Can confirm Walmart here in my town of Beaver Dam, WI has series 3. Just bought 20 and got the display box. The Lego aisle itself is wiped from Santa but minifigs finaly made it to my town.

The shop Target sells the Lego set Target Practice :-)

Posted by Okay in United States, 23 Dec 2010 04:27

Borders still sells Series 2 as well. Mine still has hordes of them because they sell them at $3.99.

Well, I might as well post something;

When I was at my "local" TRU (it is about 15 minutes away) a week or so ago, I purchased (well, my mom did the buying, but whatever) one of the Stormtrooper polybag things that you get free with purchase over $30. I thought, "Forget getting a medium set; I'll get to small ones, and buy the trooper." So I did. I never really knew that you could just walk up, and buy the 'bag off of the LEGO aisle.

And, that same TRU did NOT have the Collectable Minifigures when I went that trip; nor did they have them when I went yesterday (12-21-10).

All of the Targets in the Raleigh NC area are out of the World Racers mini polybag sets. I was able to find the mini-sub, octopus, target practice, and plenty of the army jeeps and city helicopters.

Posted by aaronptrck in United States, 23 Dec 2010 10:28

The Target where I live had a million of the Jeep polybags at the registers... but they had none of the Target Practice sets at the checkstand... Hope they get some in! :(

Posted by native1 in United States, 23 Dec 2010 10:29

I can confirm that Series 3 are at Phoenix, AZ Walmarts. In the Lego isle.

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 23 Dec 2010 11:26

So far in Northern Virginia, I've recently only been able to find the army jeep, helicopter, atlantis diver, and x-wing polybags. I haven't seen the atlantis octopus or world racer jet ski in the last couple of weeks. But I definitely keep checking each week for the 2 castle polybags as they look pretty sweet.

And as for the Target Lego giftcard, consider yourself lucky if you can find one at your local store. Since they first debuted several weeks back, they've flown off the pegs like hot cakes. Be sure to check the ends of the card aisles as well as sidecaps throughout the store. Additionally, there is usually one checkout line with an endcap devoted solely to giftcards so don't forget to check there too. :o)

I found the kingdom's polybag in the Christmas isle mixed in with the other polybags.

Posted by lady_bricker in United States, 23 Dec 2010 11:47

i have found the target gift cards on the end cap of the birthday card section but also on pegs near the toy section, electronics, and most recently in the kitchen section! make sure that you look *everywhere* or ask an employee. i was just at target yesterday and saw a full rack of them.

my local borders has two overflowing boxes of series 2 minifigs plus more in their christmas section, and there are two 33%-off borders coupons this week that are good through tomorrow, so you can improve on their steep markup:

@lady_bricker - Good idea. I might grab another Skier or Traffic Cop and at $2.67/ea., not too shabby. :o)

Posted by spacysmoke in United States, 23 Dec 2010 13:50

The lego gift card has been available for a while now. They were hard to find at first, but I've seen quite a few of them recently at various Targets. You can also buy it from Target's website, but you have to put a minimum of $25 on the card, so if you can find it in the store, that's the better option.

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 23 Dec 2010 13:59

We did report the 'Bullseye' gift card about 6 weeks ago ...
http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=965
... but it was worth repeating as it is such a good deal :-)

I was in the US a couple of weeks ago, and hunted around a SuperTarget trying to find one, but ended up leaving empty handed :-(

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 23 Dec 2010 14:37

@bluemoose - Unfortunately, the Bullseye Giftcard set is not available to tourists. :o)

Posted by Aquapolis in United States, 23 Dec 2010 16:22

just checked the walmart at my place. nope they don't have either of the series.. ;(

Just saw a Ninjago Set at Target and picked up 4, they were $5.00

My local Target also got in a fresh shipment of the Bullseye Lego Gift Cards. They had 20-30 of them on a rack near the end of one of the toy aisles (not the Lego aisle, though). This surprised me considering the couple of times they had Bullseye in stock before, they only had a few.

I'm really excited about those Kingdoms polybag sets since I've been on the hunt for them for months. My local Target didn't have any in yesterday, and I do not know that store's shipment days, so I'll just have to check in randomly over the next couple of weeks. Good to hear they finally arrived in the US.

In other Target news, my store didn't have any NinjaGo yet, but they did have the $4.99 Scarab Attack set from Pharaoh's Quest. No shelf price tags for any other Pharaoh Quest sets yet though.

Just got home from Walmart in NH, they had two boxes of series 3 on the shelf, $2.97 each. We picked up 20, and of the 10 we opened, have 7 unique figures. The other 10? Well, those are at the very bottom of our daughter's Christmas stocking... :)

Posted by Aquapolis in United States, 23 Dec 2010 23:13

hmm anyone wants to tell me about the 'boxes' of series 3? I was searching in Walmart but i didn't see anything...

Posted by zb2 in United States, 23 Dec 2010 23:34

my local walmart in sevierville tn had 5 boxes four hidden togeter between the atlantis and starwars and one really picked through on the end

Posted by cara in United States, 24 Dec 2010 01:43

Are the walmart boxes this time boxes like TRU rather than the hanging display?

I had them stock check and none in the walmarts in my area yet, however within 50 miles only 2 walmarts had them and one had 240 the other 360! So 4 and 6 boxes respectively, thats definately a lot more than series 2.

Does anyone know Target's number for the target practice poly bag?

Posted by yys4u in United States, 24 Dec 2010 03:05

This might be slightly off topic, but I'm looking for the Mandolorian battle back, I forgot which thread but someone said they are being sold at TRU for 15 bucks?

Anyone know if they have arrived at target, warlmart, or the lego store, I dont really want to pay the mark up price....

Posted by greshmalum in United States, 24 Dec 2010 08:18

We went to SuperTarget recently, and they had the Army Jeep and a Fire Helicopter up in those mini-aisles at the registers. They were maybe around $3.

Posted by romdam in United States, 24 Dec 2010 20:17

The Walmart "boxes" are the regular display boxes, like if you were to buy a case of them.

Posted by Tervlon in United States, 24 Dec 2010 20:37

I found four cases at a local UT Walmart, they were stocked last night and were put in the middle of the mega bloks. I bought a case and can confirm that the distribution is the same as reported elsewhere. The prices rang up at $2.97. The cashier scanned the case and it rang up at $2.97, I was sure to point out that I was actually purchasing 60. I hope the stores catch this problem and aren't't selling cases for $2.97.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 24 Dec 2010 20:44

I'm sure we will hear about people buying cases of s3 for $2.97 because retailers are morons who don't bother to open the cases and look or to educate their employees about them being individual packets. I think TRU was smart by putting them behind the service desk.

Posted by 1265 in United States, 24 Dec 2010 22:16

@ starfire2 - The real morons are those who attempt to get cases at $2.97........not the employees. Plus, with many Walmarts having self check-out lanes.....it just makes it so much easier.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 24 Dec 2010 22:28

That's true too. I hate dishonest people.

Posted by dehnehsu in United States, 24 Dec 2010 23:51

Northern Californians. Walmart Mountain View has 6 fresh full boxes of series 3 stocked. ($2.97 each) I was there at X-Mas eve 1 hour before closing. So for the morning of Dec. 26th there should be all 6 to pick thru. I only grabbed 1 Samurai and Elf and Chief, so there is plenty left! They are located in the Lego aisle. Oh and the dots are near impossible to read, I also relied on feeling for parts for the correct figures.

Posted by brickmatt in United States, 27 Dec 2010 21:51

I didn't notice this article earlier or I might have posted earlier, but the Evansville, IN Borders still has loads of Series 2 figures. There $4 each (I think - I remember it was a $1 more than TRU's price when they had them), so a little expensive, but still not bad for picking up some extras.

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 28 Dec 2010 00:15

Bluemoose: if you want one of the sets I have them in my bricklink store.

Posted by yys4u in United States, 28 Dec 2010 00:36

I found the target practice set at LEGOLAND on halloween, picked it up cause i needed to reach 20 bucks to get free parking

Posted by jgrahl in United States, 29 Dec 2010 10:18

Can't find target practice at targets. They have all of the other polybags though
