I thought I'd start a new thread for reports of 2009 sets. Please comment on this article only if you have new news about set availability. Here's some to start off:

7631 is available from the LEGO store in Bellevue, WA (thanks to David H). A shop worker there says he expects a lot more 2009 sets to appear the first week of December, which will be just after Thanksgiving which is when they usually start to appear.

Eurobricks has posted a long list of set numbers and names of sets for release in the summer of 2009. I'll post the list as a comment to this article to save clogging up the home page.

Being in the UK I have no idea what 'Black Friday' is but Brian in the USA emailed us to say "I have some Black Friday news. I found out some info regarding LEGO sales that could benefit bricksetters in the US. I have learned about K-Mart (Buy 2 Get 1 free), Wal-Mart (7094 Castle Siege %50 off $48.88), Target (Imperial Star Destroyer for $69.99 instead of $99.99) and TRU (selected sets %40 off-just don't know which sets). "

I hope that's of use to you!

(update: if like me you don't know anything about Black Friday, find out at Wikipedia)
