1. 851: Tractor
One of the four sets that started Technic back in 1977 was this Massey Ferguson. A beautiful design, it set the standard for future tractors with steering, PTO (the axle at the back to drive attachments) and a lifting mechanism. Came with instructions for no less than 5 differenct attachments.

2. 952: Farm Tractor
American release of 851.

3. 8859: Tractor
Much bigger than 851, this set added a working engine under the bonnet. Strangely the attachment in the instructions did not use the PTO.

4. 8849: Tractor
This tractor from 1985 had no working engine but instead it has a pendular front axle. Again the attachment in the instructions does not use the PTO.

5. 8281: Mini Tractor
After a 20 year gap Technic Tractors returned with two sets. This tiny tractor has a working PTO and lifting mechanism. No steering though.

6. 8284: Dune Buggy / Tractor
The second 2006 set was like a double-A single; in some countries the Dune buggy was the main model, in other countries the Tractor was the main model.
Tractor functions include steering, pendular front axle, engine, PTO, lift and attachment.

7. 8063: Tractor with Trailer
Three years after 8284 the tractor in this set is almost identical except for the colour. This time it comes with a trailer.

8. 8260: Tractor
At just over 100 pieces this is the smallest tractor in the Technic line. The only function is raising and lowering the bucket.
