That is weird, this set just came out. Honestly though it just brings the price per piece ratio to a more reasonable amount.

Wish they would discount the imperial shuttle to $100

I bought one this morning for my son. Now if I can just find an Obi-wan that is not glued together, he will be good. ;-)

Let's hope they reduce it in the UK sometime soon as well.

I think it shows that it was over priced to begin with and that people were not buying it. Look at Lego Universe. How many units does Lego need to sell to make it worth the money? 500K, 1Mil, more?

Most probably not selling well since, IMO it just doesn't look as detailed as it could be plus for the piece count this 25% discount gets it to what should've been it's original retail price.

I've seen it on display and the X-Wing fighter for $50.00 looks just as detailed if not better.

Dito to your comment atkinsar! Anybody who thinks this set is not over priced is mad. In the UK another £5 buys you the stunning Tantive IV set with more than twice the number of parts! Bring on the price cuts!

grossly overpriced to begin with, and the truth is they chose a not-so-memorative ship anyways

jatonaz is right on the mark. Before this was released I knew it was a dog. How uninteresting. This is nothing without the detachable hyperspace ring. No minifig! This must have hardly sold. So many better thing to do with $100 USD. Hand it to Lego, dump it and move on, we learned our lesson.
