sounds great! I hope that they will make more sets in either late 2011 of 2012

Posted by natro220 in United States, 17 May 2011 12:22

@alexfig8 - Doubtful, as this is the last movie and the sets coming out are based on it. I don't know what else they would make that hasn't already been done before, maybe a Hogsmead?

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 12:56

@natro220 - The may begin to re-make sets from the 2001-2007 run; That's what Star Wars does every year.

Posted by ThisIsMyCup in United States, 17 May 2011 12:58

i really want that mushroom piece from the forbidden forest!!

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 13:15

John Lewis has the sets in stock (watford branch)

Posted by Matthew in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 13:23

@aquafreak123 The new ones? *sceptic*

Posted by voyanui8768 in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 13:26

@aquafreak125 - Do you remember what the prices were? I'm guessing they're the same numbers as the American prices, just with a £ sign wacked on front - that's what most sets are like at the moment :( I would get the set titled "Hogwarts" (although I thought it was going to be called "Battle For Hogwarts") if it was around £30. It would look great attatched to the Hogwarts set from last year...

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 17 May 2011 13:35

I can't wait for the Forbidden Forest. BTW they are available for pre order on TRU's website.

Posted by macmon in Philippines, 17 May 2011 14:02

Lego USA is offering free shipping over 75 PLUS a Poster. Now the question is what is the poster?

Posted by vpustote in United States, 17 May 2011 14:17

@macmon, the poster is of Pirates of the Caribbean. And if you read the fine print on Lego.com, you will find that the free poster doesn't come with the $75 free shipping deal, it comes with any purchase of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Posted by brix in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 14:20

It might sound dumb but who is the woman with this set because i thought it was the scene from film 1

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 17 May 2011 14:47

It is Narcissa Malfoy!!! Awesome price for what you get!!

Posted by Matthew in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 14:51

@ brix It is the scent from DH Part 2, where Harry and Voldemort duel, and 'the woman' is Narcissa Malfoy

Posted by brix in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 15:07

@LegoCoastGuard oh, that makes sense now, thanks (it's been a long time since i read the book) how come voldemort doesn't come with a wand then???

Posted by voyanui8768 in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 15:15

@brix - I think he's meant to me shooting those blue flames. And I think that the play feature is meant to be where Voldemort uses "the force" to launch Harry. As you can tell, I'm not really into Harry potter, more Star Wars :D

Im going to Watford tomorrow will try and check out JL if I have time.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 17 May 2011 16:33

According to the catalogue you can combine Hogwarts with Hogwarts Castle to make a bigger setup.

Posted by Natotron1979 in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 16:59

No free shipping in the UK? Anyone know what/when the next online Lego shop offer will be?

Posted by Greyface in United States, 17 May 2011 17:32

Yes!

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 17 May 2011 17:51

@LegoCoastGuard: YOU'RE YELLOW!!! :D YOU'RE A MODERATOR NOW!!! :D

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 17:57

^ Yes, he is helping keep the Info area clear of rubbish.

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 17 May 2011 17:58

@Alemas: Dude. Really. :P Do we need to celebrate? :P

I have to say, these sets are pretty neat. Hogwarts would look gorgeous next to Hogwarts Castle, and the inclusion of Neville, Lupin, Goyle, and Sprout is plain awesome. The Forbidden Tree- erm, Forest is neat looking, but I have all of those figs already minus Narcissa Malfoy. Knight Bus looks cool too. Man, I need to find ways to make money if I wanna get this, Alien Conquest, AND Pet Shop...

@Huw: So he's the cleaner, then? :) :P

Posted by The Guy With The Bricks in United States, 17 May 2011 18:06

Do we know if the new Battle of Hogwarts is designed to connect to the recent Hogwarts set? It looks like it is, but I wonder what they would look like together.

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 17 May 2011 18:10

@crzypainter: Yup, they most certainly are. Though I think you need to make your own connector- the set has none.

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 17 May 2011 18:24

@LegoCoastGuard - Congrats on becoming the 'cleaner'.

Posted by Greyface in United States, 17 May 2011 18:30

@TooMuchLEGO - I saw that too! I think a connector will be included, but it has not been included in photos for cosmetic reasons. I hope its included...

Posted by TBOC in United States, 17 May 2011 19:07

WHAT! I have to wait till the end of May! I was hoping they weren't gonna be released until then! I wanted t go buy them all at once!

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 18 May 2011 01:59

Yes the new ones are in stock, I only had time to check out the forbidden forest set..it was around £10 or £10.49

Posted by vpustote in United States, 18 May 2011 08:05

If it doesn't come with the black connectors, and you don't have an extra two just lying around... let me know, I will personally mail two to you. I have so many lying around that were just spares, it's ridiculous.

Has anyone put together the new 8070-1: Super Car? That had two huge bags of only black connectors.

Posted by Si_Dorking_Surrey in New Zealand, 18 May 2011 09:37

I'm currently sitting on Watford Junction platform, having been to John Lewis in Watford, and can confirm that they are indeed on the shelves. I'm not that keen to get them myself so I didn't buy one, but they're definitely there; they had 4865, 4866, 4867 (lots) but I didnt see either 30110 or 30111 (not that I'd have expected to).

In other circumstances would have just bought one of each ot prove it, but it's been a madly expensive few months lately lego-wise.

I'll PM DrDaveWatford in the wild guess that he's more local and might want to get one of each ..

Posted by aresze in Australia, 18 May 2011 11:30

wish the price not like 10217 in australia

Posted by Greyface in United States, 18 May 2011 16:02

@vpustote - If you don't have Hogwarts Castle, you wouldn't know what we're talking about. Both sets are connected by these nice little door things, not standard black connectors.

Posted by TBOC in United States, 18 May 2011 17:12

I hope they do, cause pick-a-brick doesnt have all those pieces, and if they did it, would cost too much.

Posted by vpustote in United States, 18 May 2011 17:34

@Greyface, you mean this piece?

The one that attaches to this piece:

Posted by Greyface in United States, 18 May 2011 20:08

@vpustote - No. It's not a single piece, its about 10 or so. Its not just a functional connector, its a cosmetic connector as well. Just look at a picture of Hogwarts Castle (the newest ones) and look between the buildings, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Posted by vpustote in United States, 18 May 2011 21:10

@Greyface, I know what you mean. I have the set. I would assume the newest set is built to connect right onto the end of the Hogwarts and will include the bending section just like the others.

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 19 May 2011 06:41

I can confirm that John Lewis does have these as I picked some up today in the Norwich branch

Posted by Berrybrick in United States, 20 May 2011 06:35
