    Valid this Wednesday (6/8) and Thursday (6/9) only, Toys R Us is running a Buy One, Get One 50% Off promotion for all LEGO City and DUPLO sets.  As always, be sure to buy similarly priced sets in order to maximize the discount.  The promotion is valid both online and in-store and most if not all current City sets are in stock online, including both trains and the new Summer sets.  Additionally, nearly all of these sets are still listed at MSRP.  Here is a link to the flyer.

    Note: For some reason, the new Police Station isn't flagged for this promotion online but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't register.

Dang! I just went to TRU yesterday and bought the '4641: Speed Boat' set along with a few other sets. Thus, now I can only afford to buy the '4642: Fishing Boat' set and get the '3365: Space Moon Buggy' which will only save me $2.50 so I'll have to pass. Now if we had this deal on Alien Conquest, then I would spend every last penny.

I was just at Toysryus last week, its about the only thing they never run out of, Lego City. They were already out of all New HP sets but one Knight Bus I bought.

Lego City is my least favorite theme. I am a bit perplexed how they continue to set a new "police station" or "fire truck" year after year. Besides money is short because it is YARD SALE season and I am hitting gold every Saturday; over 100 lbs high grade Legos for less than $200 so far.

Really? I just went to TRU last week and bought the speed boat, fishing boat, satellite launch pad, space shuttle, police boat, and bank and money transfer. Now they have a sale on! I could of saved a lot of money! But now I can buy the Marina and Harbour, or the new train sets. I like when these sales go on.

I also got a "Today Only" June 8th coupon for $10 off $75 or more. This was in my email, and pretty sure it was there for being a "R us" Rewards Member. :)

The police station rang up correctly at the store as included in the offer, no intervention required. appears to be an online-only problem.
