    Valid Sunday 7/17 through Saturday 7/23, Toys R Us is running yet another BOGO 50% Off sale, this time on all Star Wars, Harry Potter, Creator, Technic and Duplo construction sets.  The sale is already live online and a number of great sets are available including, but not limited to, the Death Star, Tantive IV, Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, Ewok Attack, Fire Brigade, Emerald Night, and Geonosian Fighter.  For some reason, the Grand Emporium is not registering the sale but you might be able to get TRU Customer Service to credit you back after the purchase should you feel daring.  :o) 

    Additionally this week, you will receive a free Snowman or Christmas Tree polybag with any LEGO construction set purchase of $30 or more.  As usual though, this "secondary' promotion does not appear to be stacking online with the BOGO sale. 

    As always, try to buy similary priced sets in order to maximize the discount and don't forget that you receive free shipping with any purchase of $75 or more.

Just checked TRU online, they have Tower Bridge, Grand Emporium, Fire Brigade, Shuttle, Emerald Night and Hillside House available right now.

At this point, it would be easier to document what is "not" currently available.......Millennium Falcon, Darth Maul's Fighter, Echo Base, and Republic Frigate.

This would be great if the TRU that I work at in NJ had any of the new SW sets. A truck comes in on Wednesday, so I hope they're in there.

I wish they would include city or alien conquest in the sale, planning on getting tripod invader and satellite launch pad with my money from watching sister (i have $28 right now gunna have probably $40 total).

"Update" The 8081 doesn't qualify for the Promo. Isn't that a technic set? Leave it to TRU.

One other thing, My local TRU was offering an additional 25% off their clearance items. Which equals to great savings on some last minute clearance Legos like Power miner, Space Police other already clearance items. The clearance price stacks in with the Bogo sale...at least mine store did.

Grand Emporium is NOT part of this sale (at least it was not last night)... ahh saw the Yellowcastle put that in there
If your browser does not show the sale that means you have to close and reopen your browser.. ALSO the sale is not the big thing, it is that free tree..
When you look at the 'other deals' for the item you will see the BOGO listed...

Scored two Death Stars and two Tower Bridges - unbelievable. Between this and getting the BOGO stacked with 20% off on Cars 2 sets a couple of weeks ago, it looks like TRU has figured out how to finally have incredible sales. If only my credit card would stop screaming...

This is a great sale, got 7956 Ewok Attack and 7957 Sith Nightspeeder for well under $50. Now just have to wait till Wednesday to hopefully get some more for better deals!

Visited 2 Toysrus stores in NoVa and each store had all the current applicable and non-direct sets except the hillside house.

@camaro365 it clearly says Technic on the box. Perhaps it is too new??? However, 8109 (The $100 flatbed truck which is the newest item they have) and 8071 (The $50 bucket truck) are BOGOs, so.........

Called Sunnyvale TRU and Winchester TRU (both CA), both DO NOT have the new sets. Why are they really slow at getting new sets these days??

Great sale. It is very prudent to wait for a sale at TRU due to their relatively higher price on licensed sets compared to other places. I picked up an AT-AT(finally) and the new Podracer set.

I just came from my local TRU and they had the sale, but no new sets that I'm looking for. On their sign, the sale started on 07/17 and ends 07/24.

Just got the HOTH ECHO BASE 7879 for $71.24 each. TRU is now back instock (Online) with this set. I checked around 2 hours ago and it wasn't instock, but they are now.

Looks like TRU is limiting the qty you can order. I just added 2 Falcons to my shopping cart and it knocked the quantity down to 1 and displayed a message about maximum order quantity. (I was able to order 2 yesterday and get a discount on the 2nd.) It looks like you can NOT double up on the same item, because had I the same result when I added 2 Emporiums to my cart. But, was able to add 1 Falcon and 1 Emporium to my cart and get the discount on the 2nd item, which works because both happen to be $150 each.
