Sets of 2010 that are horribly expensive and should really be cheaper.

1. 4738: Hagrid's Hut
Costs £39.99 when the 2001 cost £24.99 and the 2004 one cost £19.99. The us price is $39.99 as well as this set despite a still good'ish piece count should really be no more than £34.99.

2. 2824: City Advent Calendar
Back in 2005 the first city advent calender cost only £12.99. It then went up a little bit to £14.99 in 2007 which is still quite a reasonable price. Then it went up to £19.99 in 2009 which is quite expensive but now the 2010 one is very bad value at £24.99. The price I think has gone too far.

3. 4840: The Burrow
The set cost's £59.99 which is quite expensive as it's $59.99 in the us. This set should really cost £49.99

4. 4841: Hogwarts Express
In 2001 the first express cost only £39.99. Then a slightly smaller one in 2004 cost £34.99. Then six years later this version cost's twice as much as £79.99 with a slightly longer train, weasley car and no station. The price is really expensive and really should only cost £59.99.

5. 5868: Ferocious Creatures
A very small looking set for £30. for $30 the set should rightfully cost £20-£25 with only licensed sets being exact $-£. Despite a still high piece count the set is £5 overpriced i would say.

6. 7597: Western Train Chase
The set only has 584 pieces and is very small too for £79.99. This set should really cost £59.99.

7. 7596: Trash Compactor Escape
Although medium sized for £50 the piece count is very low at only 370 pieces for a £50 set. I think the price could be lowered by £5-£10 pounds.

8. 7599: Garbage Truck Getaway
A set that doesn't quite have many pieces for £50 but is even smaller in size. This set really should be £29.99-£39.99 and I think it is terrible value really.

9. 7949: Prison Carriage Rescue
A great set but £10 for only 50 pieces three figures and a set that isn't part of star wars but yet is smaller than the battle packs this has to be the worst value small set ever.

10. 7952: Kingdoms Advent Calendar
A surprisingly stunning calender but £24.99 is just not tollerable due to similar reasons of the city one. the pirates one only cost £15.99 last year and this one is £9 more.

11. 8076: Deep Sea Striker
Despite it's high piece count for £20.00 the set and the box is tiny and with it being $19.99 I think this set should really only cost £14..99-£17.99.

A great set but $39.99=£39.99 for a store exclusive is not really satisfying and for a price it should be £29.99-£34.99.

13. 8086: Droid Tri-Fighter
In 2005 the first version cost £9.99. Five years later although the set is bigger and has much more pieces [268] the price has soared up to £25 and with it's us price being $25 the price should rightfully be £20.

14. 8091: Republic Swamp Speeder
The set for £30 is tiny and is perhaps the worst value star wars set yet. The us price is $30 too and even that one is overpriced. This set should really be $24.99 and £19.99.

15. 8092: Luke's Landspeeder
The 2004 version cost £29.99 and this one is £5 less but only comes with the landspeeder. Although the figures are quite spectacular the price is very steep. It costs £24.99 for 163 pieces which build a landspeeder and 6 figures is even to much at £19.99. I think a price that would suite this set is £17.99.

16. 8093: Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter
Although better value than the first two sets this year the set is £5 more than the very similar 2008 Anakins jedi starfighter which still wasn't great value for it's price tag.

17. 8096: Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle
Smaller than the republic attack shuttle and arc-170 but yet cost's £10 more. The boxes set is very small as well. It may include 592 pieces but the set is tiny. The price of this set should not exceed £49.99.

18. 8097: Slave I
This set has had a lot of versions and price changes. The 2002 one cost £44.99 and the 2006 one costing only £39.99. But this new one has doubled right up to £79.99. with only 573 pieces,4 figures is the worst value set this year probably and is £10 more than it should cost. OK star wars is never cheap but this set I think has gone too far and a fair price tag is £69.99.

19. 8128: Cad Bane's Speeder
Small in size and pieces but completly overpriced. This 318 piece set cost's a giant £44.99. Although the figures are great the set is tiny and should really only be $39.99 £34.99.

20. 10211: Grand Emporium
In 2007 the first cafe corner came out this only cost £89.99. Then in 2008 a new set for the range came out the green grocer. Although it cost £10 more it was certainly worth it's value as this model had interior in side. The firebrigade was the same. Then the best one came out in 2010. the grand emporium but had fewer pieces than both and yet cost 340 more =£139.99 which although is great is very high for it's size.

21. 10212: Imperial Shuttle
A spectacular model but for $260 a £239.99 price tag is still not good enough. Although the set is very big The price is probably £40 too high. The death star is only £35 more.

22. 10215: Obi-Wan’s Jedi Starfighter
This set's price makes the imperial shuttle look like it's half price nearly. The us price cost's a very expensive $100 and the uk get if for a even worse £95. For a set with not many key parts,features and not figures this set is very overpriced and should only cost $80 and £60. certainly not a wise buy.
