These are all the sets needed to make the Grand Army of the Republic for The Clone Wars. Many people question how many of each set they should have to feel like it's just the right amount and that's what I plan to set clear. Below are the minifigs you'd get if you owned the exact amount of every set listed here that fight for the Republic.

1. 7669: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter
This set is necessary for the Grand Army of the Republic. It obviously helps in space battles since it has Anakin's Jedi Starfighter. This set includes Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), and R2-D2 minifigs. That's about all, so only one of these is needed since there's only one of Anakin's Jedi Starfighter.

2. 7674: V-19 Torrent
This set will help add strength in space battles, so it's also necessary. It includes a Clone Pilot (Clone Wars) minfig. There are so many of these in The Clone Wars that it'd be impossible to own as many as the Republic does. So a good amount would be five if you want a medium-sized squadron of these.

3. 7675: AT-TE Walker
Look out Separatists! With the AT-TE there's no way the Republic will loose. Since this adds amazing firepower as well as heavily armed transportation for your troops. This set includes the Ahsoka, Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), Captain Rex, and a Clone Trooper (Clone Wars) minifigs. I won't include the Battle Droid or Rotta since neither are on the Republic's side. There are so many in The Clone Wars, but since these are so expensive I'm going to say that three will do for The Grand Army of the Republic.

4. 7676: Republic Attack Gunship
This is definitely a must-have for anyone building the Grand Army of the Republic. It's highest of all sets. This includes the Commander Cody, Clone Trooper (Clone Wars), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars), and Plo Koon minifigs. Again, I won't add Asajj Ventress as she is a Sith. Since this set is so expensive I'll say that two will make for The Grand Army.

5. 7679: Republic Fighter Tank
This set has got to be one of the coolest tanks I've ever seen. It's great for attack and can take quite a pounding. This set includes Clone Trooper (Clone Wars) and Clone Trooper (Clone Wars with Armor) minifigs. Since these don't appear that often in The Clone Wars two should be good.

6. 7680: The Twilight
This is one of the biggest ships in The Clone Wars. The Twilight may be junky, but it packs a blow with every blast. It will add strength to any space battle. This set includes Ahoska, Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), and R2-D2. Since there's only one of these in The Clone Wars, only one is necessary.

7. 7681: Separatist Spider Droid
I know this set isn't really a Republic set, but it's necessary since Commander Fox is in this set and only this set. This includes Clone Trooper (Clone Wars) and Commander Fox minifigs. Again, I won't include all the droids as they fight for the CIS, not the Republic. For the Republic, this set should only be bought once and for one reason only, Commander Fox (although the Clone Trooper is useful as well, but appears in enough sets).

8. 7748: Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
This set is a must have for any Clone army. This set includes two Clone Jet Trooper (Clone Wars) minifigs. The droids and tank won't be included since they fight for the CIS. Unlike the '7681-1: Separatist Spider Droid' set, this should be bought numerous times even though most of the set is CIS material since Jet Troopers are a big necessity to the Grand Army of the Republic. I'd say four of these will make for a good Jet Trooper squad (giving you eight Jet Troopers).

9. 7751: Ahsoka's Starfighter and Droids
This set surprisingly isn't all that necessary, but is still a good piece to the Republic Army. This set includes Ahsoka and R7-A7 minifigs. This also includes two Buzz Droids and a Vulture Droid, but they won't be included (I think you get why by now). The real reason this set's on here is for Ahsoka's Jedi Starfighter. So only one of these should be bought.

10. 8014: Clone Walker Battle Pack
I shouldn't even have to say why this set is on this BrickList. I mean it's made to build Clone Armies! This set includes Clone Commander, Clone Gunner, and two Clone Trooper (Clone Wars) minifigs. This is very easy to buy as it's only $11.99 so this should be the main way you build your Clone Army. Ten of these will do for now.

11. 8019: Republic Attack Shuttle
This is probably my most favorite Clone Wars set I own. It's great for destroying infantry with all the missiles it has. This set includes Clone Pilot (Clone Wars), Clone Trooper (Clone Wars), and Mace Windu (Clone Wars) minfigs. This is great for destroying droid tanks as well, plus Mace Windu can lead the army. Three of these should do.

12. 8037: Anakin's Y-wing Starfighter
This is a great set for attacking and destroying Separatists' star cruisers. This set includes Ahoska, Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), and R2-D2 minifigs. Even though this is labeled as 'Anakin's Y-wing Starfighter' it really can be used as anyone's. So a good thing to do is to get three of these and put other pilots in the other two.

13. 8039: Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser
This set is necessary for any Clone Army as it transports troops from one planet to another. This set comes with Chancellor Palpatine, Clone Gunner, Clone Pilot (Clone Wars), and two Senate Commando minifigs. The Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser is so big and powerful that it will add amazing strength to space battles and destroy Separatist Star Cruisers in minutes. Three of these will make good for a massive invasion on the Seps.

14. 10195: Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker
What better set than this set to bring in your Clone Troopers? This set is the biggest Clone Wars set so far and includes two Clone Pilot (Clone Wars) and six Clone Trooper (Clone Wars) minifigs. The Republic Dropship and AT-OT are so expensive that it may be hard, but two will make for quick attacks.

15. 30006: Clone Walker
This set would be a great way to build a Clone Army cheap, but I don't know where to find these, so this set isn't a necessity, but is still good if you can find it. This set includes one Clone Trooper (Clone Wars) minifig. The Mini Clone Walker isn't all that strong so a Clone Army without this would still be just as strong. If you can find these just get like five for a Mini Clone Walker squad.

16. 8085: Freeco Speeder
This set really isn't all that necessary to a Clone Army as it only serves purpose on Hoth, although this is a good set if you would have missions there as this set is good for quick transportation. This set includes the Anakin Skywalker (Parka) minifig. Thi-Sen won't be included (you know why). If looking for a squad of these four of these will do.

17. 8088: ARC-170 Starfighter
When it comes to this set the question, 'Should I buy this?' is a no-brainer. This adds great firepower in space battles as well as Kit Fisto. This set includes Captain Jag, Clone Pilot (Open Helmet), Kit Fisto, and R4-P44 minifigs. Five of these will do for a good squad.

18. 8093: Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter
This set is another great set when it comes to space battles. Plo Koon will be able to lead battle in space and on land. This set includes Plo Koon and R7-D4 minifigs. When it comes to how many to buy it's simple. One. That's all you need since there's only one of these in The Clone Wars.

19. 8095: General Grievous' Starfighter
I'm sorry to have to include this set in this BrickList, but this has to include every Jedi in The Clone Wars and Nahdar Vebb is a Jedi. This set includes the Nahdar Vebb minifig. I won't include EV-A4-D or General Grievous (Clone Wars) and you should know why if you've read the rest of this BrickList. Since there's only one Nahdar Vebb in The Clone Wars, only one of these is required.

20. 8098: Clone Turbo Tank
This is another great addition to the Grand Army of the Republic. This set includes Aayla Secura, Ahsoka, Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), Clone Commander, and Clone Trooper (Clone Wars) minifigs. I won't include Cad Bane period. I know you may be wondering how many I'd suggest getting, well to you're relief I'm only going to say one. Why? First off, this is really big and expensive also, this only ever appears once in The Clone Wars. So buy one of these and that's all.

21. 8128: Cad Bane's Speeder
This is another set I regret putting on this BrickList, but it must be done. This includes Senate Commando and Senate Commando Captain minifigs. As for the other figs, I won't include them because you know why. So buy one of these.

22. 7868: Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter
This set is really 50-50 referring to the amount of Republic/CIS stuff is in the set. This set includes Mace Windu (Clone Wars) and R8-B7 minifigs. The CIS Droids won't be included and you know why. Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter will add even more power to space battles. Buying one of these sets is the perfect amount.

23. 7869: Battle for Geonosis
Sadly, here's another set that I wish didn't have to be added. The majority of this set is against the Republic although Rex and Luminara along with the speeder are pretty strong. This set includes Captain Rex and Luminara Unduli minfigs. The Rex fig obviously isn't necessary since he's already listed here, but Luminara doesn't come in any other sets, so that's why this is on. The speeder is another reason. Since there's only one Luminara in The Clone Wars and she's the reason this set is on here, there's only need for one.

24. 7913: Clone Trooper Battle Pack
Just like with the '8014-1: Clone Walker Battle Pack' this will be great for building a good Clone Army. This set includes ARF Trooper, two Bomb Squad Troopers, and Clone Trooper (Clone Wars with Sand Green Markings) minifigs. I'm going to say that ten will make for a great army.

25. 7931: T-6 Jedi Shuttle
This is a big necessity for The Grand Army of the Republic. This set includes Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars), Saesee Tiin, and Shaak Ti minifigs. The T-6 Jedi Shuttle will help in space battles a lot Only one of these is needed as there is only one T-6 Jedi Shuttle and obviously only one of each Jedi is needed.
