LEGO Battles Sets
LEGO Battles is one of Traveller's Tales few games based upon original LEGO themes. Released exclusively for Nintendo DS, LEGO Battles is a real-time strategy game based upon the LEGO Castle, Pirates, and Space lines. Other familiar LEGO lines, including Ninja and Exo-Force, make appearances as well to appeal to LEGO enthusiasts.

1. 7038: Troll Assault Wagon
The Troll Assault Wagon is a mighty siege vehicle used by the Trolls against the Western Kingdom.
The Guardsman is the Close Combat unit of the King's army. The Guardsman has 1 strength, 350 life, 100 bricks, and 2 speed. In King Act 1, the Guardsman attempts to block a Skeleton charge by lowering a guard gate. In King Act 2, the Guardsman brings a bag of gold to buy an alliance with the Dwarves. In King Act 3, the Guardsman is among the Western Kingdom army. In King Final, numerous Guardsmen populate the castle hall.
The Giant Troll is a Special unit of the Wizard's army. The Giant Troll has 3 strength, 550 life, 500 bricks, and 3 speed. In Wizard Act 2, Troll Giants participate in a contest to see who can roar the loudest. In Wizard Act 3, Troll Giants are among the Wizard's army, and one Troll Giant accidentally knocks the head off of a Skeleton. In Wizard Final, the Wizard accidentally spawns a Giant Troll.

2. 7037: Tower Raid
The Tower Raid depicted the Trolls' siege upon a Western Kingdom tower.
The Archer is the Ranged unit of the King's army. The Archer has 2 strength, 300 life, 150 bricks, and 3 speed.

3. 7094: King's Castle Siege
The King's Castle Siege depicts the Wizard's skeleton army attack upon the Western Kingdom Castle.
The King's Castle itself appears in Wizard Act 3, as the Wizard's Dragon flies overhead and scouts the area around the King's Castle.
The Knight is the Mounted unit of the King's army. The Knight has 3 strength, 300 life, 250 bricks, and 3 speed. In King Act 3, the Knight leads the Western Kingdom army but accidentally falls off his horse.
The Tower is the King's defensive building, which is built to fire at any enemy which comes within its range. The Tower is also an upgradeable building, which can be upgraded to increase its firepower. In "Underfoot", the Wizard's army must destroy two of the King's Towers.

4. 7090: Crossbow Attack

7. 6271: Imperial Flagship
The Imperial Flagship was the mighty sea vessel of the Imperial Guard.
The Imperial Flagship has been adapted and redesigned into three Transport Ships, appearing as Transport units of the King, Pirate, and Imperial armies. All three Transport Ships have 1 strength and require 250 bricks. The King's Transport Ship has 850 life and 4 speed, while the other Transport Ships have only 750 life and 3 speed. In "Hidden Engine", Imperial Transport Ships must be attacked in search of a piece of the pirates' map. In "Booty Haul" and "Blockade", Captain Brickbeard must be transported by a Pirate Transport Ship to the level's endpoint.

8. 7029: Skeleton Ship Attack
The Skeleton Ship attacks a Western Kingdom dock.
The dock is adapted into the Castle, the King's main building. The Castle can be used to build Builders and respawn the King if he is defeated in battle. In "Dark Shadows", the King or one of the King's Builders must repair the Castle. In "Homecoming", the Wizard's army must destroy the Castle.

9. 7620: Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chase
Indiana Jones and Henry Jones, Sr. escape from the Nazis in an exciting Motorcycle Chase.
The barrier in this set makes an appearance in King Act 1. In an attempt to stop the Skeleton charge, the Guardsman tries to lower the barrier and block their path. This plan quickly fails as the Skeletons simply run around the barrier. In Wizard Act 1, the barrier is seen through the Wizard's crystal ball.

10. 7040: Dwarves' Mine Defender
The Dwarves protect their mines from Trolls with the Mine Defender.
The Dwarf operating the Mine Defender is given a golden helmet and appears as the Dwarf King, the Hero of the Dwarf army. The Dwarf King has 5 strength, 1000 life, 500 bricks, and 1 speed. The Dwarf King's Magic Spells are Area Damage Boost, Area Armor Boost, Thunder Hammer, and Mining Buff. In King Act 2, the Dwarf King is reluctant to ally with the Western Kingdom until he sees the Guardsman's gold offering. In "Old Allies", the King's army must rescue the Dwarf King from the Trolls. In King Final, the Dwarf King sits upon a fellow Dwarf to appear taller at the award ceremony, imitating Chewbacca. In "Homecoming", the Dwarf King must be defeated before the Wizard's army can attack the Castle.
A similar Dwarf with the normal silver helmet included in this set appears in King Final. The Dwarf hides in a bucket to imitate R2-D2.
In Wizard Act 3, several Troll banners can be seen held by the combined armies of the Skeletons and Trolls.

11. 7036: Dwarves' Mine
The Dwarves' Mine is where the Dwarves dig for treasure.
The Dwarf is the Close Combatant of the Dwarf army. The Dwarf has 2 strength, 250 life, 100 bricks, and 1 speed. In King Act 2, one Dwarf digs for gold while other Dwarves stand with the Dwarf King. In King Final, one Dwarf is sat upon by the Dwarf King to appear taller and imitate Chewbacca at the award ceremony. In Wizard Final, the Wizard accidentally spawns a Dwarf when trying to revive the Sorceress.
The King's Mine and Imperial Quarry are loosely based upon the Dwarves' Mine and feature the mine cart. These buildings are placed over cracks in the ground to harvest bricks. In King Act 2, which takes place within the Dwarves' Mine, a Dwarf can be seen riding by on a mine cart. In "Lining our Pockets", the Pirates must destroy four Quarries on Volcano Isle. In "All Mine", Imperial Builders must construct four Quarries.

12. 7093: Skeleton Tower
The Skeleton Tower is the mighty fortress of Mallock the Malign.
Mallock the Malign appears as the Wizard, the Hero of the Wizard's army. The Wizard has 3 strength, 1100 life, 500 bricks, and 1 speed. The Wizard's Magic Spells are Area Speed Boost, Area Damage Boost, Fireball, and Lightning. As the primary Hero of the Wizard's Story, the Wizard is playable in all Wizard levels. In Wizard Act 1, the Wizard tries to assemble his magical scepter but learns that three pieces are missing. In Wizard Final, the Wizard uses his newly-built scepter to revive his lost love, the Sorceress.
The Wizard's Dragon appears as a Special unit of the Wizard's army. The Wizard's Dragon has 3 strength, 700 life, 900 bricks, and 5 speed. In Wizard Act 3, a Wizard's Dragon ridden by a Skeleknight scouts the Western Kingdom and observes the King's Castle.
The Skeleton Tower is the Wizard's main building, which can be used to build Builders and respawn the Wizard if he is defeated in battle. In "Confrontation", the King's army must destroy the Skeleton Tower. In Wizard Final, the Wizard is inside the Skeleton Tower as he attempts to revive the Sorceress.
Additionally, the bone cage is used by the Islanders to lock up the Ninja Master in Pirates Act 2.

13. 7009: The Final Joust
The Final Joust was held between a brave Western Kingdom knight and an evil Skeleknight.
The Skeleknight appears as the Mounted unit of the Wizard's army. The Skeleknight has 2 speed, 300 life, 250 bricks, and 3 speed. Skeleknights also appear as the riders of Wizard's Dragons, as seen in Wizard Act 3.

14. 852293: Castle Giant Chess Set
The Castle Giant Chess Set is LEGO's largest chess set to date.
The rooks of the Wizard's set appear in LEGO Battles as Siege Towers, a Special unit of the Wizard's army. Siege Towers have 5 strength, 450 life, 250 bricks, and 2 speed.
While standard Skeletons are not playable in LEGO Battles, they appear in various cutscenes. In King Act 1, Skeletons charge around a Guardsman's barrier. In Wizard Act 1, a Skeleton brings the Wizard his incomplete scepter. In Wizard Act 2, a pair of Skeletons rates the performances of Giant Trolls. In Wizard Act 3, Skeletons appear among the Wizard's army.

15. 4766: Graveyard Duel
Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort face off in the Graveyard Duel.
The Graveyard is the Wizard's unit cap raising building. Every Graveyard built will raise the Minifigure cap by 4 and the Special cap by 1, to maximum of 20 Minifigures and 4 Specials. Graveyard are also required to build Cauldrons and Special units. In "The Uninvited", the Wizard's army must eradicate the King's forces from the Graveyards.
The Mausoleum is the Wizard's Minifigure unit building. The Mausoleum can build Close Combat, Ranged, and Mounted units. In "Grave Mission", the King's army must destroy the Wizard's Mausoleums.

16. 6253: Shipwreck Hideout
The Shipwreck Hideout is Captain Brickbeard's hidden base of operations.
Captain Brickbeard appears as the Hero of the Pirates army. Captain Brickbeard has 5 strength, 1000 life, 500 bricks, and 1 speed. Captain Brickbeard's Magic Spells are Area Speed Boost, Area Armor Boost, Monkey Swarm, and Crab Swarm. As the primary Hero of the Pirates' Story, Captain Brickbeard is playable in all Pirates levels. In Wizard Act 1, Captain Brickbeard is accidentally spawned by the Wizard and tries to attack him. In Pirates Act 1, Captain Brickbeard learns from an old pirate about a treasure. In Pirates Final, Captain Brickbeard is unsatisfied with the hordes of treasure but enthusiastic about a new treasure hunt with the Lady Pirate. In Imperial Act 1, Captain Brickbeard mocks Governor Broadside. In Imperial Final, Captain Brickbeard is defeated and buried in the sand by Governor Broadside in a similar fashion to Captain Redbeard in LEGO Chess.
The Lady Pirate is the female Hero of the Pirates army. The Lady Pirate has 4 strength, 1000 life, 500 bricks, and 2 speed. The Lady Pirate's Magic Spells are Area Speed Boost, Area Armor Boost, Monkey Swarm, and Crab Swarm. In Pirates Final, Lady Pirate approaches Captain Brickbeard with a new treasure map. As the Lady Pirate can only be unlocked by completing the Pirates' Story, Lady Pirate is only playable in Free Play mode.

17. 6243: Brickbeard's Bounty
Brickbeard's Bounty is the mighty pirate ship of Captain Brickbeard.
The Builder is the Builder unit of the Pirates army. The Builder has 1 strength, 140 life, 45 bricks, and 2 speed. As Builder units are crucial to building bases and harvesting resources, Builders are playable in all Pirates levels. In Pirates Act 3, the Builder warns his crew about approaching Imperial ships. In Pirates Final, the Builder dives into the horded pile of gold. In Imperial Act 1, the Builder laughs as Broadside is mocked by Brickbeard. In Imperial Act 3, the Builder is bribed by the Cavalry into revealing the location of Brickbeard's secret hideout.
The Gunman is the Ranged unit of the Pirates army. The Gunman has 2 strength, 200 life, 150 bricks, and 3 speed. In Pirates Act 2, the Gunman asks the Islanders about the treasure map. In Pirates Act 3, the Gunman is warned by the Builder about approaching Imperial ships. In Pirates Final, the Gunman rows a boat full of gold to the Brickbeard's Bounty.
The Brickbeard's Bounty is adapated into two Special units, the Battleship for the Pirate and Imperial armies. Both Battleships has 4 strength, 650 life, and 500 bricks, but the Pirate Battleship has 4 speed while the Imperial Battleship only has 3 speed. The original set is slightly modified into the Brickbeard's Bounty, which has 4 strength, 700 life, 750 bricks, and 3 speed, and this Brickbeard's Bounty appears in Pirates Act 2, Pirates Final, and Imperial Act 1. Additionally, the mermaid figurehead of the Brickbeard's Bounty is incorporated into the designs of other Pirates Special units, the Transport Ship and Barracuda.
Sharks are non-playable enemies that the Pirate army must defeat in "Hostile Waters".

18. 852751: Pirates Chess Set
The Pirates Chess Set is LEGO's pirate-themed chess set.
One of the pirate pawns appears as the the Oarsman, the Close Combat unit of the Pirates army. The Oarsman has 1 strength, 300 life, 120 bricks, and 3 speed. In Pirates Act 2, the Oarsman speaks with the Islanders and accidentally knocks out the Gunman. In Pirates Act 3, the Oarsman sees approaching Imperial ships in his spyglass. In "Adrift", three stranded Oarsmen must be rescued. In Pirates Final, the Oarsman rows a boat full of gold to the Brickbeard's Bounty. In Imperial Act 1, the Oarsman laughs as Brickbeard mocks Broadside. In "The Canary", the Oarsman accepts bribes from the Imperials. In Imperial Final, the Oarsman is defeated and buried in the sand but still tries to flirt with Camilla.
The imperial queen appears as Camilla, the female Hero of the Imperial army. Camilla has 3 strength, 1000 life, 500 bricks, and 3 speed. Camilla's Magic Spells are Area Damage Boost, Area Armor Boost, Jungle Growth, and Artillery. In Imperial Final, Camilla runs away after the Oarsman tries to flirt with her. As Camilla can only be unlocked by completing the Imperial Story, Camilla is only playable in Free Play mode.
Monkeys are non-playable characters which the Imperial army must capture in "Monkey Business". In Wizard Final, Monkey is also accidentally spawned by the Wizard.

19. 6274: Caribbean Clipper
The Caribbean Clipper is the flagship of the Imperial Soldiers.
The Caribbean Clipper is recolored and adapted into two Special units, the Barracuda for the Pirates army and the Clipper for the Imperial army. The Clipper is closer to the original design, while the Barracuda uses some elements from other pirate ships such as the Brickbeard's Bounty mermaid figurehead. Both ships have 550 life, 350 bricks, and 5 speed, but the Clipper has 4 strength while the Barracuda only has 3 strength.

20. 6289: Red Beard Runner
The Red Beard Runner is one of Captain Redbeard's many pirate ships.
Blackjack Hawkins makes a cameo appearance in Pirates Act 1. Blackjack is one of three pirates burying the treasure in the old pirate's flashback. After they bury the treasure, Blackjack is the first to turn on the others and to try taking the pirate map for himself. As a result, the map is torn into three pieces by the fighting pirates, and the Pirates Story revolves around finding the two other pieces of the map.

In Pirates Final, the shield of King Kahuka's tribe can be seen in Captain Brickbeard's quarters.

23. 6246: Crocodile Cage
The Crocodile Cage is used by Islanders to lock up Pirates.
The Islander is the Ranged unit of the Islander army. The Islander has 2 strength, 250 life, 100 bricks, and 3 speed. In Pirates Act 2, the Islander looks at the Gunman's map and points out that the symbol on the map has the same design as the Tiki Golem.

24. 6278: Enchanted Island
Enchanted Island is the home of King Kahuka and his Islanders.
The head of the Islander statue is incorporated into the design of the Tiki Golem, the Special unit of the Islander army. The Tiki Golem also uses the hands of 7645 MT-61 Crystal Reaper. The Tiki Golem has 3 strength, 550 life, 500 bricks, and 3 speed. In "Temple Raid", the Imperials must destroy the Tiki Golem.
In Pirates Act 2, the Pirates visit Enchanted Island and ask the Islanders for help. One of the Islanders points to the Islander statue in reference to the drawing on the map.

Governor Broadside is the Hero of the Imperial army. Governor Broadside has 4 strength, 1100 life, 500 bricks, and 1 speed. Governor Broadside's Magic Spells are Area Damage Boost, Area Armor Boost, Jungle Growth, and Artillery. As the primary Hero of the Imperial Story, Governor Broadside is playable in all Imperial levels. In Imperial Act 1, Governor Broadside is disgusted by his crew's lack of discipline and Captain Brickbeard's mocking impression of him. In Imperial Final, Governor Broadside buries Captain Brickbeard in the sand, much like he did to Captain Redbeard in LEGO Chess.

In Imperial Act 2, the Cavalry makes an alliance with the Ninjas. In Imperial Act 3, the Cavalry bribes the pirate Builder. In Imperial Final, the Cavalry again accompanies Governor Broadside.

The MX-81 Hypersonic Operations Aircraft is the greatest spacecraft of the Astros.
The Trooper is the Close Combat unit of the Earth army. The Trooper has 2 strength, 275 life, 90 bricks, and 1 speed. In Earth Act 2, the Trooper is interrogated by the Space Police Captain. In Earth Act 3, Troopers are given weapons by the Commando. In Earth Final, the Trooper appears among the Earth army as they celebrate victory over the Aliens.
The Alien Commander is the Hero of the Alien army. The Alien Commander has 5 strength, 1000 life, 500 bricks, and 1 speed. The Alien Commander's Magic Spells are Area Speed Boost, Area Damage Boost, Crystal Cache, and ESP. As the primary Hero of the Alien Story, the Alien Commander is playable in most Alien levels. In Alien Act 1, the Alien Commander ignores the ETX Alien Mothership's alarms as he tries to assemble a LEGO castle. In Alien Final, when the Mothership is repaired and safely in space, the Alien Commander begins to build a LEGO house.

The MX-41 Switch Fighter is a unique Astro vehicle which can transform.

In "Stranded", players must use a Transport Ship to rescue the Robot. In "Mothership Connection", players must first capture two Robots that have the security codes to access the Mothership.
