Sets in 2012 which in my opinion are really well built and have something very good about them.

1. 4206: Recycling Truck
A lego first, the recycling truck is a set that in my view is a great idea and it's great to see a set thats not a reincarnation of an older model. The recycling boxes and new fork lift make this set a must. It is also good for any lego city too.

2. 4431: Ambulance
A set that has been due for quite a while. It has been six years since the last lego ambulance was made and this model certainly seems a lot better as it's more to scale, appears to have a fairly good piece count and also contains a civillian and several accesseries making it another great addition to the lego city.

3. 4432: Garbage Truck
It was four and a half years since the old orange garbage truck was released and now for 2012, we have a nice new fresh green one. What makes this one better is the appearance is better, it contains two figures and has a secret rubbish flipper at the back of the truck making this set quite a lot more playable than the first one.

4. 4433: Dirt Bike Transporter
Another city set that is a fresh idea, a set that is an off roader which transports dirt bikes. What makes this set make the list is that unlike recent times, it's a set you can use to add on to a city rather than make multiples of emergency resque and police. It also has lots of attention to detail to such as the equipment and bikes.

5. 4434: Dump Truck
It's great to have another medium sized construction truck on the scene in which this one proves it's greatness by it's fresh colour scheme, it's accesseries and also the sturdy look of it and new uniform for the figures.

6. 4435: Car and Caravan
This set appears to be a sequel to the amazing 2009 campver van with what looks to be even more amazing features. The set contains a new roof piece, the car can fit two figures and the caravan is beutifal on the inside and outside with minor details such as a coffee machine and tv showing dirt bikes. The keeping closed mechanism is also much improoves and stays put without the use of a removable part like the 2009 camper.

7. 4439: Heavy-Lift Helicopter
Ok, We may be seeing loads of police sets coming [ perhaps too many] but this set has alot of good features, one of them is the double proppelor blades which I dont think has ever been done on a lego set before it looks to be of a good size too.
If youve had enough of the police force, then one suggestion is to convert it and convert it in to an miltary copter [ good with those duel choppers].

8. 5882: Ambush Attack
Small, cheap and a great way to get a dinosaur and figure if dont want to get the whole dino theme. It's also good for army building too.

9. 5885: Triceratops Trapper
Although rather expensive and does not have many pieces for it's cost contains an amazing triceratops figure who is sturdy and perfectly sized. The vehicle included is also very well designed and is rugged and I also think the cage has been done very well.

10. 5886: T-Rex Hunter
This one contains a very impressive trex which is why this set makes the list.

11. 6858: Catwoman Catcycle City Chase
A really small set and also a great way to bat man and catwoman for a low price and also if you missed the first installment nearly six years ago.

12. 6862: Superman Vs Power Armor Lex
What appears to be the best super hero set of round one. This set is absolutly fantastic and contains the brand new superman, wonderman and lex figures. The robot machine is also very impressive and packed with toughness and also slightly resembles the old exo force battle machines too.

13. 9488: Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack
Another star wars army builder which is great for adding to clone armies and also creating a new droid army too. The designs of all figures is new and nothing we have seen before and the vehicle is also apropiate.

14. 9489: Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack
With the battle of endor hard to find now and the recent ewok attack set released, this is the perfect set to add to the ewok attack and is good and cheap way of getting rebels and snow troopers. This set is another one built for army buildign too.

The cheapest way of getting the galaxy's most iconic droids and is one of the first action scenes in the whole sega's adventures.

16. 9492: TIE Fighter
Ok, weve seen loads of tie fighters since lego star wars began those nearly thirteen years ago but this tie model delivers much more greatness than the others.
Firstly, it contains several new fantastic figures, the model is more realistic to the tie fighters in the movie with bits on the sides of the wings and sturdier looking cockpit.
