BrickList: The Top 5 Sets of 2006
1. 7783: The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion
The best batman set. It's large, has two great minifigures (Penguin and Mr. Freeze), and a high playability level. The pinnacle of the Batman theme.

4. 10174: Imperial AT-ST
Of course, I'd have to include a UCS set in the top five. This behemoth on two legs is a prize to display.
