Toys"R"Us in the U.S. is having another LEGO sale! This week, all sets from the City, Castle, Mars Mission, Technic, BIONICLE, EXO-FORCE, Aqua Raiders, and Racers themes are buy one, get one 50% off! I assume that this includes the 2008 sets from these themes too. Sadly, Star Wars and other licensed themes are excluded from this offer.

Twenty-one 2008 sets are now available from Shop-At-Home for North American customers. Sets include Exo-Force, Racers and Creator. For some reason they are not yet appearing in our product feed, though. As soon as they are we'll provide a quick link to the 2008 sets on S@H for US and UK customers.

Overflow1910 mailed us to say that he's noticed that there's a teaser page for Indiana Jones on lego.com.
What's more, he says if you click on the 4th head from the left at the bottom, you'll be rewarded with a nice wallpaper!

If you have heard about the LEGO TV promotion currently running on Comcast, but do not have the ability to watch it, now is your chance! Here is an official link provided by the LEGO Group to view it on your computer. There are mostly commercials for recent sets, but there are also some Brickfilms, an EXO-FORCE movie, Revenge of the Brick, and some other movies.

water jedi 17 has informed us of this page at starwars.com, reporting that, if you wish to get the new 7672 Rogue Shadow set early, all you need is an XBOX 360, an XBOX LIVE subscription, and a copy of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga for XBOX 360. Then, just play the online co-op mode this weekend, December 7-9, for a chance to win one of the 72 Rogue Shadow sets, given out hourly. There are also 2 secondary prizes, including non-LEGO related XBOX 360 accessories, and a grand prize featuring the UCS Death Star II set! Interestingly, the grand prize doesn't include the Rogue Shadow.

If you're in the UK the list is currently blank; we won't be seeing anything new until a few days before Christmas at the earliest!

As has been mentioned in one of the comment threads, 2008 sets are starting to show up in Toys R Us in the UK, including the first three Indiana Jones sets 7621-7623. I'll be off to my local branch first thing tomorrow...

The UCS Death Star II, normally around $300, is currently on clearance for $194.99 at the U.S. Target website! Better yet, they are currently offering free shipping on this item. This will not stay around for long, so grab it while you can!

Every year, around this time, LEGO shelves are not stocked well. In a month or two, this problem will be gone. But, many of the sets released this year will not be restocked, as they have been discontinued. So, before you buy every new 2008 set, make sure to look and see if there aren't some 2007 sets you still want, as they may not be around much longer.

We wish all Brickset users a Merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous New Year -- and hope Santa brings all of you, plenty of rattling boxes!
2007 is Brickset's 10th anniversary and it's been a great year for the site. Traffic has virtually tripled over the year from 150,000 visits and 700,000 page views in January to nearly 400,000 visits and 2.2 million page views in November. We've added some great new features, not least of which are the direct product links to LEGO Shop At Home that are now making the site a small amount of money which'll go towards its up-keep. Thanks to everyone who has bought stuff from S@H after clicking through from Brickset.
I hope we can continue to improve the site in 2008 to make it even more useful to you. Please keep the news and ideas coming. It's your site, tell us what you want to be able to do on it!

The LEGO Shop At Home sale has started, and the 2008 sets are now available for order in the UK. They have not appeared in our product feed yet (so you'll still see nothing if you click on the link above), so click on the yellow graphic link on the menu to the left and get ordering!
The sale includes some interesting sets which are selling out fast, so don't delay, order today :-)
Update Jan 2nd: The feed now includes new sets and those on sale. The link above now works for the UK!
