and some wheels even glow in the dark (as the ones released with 8512 Onyx). Unlike the discs, the wheels have a Technic pin hole on its center, making it more usable than discs.

The set includes 4 random wheels

11. 8934: Squid Ammo

The Barraki line released in the first semester of 2007 included with each six sets the unfamous "Squid launcher". Both Squid projectile and its launcher are made of rubber, what makes it hard to launch, but when launched correctly the squid can go to a reasonable distance. The squids can be trans-light blue, trans-orange or trans-yellow colored.

The set includes 7 random Squids.
After this, no more supplementary sets (accessories or projectiles) have been released with the TECHNIC Based Action Figures.
