Sets with female minifigs
For years, female minifigs were scarce in Lego sets, and some of us like a bit more gender equality in our Lego worlds, so here's a list of some of the female minifigs I find interesting that you may not have been aware of before.
For the moment I have left licensed sets off the list as people seem to be pretty familiar with those.

1. 6253: Shipwreck Hideout
The female pirate minifig is also available in the pirate advent calendar and the pirate tic-tac-toe game.

2. 10000: Guarded Inn
Castle introduced female minifigs long before pirates, this set contains a maiden in the legend re-release of the guarded inn (originally set number 6067 from 1996). This is my first memory of a female fig that wasn't in a city set. Although not the greatest fig, it was the forerunner for some fantastic later castle figs.

3. 10193: Medieval Market Village
The Medieval Market Village contains two fantastic female figs, a maid and a very well dressed peasant. The female castles figs have certainly come along way over the years with the introduction of the printed slope piece for a dress.

4. 2536: Divers Jet Ski
This set containing the female diver can still be bought brand new for less than $3 on bricklink!

5. 4936: Doc & Patient
This is another cheap set, this time containing a female doctor.

6. 1349: Steven Spielberg Moviemaker Set
This studio set contains a female fig in a tube top, something I don't think will see again in a long while. This certainly isn't the cheapest fig around with the tube top only existing for this fig, expect to pay at least $10 for a used one.

7. 6243: Brickbeard's Bounty
This contains the beatuiful Admiral's daughter who will also be available, albeit in a different dress in the huge Imperial Flagship to be released next year.

8. 8635: Mobile Command Center
Agent Trace (our very own Sarah Walker, one for all you Chuck fans out there) is available from a heap of Agents sets including 8633, 8637 and 8970 as well as the mobile command centre.

9. 7412: Yeti's Hideout
Pippin Reed comes in this set, a fantastic fig in a reasonably priced set that also includes a Yeti that I've been using as a Wampa and will be until the real Wampa is released next year.

10. 7637: Farm
Although this is a fairly expensive set, the female farm hand can be bought at a very reasonable price quite easily.

11. 6973: Deep Freeze Defender
The female fig found in this set is simply known as "Ice Planet Babe". She can be found in the two most expensive Ice Planet sets, this one and 6983 Space Station Odyssey. Howeever the fig can be bought for a couple dollars used.

12. 5974: Galactic Enforcer
The only Space Police female is available in this giant set, thankfully the fig can be bought pretty easily for just a few dollars, unlike the classic space statue from this set which will set you back at least $10.
