The elusive Special Edition EXO-FORCE set, Combat Crawler X2, previously available to American LEGO fans via Shop@Home but shortly thereafter taken down, is once again available to all of us. Let's hope that it is permanent this time!

Thanks to Brickset member deinonychus, we now have confirmation that this year's Target exclusive sets are now in Target stores! These sets include Star Wars: 7664 TIE Crawler, Castle: 7036 Dwarves' Mine, Racers: 8146 Nitro Muscle, and EXO-FORCE: 7721 Combat Crawler X2. This is currently the only known way to get 7036 at all, and is the only way to get 7664, 8146, and 7721 in the U.S. We will keep you updated on any other availability issues concerning these sets.

LEGO have asked them to be removed from klotsky.org so I have removed the link to them.

Brickset is now getting a feed from LEGO with details of all sets available at S@H. This has enabled me to add prices and direct product links to the search results and set information pages. At the moment it's only for the UK, but I hope to add US prices and links in the coming weeks. If you're in the US, you can still use the existing link, it just doesn't go directly to the product.
I hope you find them useful; be sure to click-through and buy, and thanks to those of you that have already used them.

Several new sets have been released on LEGO's website for U.S. and Canadian consumers. Among these are the Target-exclusives previously reported on, such as 7036 Dwarves' Mine, as well as 7664 TIE Crawler. Also available are the Creator bundle, Mr. Magorium's Big Book and a Luke Skywalker Pilot Maquette. Sadly, these two, as well as 7036, are currently unavailable to European customers. Let's hope this changes soon!

German toy site Kaleido.Shop has pictures of some of the 2008 sets that were leaked earlier this month, the difference is, according to what I have read, these are legally released! Not all of the sets are pictured yet, however a few themes do have pictures of their entire known line-up.

If you live in the U.S., do not live near a LEGO Brand store, and do not want to pay shipping and handling for the new Creator Mr. Magorium's Big Book, don't worry! The set is available at Target stores. You have to look for it though. It is located on an endcap with a group of other vintage toys. It's not known if it's exclusive to Target stores or not, and we will report on any other sightings. Sadly, it is still not available to European consumers, but we will keep you posted...

The De Bouwsteen site has a picture of a new town plan set that has presumably been revealed at LEGO World which is currently on-going in Holland. What's particularly nice about it is that it has a picture of Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen on the box 50 years after he was photographed as a boy on a town plan set from 1958!
It looks like a neat set featuring some interesting colours.

Gertjan has taken picures of next year's Exo-Force sets at LEGO World and posted them on Brickshelf. I have to say I'm a bit of an Exo-Force fan and like the direction LEGO are taking the theme. It's like Bionicle but with real parts :-)

If you live in the U.S. or Canada, and own a Wii, DS, PS3, or XBOX 360, you can now pre-order LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Video Game directly from the LEGO website! Oddly, the ship date is listed as November 19th, instead of the 6th, as everywhere else has its release listed. The extra wait may be worth it, however, as if you order before November 30th, you get an exclusive content code on the packing slip. As far as I know, the game is still listed to be released on November 9th in the UK.

Site update Posted by Huw, Oct 19 2007 3:26PM
If you're in the UK, check out the new Buy tab above!
I should have a feed of US sets and prices in the next few days, so if you're feeling left out by all the recent improvements, hang on in there!

North Americans, your wait is over! I have the US feed and you can now see US prices, direct product links and the 'Buy' page shows what's available from S@H.
The country detection code should send you off to the right page but in case it doesn't, you can switch to the US page from the UK one and vice-versa. When you have done that once, it will remember your preference.
I plan to add plenty more features in the coming weeks: Sets available only in the US, only in the UK, new sets at S@H, maybe even a chart showing the sets with the best and worse $/£ ratios (but LEGO might not like that!)
If you like what I'm doing, encourage me to do more by buying your sets from my links!
Update: I think the complexity of the queries to support this functionalty is causing some pages to timeout. If you experience such problems, please persevere or try again later. I'll have to work on optimising them in the next few days.
