Cars 2 checklist

Now that Cars 2 sets are available in most places now, if you're collecting them you might be interested in these excellent checklists that show every character and what sets they come in.

I originally thought someone has created these, but apparently they come in the sets.

I had vowed not to buy Cars sets, but having seen these lists, plus the fact they are now in TRU and Argos in the UK, I might just change my mind...

Wonderful. Except that the Cars 2 set I bought came with a checklist that showed every character and what sets they come in.

Ah, OK, so this comes comes in the sets? Thanks for the clarification. That wasn't clear at the source article.

^^Which set was it in? I bought one of the individual car sets (Lightning) to try out the theme, and it didn't have one.

I think it would be cool to create a minifig-like collection tracker for all the various Cars sets.

8426 Escape At Sea - it's in the last couple of pages of the instructions. Actually I thought it was a nice inclusion, especially for kids. I didn't mean to denigrate the work done to create a checklist, just to point out that there was a checklist in the set :)

^Ah-I thought of that, but the set I had contained only two sets in the back of the instructions. I guess how many they include in the instructions depends on its size.

It is also in the instruction booklet of Tokyo International Circuit.

This checklist seems to have a few errors though:

* It's missing several of the cars from the large Tokyo set
* It says that Luigi and pitty(?) are only available in one set, but they are in both the large tokyo set and tokyo pit stop (Luigi is slightly different though, different accessory)
* The same applies to Tokyo McQueen and Francesca, it misses that they are available in a smaller set together
* And it also misses the 30121 promo, but I suppose it's understandable as it'll be available in a very limited release

Could someone tell me if Holley Shiftwell is pink or purple or if she comes in two colors. The pictures are confusing.

It was in the back of instruction book in 8423 - World Grand Prix Racing Rivalry

@ refriedbeans - Holley Shiftwell is, in the film, fuchsia. She's more of a hot pink in the LEGO sets and a metallic purple on her die-cast release.
