1. 6081: King's Mountain Fortress
One of the earliest examples of the ramped base plate with a modest Lion Knights Castle on the hillside.

2. 6276: Eldorado Fortress
The Imperials perhaps put the ramped building site to the best use with their several forts built on them. This was the first and is a really well designed set. Surrounded by water with the gray/dark gray stones theme.

3. 6988: Alpha Centauri Outpost
Blacktron base combined with a space landing pad and uses the black/grey crater paint scheme.

4. 6273: Rock Island Refuge
One of the earliest uses of the ramped baseplate, a really well crafted Pirates hideout. Green and gray island color scheme complete with water around the base.

5. 6086: Black Knight's Castle
Excellent castle with lots of nice features using the green/stony paint scheme.

6. 6277: Imperial Trading Post
Another wonderful use of the ramp plate, the Imperial Trading Post. Uses gray/dark gray stones with blue water at the base. If only they would make more sets like this one

7. 6082: Fire Breathing Fortress
This castle makes use of the raised base plate to house the mighty dragon. Yet another new color scheme for this iteration of the ramp plate now with black and gray rocks on a green background. Perhaps due to charring from the fire breathing dragon.

8. 6983: Ice Station Odyssey
Perhaps the most dramatic use of the ramped base plate is the Ice Station Odyssey. Blue covered in white Icicles, this is a very unique set.

9. 6959: Lunar Launch Site
A return to the classic crater pattern is the Lunar Launch Site. This set uses the center pit to house a large rocket.

10. 6991: Monorail Transport Base
Final set to utilize the ramped baseplate was also the final monorail set. Serves as a platform for the Unitron Monorail station, again classic space crater design.
