I love the Star Destroyer and the Brickmaster Slave 1, but the AAT looks a bit strange, very hard model to design in that scale though. I often think that the mini sets are the hardest to design as you need to get as much detail as you can in a very small area.

Posted by Orange_Juice in United Kingdom, 01 Jan 2011 12:10

Alot of them seem to be loading extremely slow, They usually load quite fast.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 01 Jan 2011 12:16

^ Some of them are massive, 160+ Mb, so they will be slow to download!

Posted by jonbuddy in United States, 01 Jan 2011 12:31

I thought Brickmaster ended already? They said in a catalog it was to make way for another thing.

Posted by Gowinkle in New Zealand, 01 Jan 2011 13:01

jonbuddy from my understanding brickmaster was discontinued (eg no more subscriptions issued/renewed) but some people still have a few months left so lego is honouring the length of their subscription. they also say on their website that the new offer will be arriving after march-april

set 30053 does not look like the star destroyer as the star destroyer does not have large amounts of red so i think a better description would be a (mini) venator-class republic attack cruiser.

all sets awesome!!

Posted by ceroknight in Canada, 01 Jan 2011 14:49

they don't look good at all...

Posted by Pepper in United States, 01 Jan 2011 15:48

I don't like the clown fish, the AAT feels incomplete, the Venator is average, but the Slave 1 is cool.

Posted by LEGOCollector2504 in United States, 01 Jan 2011 17:34

To the best of my knowledge, I'm guessing that the Venator and AAT are Target Easter polybags this year. Seeing as 30050 and 30051 were last year's polybags, 30052 and 30053 seem to fall logically into this category.

Posted by Carl in New Zealand, 01 Jan 2011 19:11

the star wars ones (Slave I, Star Destroyer, AAT) look awesome!

Posted by Carnigee77 in United States, 01 Jan 2011 21:51

@gowinkle I still have like 4 months on my subscription and havnt gotten a thing

Posted by Gowinkle in New Zealand, 01 Jan 2011 23:00

@carnigee thats odd other people with brickmaster subscriptions have received these sets. lego would not make these sets if they werent going to lego brickmasters this is what eurobricks said http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=46176
did you get this email or something similar? it would be a shame if you missed out as the slave looks cool!

Posted by SarahIsabella in United States, 01 Jan 2011 23:28

@Carnigee I just got my brickmaster slave 1 set yesterday. With all the weather issues around the country as well as holiday mail I suspect some packages may take a little longer than usual.

Aaah - the curse of Brickmaster ! I thought we were done with these U.S.-only exclusives, but obviously not yet....

If there are any kindly U.S.-based folks who'd be willing to bag me a Slave 1 or two and post to me in the UK I'd be very grateful - thanks in advance !

Posted by blazetrooper501 in United States, 02 Jan 2011 12:01

I wonder if the mini star wars sets will be easter polybag sets this year.

Posted by voyanui8768 in United Kingdom, 02 Jan 2011 14:46

Now we just need 2 more Star Wars polybags to be able to have another Daily Mirror promotion! The X-wing, the republic gunship, the AAT and the Venator!

Posted by legobagel in United Kingdom, 02 Jan 2011 17:43

@voyanui8768 no we would only need one more we would have 5 sets than we would have playmats and boxes lasting for 7 days

Posted by Gus263 in N/A, 03 Jan 2011 07:41

Now I finally know how the Hero Factory 2.0 villains are done. And I didn't like it. Many unused arms, joints and sockets just ruins the design (and even playability) of Nitroblast. If I'm to get those new pieces, it would be worthy to pick Fire Lord. But buying a set with that price for just 125 pieces is a rip off to me.
How I wanted they never got rid of Technic building, Titans before used to be much better...

Posted by blazetrooper501 in United States, 03 Jan 2011 08:36

I hope the star wars arent daily mirror sets like the stap and mini clone walker in 2009.

Has anyone else clicked on the instructions for the cargo train and got the message about part 15 of the FCC rules?

Posted by natro220 in United States, 03 Jan 2011 16:12

Just an idea...but could the clownfish be a hint at future Finding Nemo sets? I mean, we've seen several Disney themes lately, and Toy Story and Cars from Pixar...

I think the sunken shark's hideout would be cool, as would the aquarium in the dentist's office.

Posted by legobagel in United Kingdom, 03 Jan 2011 17:24

^ for the love of god i hate it when people see a clownfish and say "oh look its Nemo" its annoying however a finding nemo theme would be awesome

NinjaGo and Atlantis site updates!!!!

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 03 Jan 2011 21:57

Some people are asking to have some of these sets shipped to them. What I don't understand is why you would want them shipped to you. You have the instructions and you can find all of the pieces either on bricklink or order them directly from Lego.

Posted by iabstract in United States, 04 Jan 2011 20:41

So how do you get the Brickmaster set then, if one can no longer subscribe to BM, aside from paying eBay prices? I hope that the Slave I, as well as the rest of the BM sets, will also be offered through whatever replaces BM, since that seems pretty lame for those of us whose subscriptions expired but were unable to renew.

Posted by Divinity3d in United States, 04 Jan 2011 23:13

STOP MAKING Country Exclusive sets... Please! Yea thats my rant. We all want all the Lego equally. Hugs to my fellow Afols who feel left out as well!

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 05 Jan 2011 08:24

@Divinity3d - that's one of the issues I've already fed back via the Ambassador programme. :-)

Posted by mutley777 in United Kingdom, 05 Jan 2011 17:24

I thought things were changing when the brickmaster AT-TE and Republic Gunship were available on shop@home. However the last 3 Star Wars B.M sets have now had to be Bricklink buys and that is not a cheap way of doing things!! Come on TLC, put these sets on shop@home!

Posted by blazetrooper501 in United States, 05 Jan 2011 19:51

I wonder if the star wars sets are going to be sets you need to order the pieces for like the mini tank droid in 2005.

Posted by redpenguin in United States, 09 Jan 2011 18:36

cool! i made my own, but used parts for action figure size republic attack tank! the frameworks done!
