I apologize for the delay in getting this nice sale posted, but better late than never, right?  :o)  Through Saturday 2/19, Toys R Us is selling the Jedi Shuttle (7931), Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship (7930), The Battle of Naboo (7929), and the V-Wing Starfighter (7915) for 25% Off the normal Toys R Us price.  The resulting discount ends up somewhere between 18% and 21% Off MSRP so it's a pretty good deal, especially since these sets are relatively new.  Additionally, all other LEGO Star Wars sets are 10% Off the normal Toys R Us price but this mostly just wipes out their own markup.  That being said, they have not yet marked up The Battle for Geonosis (7869) or the Clone Trooper Battlepack (7913) so those are indeed a straight up 10% Off.

Toys R Us does indeed mark up the sets incredibly high. Combine that with the LEGO-initiated price hike from 2008, and you can see why Toys R Us isn't my favorite place to shop for sets. Still, they do have a great selection. Thanks for the news!

They actually have the Battle Packs and The Battle for Geonosis? Because I would like those both, but our local one doesn't have either. To the LEGO store!

I don't think TRU stocks Battle for Geonosis!? Never saw it on their website with the other new starwars sets and it's marked 'Hard to Find' at Lego.com.

@Ypres- TRU does stock the Battle for Geonosis, it is a TRU exclusive.

Battle for Geonosis has been at the TRU closer to me but the larger one thats roughly an hour away doen't seem to have it. Its quite a mystery. This is on TRU's website, at least when I checked a day or so ago.

I picked up the T-6, V wing and Bounty hunter sets for just a little over a 100 with free shipping.

I don't have a LEGO store near me.

@Ypres+Pepper: Found 6 or 7 at the only Toysrus in Waco, and I checked back a few weeks later and they still had most of them. @Vengocore: You forgot about the mark-up by Toysrus.

Where can you get the new mace set?

Posted by Pepper in United States, 18 Feb 2011 23:03

@lincoln6echo: It is not available in the US at the moment. It is a summer release in the US. When it becomes available, it will be a Walmart exclusive.

It really amazes me how TRU can have all these sales and not run out of legos.

Posted by Pepper in United States, 20 Feb 2011 17:27

They didn't have the Battle for Geonosis or Bounty Hunter Gunship I went there for, instead I picked up the T-6 shuttle, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I sure am glad that I didn't pay full retail price for it. They also had Ambush in Cairo for $10, which I bought 2 of. There are still 2 of them left as of yesterday, as well as Cannon Battle and Kraken Attackin for normal retail price at the West Towne Mall in Madison, WI.

It's a pretty good set , One of the mane reasons I got it was because Captin Rex comes with it.
