There are several deals this week at Toys R Us, most notably Buy One, Get One 50% Off LEGO Series 3 Minifigures.  While it's great that the average minifigure price subsequently drops to $2.25, it also seems to reaffirm that we could start seeing Series 4 Minifigures at TRU very soon.

Also, they are extending last week's deals where (1) you receive a free "My First LEGO" set  (5932) with a LEGO construction set purchase of  $50 or more; (2) Buy One, Get One 50% Off Bionicle sets normally $8.99 or $9.99; and (3) 30% Off the normal TRU price for the AT-AT (8129), Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship (7930) and Slave I (8097).

Lastly, you can receive a FREE Bionicle All Stars sets when you buy any two Hero Factory construction sets.  Click here to buy now.

Not a bad deal on the S3, if your local TRU has them in stock. Other than that, other sales are nothing special.

they keep putting the same star wars sets on sale. i already own the AT-AT and Slave I, and have no interest in the bounty hunter gunship. i wish they would put something else on sale

My TRU never has any minifigs! :(

The last one really angers me. I don't care how many BIONICLE sets I get, I am never going to buy those Hero Factory sets. That's a low blow, trying to make us buy HF sets to get BIONICLE sets.

Also, they are BIONICLE Stars, not all-stars, just to point out.

I still need the cyborg, basebal player, and elf from series 3. This is a good way for me to get them... Anyone know when series 4 is coming out?

@joeyzbrown: I've heard that the official release date is April 1st but they Series 4's might be available early in Toys R Us or some other shops like that...

The official release date for series 4 according to the April calendar is April 15th.

Also I asked at customer service at TRU and they said that they got a memo saying the new Legos will be delayed, but said to call tomorrow because their Lego rep will be in.

I have never seen minifigures at any of the 3 TRU stores in the Portland, OR area... Whereas they are all restocking Ambush at Cairo (7195) as if they found a huge back stock of that Indiana Jones item in a warehouse somewhere.

What's the difference between hero factory and bionicle? They all look the same to me, never got into either one.

My TRU has none neither! Luckily the nearby Lego store, surprisingly, still has a whole box worth. Got me the Tennis and Baseball guy.

In response to LegoCity578 and any others who have the same problem of TRU's lack of minifigures, I spotted a case in a Barnes & Noble bookstore in my area, maybe you could find some there. Thanks for the sale update!

@wiredforsound: TRU Jantzen beach had 2 new cases...they keep behind the customer service counter. I was there yesterday afternoon. good luck!

@ teal93mr2 - Kinda wish someone would explain the difference to me too! When I was young I got the first bionicles they had moving arms... not sure if that's important or not. Though I personally like the designs better for hero factory, although to my untrained eye it looks like both follow the same direction. Bionicle for me became a turnoff when they started pooping out all these remakes and touch-ups of the same guys I owned. After that I watched as the theme inflated itself to weird directions. Either way based on what I saw you were crazy if you didn't just wait for the bionicles to go on sale.

For all those people in CANADA TRU has sales on Hero Factory (etc), Pharaoh's Quest, Board games, and Bricks'Nmore. http://www.toysrus.ca/category/index.jsp?categoryId=3590462

@wiredforsound: Yeah I've picked up 4 Ambush in Cairo sets at 2 different TRUs in the past week. I was a bit puzzled because the other 2 Indy sets I got this year were both just after New Years. I saw Canal Chase and Jungle Cutter in a returns cart behind the counter.

teal93mr2- It would take too long to point out the differences between them, but BIONICLE is far better, to keep it short.
