Cool Little Speeder.

This set is surprisingly fun to play with. You can stage battles with the Imperial Dropship and display them. This Includes two blaster rifles and two blasters. You can take the laser turret off to become a separate defense turret.

pros:
Hours of fun!
Cannon can separate.
Rebel soldiers.
Turret can swivel 360 degrees.

cons:
None

I like this set a lot. Get this if you can find it.

8th Lego Set

When I was obsessed with film making, I thought I would start off with this set for A New Hope

Worth the Money and Cool Figs

Okay so where should I start. Well first off: no sets come to mind when I try to think of some that come with rebels other than this one.

Actually I don't think there are any others. And this set, for $10!, comes with four of them.

Okay now for the features:

-Places to seat 3 rebels

-Rotating turret on top with a place for the 4th rebel

-Four places to hold eeach of the Rebel's guns

-On the bottom there are rounded pieces to help it slide on smooth surfaces (even carpet)

-Stickers (dang!)

-I'm not sure if this was accidental or lego did this on purpose but if you take the turret of, then remove the 2x4 grey plate and take away the 2 light grey triangle pieces it reveals an opening that could be used for storage for things like guns, accesories, etc...

This is a good set. If you have 10 buck though I would get the Clone Walker but as far as battle packs go this is a close 2nd.

This set is better then it's storm trooper counterpart

pros:

well built

four troopers

nice design

cannon on the top

holders for guns

Cons: gun tower falls off

big guns are hard for soldiers to hold

Finally! Original rebel soldiers and a rebel land attack vehicle!

I mean they have X-wings, Y-wings, A-wings, B-wings, turrets, and little transporting vehicles but no land attack vehicles, until now. It may be small, but at least it's something. This set has four original rebel soldiers, the very first rebel land attack vehicle, special places for the blasters, and the vehicle's gun can come off and be used as a turret. The soldiers are cool and nicely detailed, but their large helmets don't stay on too well. Overall, this set is great.
