Wow, $30 bucks for a free Collectible Minifigure!! That should be changed to $20, bad marketing. So 20% off, let's see what the new prices would be:

Mandalorian Battle Pack: $11.99 (was $14.99)
Clone Trooper Battle Pack: $11.99 (was $14.99)
Creator Dune Hopper: $10.39 (was $12.99)
Creator Mini Digger: $4.79 (was $5.99)
Off-Road Fire Rescue: Doesn't Show Up Online
Police Helicopter: $10.39 (was $12.99)
Police Minifigure Collection: $7.99 (was $9.99)

Wow, good thing Target's having a sale on the Mandalorian Battle Pack!

My target here in Redlands, Ca has had the helicopter for $9.99 for months, it would be funny to go in and see SALE next to it and the price is higher. Glad I already got it for the lower price. I think I will go pick up the Police Minifigure Collection (7279) I was gonna skip that set, but 2 bucks off makes it seem worth it. thanks guys

I went to the lego store (Rockafeller center) to find that the packs are now 3.49 each. Anyone else notice this?

Posted by bmuscat in United States, 10 Apr 2011 16:44

Just about everything at Rockefeller Center is more expensive. About the only deal you find there is the Pick-A-Brick buckets.

The LEGO Store at Rockefeller Center has nearly everything at a 10% markup.
1-tourist trap
2-prime real estate means HIGH rent
3-Toys R Us Times Square close by and LEGO doesn't want to step on their business partner's toes. TRU Times Square also has issues 1 and 2 to deal with plus they are TRU after all so they automatically MUST jack the prices up just for being TRU!

My Target, (in marietta, georgia) has had a bunch of 5974 Galactic Enforcers for about 50 percent off, for a couple months now.

@bmwlego
I live in San Diego, CA and was just visiting NYC for school. So I Can't join NY LUG.
Here in SD we have Legoland and unfortunatly its about 1 and a half hours away so I don't go very often so I was unaware of prices at the Lego stores.
