BrickList: Best Technic Titan Figure Sets Part 1

Best Technic Titan Figure Sets Part 1

This list includes all my long-time favorites Technic Big Figures, from 2000 to now, be them Throwbots/Slizers, Roboriders, Bionicle, Star Wars or Hero Factory.

The 1st part of the list consists in the time of 2000-2003, with characteristics such as the high presence of Technic parts to execute functions.

1. 8558: Cahdok and Gahdok

Focusing the head attack of the Bohrok, but with an even bigger neck, head and actual jaws, both Cahdok and Gahdok can give powerful attacks at the enemy. Similar to Muaka & Kane-Ra, if one lose a part (in this case a "device"), it can't operate. One of the most well-built, well done and well thought sets ever.

2. 8538: Muaka & Kane-ra

Two Creatures, one objective: remove the opponents' infected mask. To do that, Muaka or Kane-Ra have to use its own jaws. This is both a well-built, competitive and very functional set that couldn't be out of this list.

3. 8002: Destroyer Droid

One of the most interesting Star Wars' droids is the Destroyer Droid. And when it comes to Lego TECHNIC, it just becomes more interesting. Well-built and with particular turn into sphere function, this set made up to this list.

4. 8012: Super Battle Droid

Maybe not as functional as the 8001, but with even more articulation as any of this years' SW figures. This figure granted the basic details of a Super Battle Droid unit in a very different way.

8. 8556: Boxor Vehicle

Whilst the Exo-Toa serves as armor to Toa, the Tohunga can still be safe while battling the Bohrok hordes. Armed with horizontal punching movement, the Boxor is one of the most interesting sets made with only 157 pieces...

9. 8595: Takua and Pewku

This set was one of the few of its time to include functional creatures, such as Pewku. While the wheels are moved forward, this Ussal's paws moves silmutaneosly and coordinatedly.
The villager Takua has also functional movements.

10. 8523: Blaster

The first Titan set, this offers more than common Throwbots. Its legs are just the time of one single Throwbot figure. With one arm, it can throw two discs. Without to mention its impressive design.

11. 8520: Millennium Slizer

This set is very interesting, by the fact both its proposed models are cool. As a small regular Throwbot, Millennium is accompanied by a decent motorcycle that gives advantage in playability. The motorcycles' pieces are also used to re-create a more titanic form to the set, by using even its wheels as a different sort of feet.

12. 8008: Stormtrooper

Based around the Stormtroopers of the Original SW saga, this one has few articulation limits just like its predercessors. However, this has a playability advantage when it comes with the 8007 set (C-3PO) and make it into pieces, literally. Those sets together are very worthy, but alone they wouldn't make it into this list.
