Lego Discovery Centre in Downtown Disney, Lake Buena Vista, FL still has Series 3 & 4 available.

Posted by Talas Antares in United States, 14 Aug 2011 12:43

TRU in Appleton, WI does not yet have them. Manager said expected within the next two weeks.

Posted by chantastic in United States, 14 Aug 2011 13:25

TRU in Hawthorne, CA had nearly one full case as of Saturday night 8/13. No limit. They were selling them for $3.49, though. This TRU is notorious for marking things up even higher than the normal TRU markup.

Posted by Redbricker in United States, 14 Aug 2011 14:48

I found series 5 in TRU in atlanta georgia

Posted by robb in United States, 14 Aug 2011 14:56

The map appears to be messed up. When I just looked, Ft Collins CO appears to be near La Paz, MX and California shows up in Alaska, SK, and Maine. Is the map faulty or are these errors the result of users' misplacing of the markers?

Posted by goengar in United States, 14 Aug 2011 15:04

Anything in Washington State???

Posted by brankell5566 in Canada, 14 Aug 2011 15:21

Has anyone found them in Canada?

Posted by LEGOSLUG in New Zealand, 14 Aug 2011 15:23

Does anyone know if the series 5 Minifigures will be availible in New Zealand?
Please let me know!!

Posted by legogeek in United States, 14 Aug 2011 15:56

As far as the US locations, the map is totally messed up with pins being in the wrong locations by hundreds or thousands of miles...

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 14 Aug 2011 16:16

Thank you @legocoastguard, now corrected :-)

Posted by spency13 in United States, 14 Aug 2011 16:30

Checked my local TRU in Yuma, AZ and found none. They still have 3 & 4 and said 5 will be there on Thursday.

Posted by Zrath in United States, 14 Aug 2011 18:02

If you zoom in, the pins in the US are all in the right places.
N00BS! :D

Posted by Zordboy in Australia, 14 Aug 2011 20:06

New Zealand? Darn. But they'd have to either be in Australia or close.

Posted by sinfanti in Taiwan, Province of China, 14 Aug 2011 21:08

Zrath, I think some of the non-US pins are in the wrong spots. I strongly doubt there was an open but complete box in the middle of the Brazilian rain forest on Aug. 8.

Posted by legofan6206 in United States, 14 Aug 2011 21:17

Has anyone seen them in louisville, Kentucky?

Posted by legogeek in United States, 14 Aug 2011 23:25

@Zrath no, they aren't. And I'm not a NOOB ;-P
I live in So Cal, and I know Torrance isn't in Oklahoma, and San Jose isn't in Saskatchewan, Canada. When you click the pins on the left with city names, you get a bad lesson in geography.

Posted by Dodge in Canada, 14 Aug 2011 23:54

@brankell5566 I've checked in at the Wal-Mart that seems to get them before anyone else in town and nothing so far. It would seem that we get them up here about a month after I read them available in the UK.

@legogeek I WISH San Jose was here in Saskatchewan! We'd fianlly have an NHL team! That pin really did get my hopes up though...

Posted by legogirl19 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 00:04

The Phoenix AZ TRU had them this morning but someone had bought them all before I got there! Guess I'll have to wait 'til next shipment!

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 00:27

@legogirl19: which Phoenix store? Arrowhead says they aren't getting in until Tuesday at the earliest and the Dunlap store is closing and moving to 3rd St and Greenway.

Posted by xymox in United States, 15 Aug 2011 00:48

@dodge haha the sharks finally have sound D they won't be leaving from our beloved San Jose anytime soon :P

but darn i wish i knew about this or i'd have gotten off my tussie and checked out the SJ TRU :( does any body know if the lego store close to the tru has them ?

Posted by Zrath in United States, 15 Aug 2011 00:57

Ah, okay, I'm seeing the ones in the wrong places now. I looked at a few pins initially and they were correct.
How strange.

I checked one of my two local TRUs, which is on La Cienega near the 10 freeway in the Westside of L.A. and sucks, and of course they didn't have Series 5 minifigs.
When they get them, they will probably put a 3-minifig limit on them, like they always do.
I didn't check my other local TRU, which is in Culver City where Sepulveda and Jefferson merge, because that one sucks even more than the La Cienega TRU.

BUT I'M NOT BITTER! :D

Posted by legogirl19 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 02:38

@starfire2: The TRU by Paradise Valley Mall approx. Tatum & Cactus.

Posted by Brickfinger in New Zealand, 15 Aug 2011 02:51

LEGOSLUG- they've been in New Zealand since last Friday. Plus if you turn on your contact thing people can contact you...

Posted by ETAV8R in United States, 15 Aug 2011 05:06

How can a TRU mark up the price? Aren't they obligated to the online price? I'm glad I don't have Nazi TRUs near me.

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 15 Aug 2011 05:28

Some idiot by the name of 'James' has been maliciously editing the locations of some of the sightings - one of the Milton Keynes sightings had been moved to the Middle East, the other to eastern Germany. The one in South America was supposed to be in High Wycombe in the UK, but this 'James' thought it would be funny to vandalise the map. A load of the others have been moved too; I'd suggest anyone that has added to the map check that their entry hasn't been vandalised.

Posted by TheImmortalPlatypus in United Kingdom, 15 Aug 2011 07:34

That editor is giving the name "James" a bad reputation! Anyway, I've added a pin to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, where I found them in WHSmith.

Posted by legofan6206 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 10:05

I went to TRU the other day and they didn't have them. THe manager said they would most likely be in today or tuesday.

Posted by spency13 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 10:09

Whoa, I didn't even realize some stores made a limit!! MY local TRU (which'll get 'em Thursday) doesn't care what the *bleep* I do!!

Posted by jackmcar99 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 11:35

according to the sales clerk on the phone at the HUNTINGTON BEACH TOYS'R'US, they had some but, im beyond sick of the limit 5 per customer thats just asking us to give them less business because they want there to be enough for everyone, im planning on spending 80.00 on these so just let me get the ones i want. i sorta understand the limit, but come on, when you have 8 of the minifigures boxes stacked behind the counter!!!!????

Posted by Carnigee77 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 12:25

There should be markers on the map for places people have checked but found none. They could have the date on them so people know how old they are.

Posted by Carnigee77 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 12:26

Oh, and has anyone even attempted a dot code sheet or is it just not possible.

Posted by xcrossx in United Kingdom, 15 Aug 2011 13:19

For anyone in the UK Tesco now has them in stock @ £1.97 and I found a couple that had totally different bumps to the ones I had got from WHSmith!

Posted by legogeek in United States, 15 Aug 2011 13:26

@jackmcar99
Hey, that's the TRU near me. Leave me a few bags will ya! Guess I'll stop by after work. :oD

Posted by minifig051 in United States, 15 Aug 2011 13:48

I'll be sure to check my local TRU soon. I hope they have them.

Posted by madforLEGO in United States, 15 Aug 2011 13:50

Got my box off of eBay, have to wait a bit for them, but I can wait.. and no limit 5 per person garbage.

I'm through trying to run to three different TRU's looking for a box of these when the stores open, when I know they will be readily available in excess at TRUS for the next 2-3 months and I can get any spares then.

Posted by commodorelegolas in United States, 15 Aug 2011 17:40

None in here yet. :(

Posted by Galactico in Germany, 16 Aug 2011 09:09

I had saw a box in the ABC Market in Varkaus, Finland!

Posted by legogeek in United States, 16 Aug 2011 10:57

Picked some up at the H.B. CA store, The box was almost cleaned out. Only bought 5, but I think I could have grabbed more - the sales clerk didn't seem to think there was a limit.

I've got a $5 TRU coupon so will buy more when a new box hits the shelf.

Posted by TimothySRossi in United States, 16 Aug 2011 13:12

TRU has them in Concord, NC. I just bought a box.

Posted by chantastic in United States, 16 Aug 2011 14:24

2 boxes at Culver City, CA TRU. $2.99

Posted by brankell5566 in Canada, 16 Aug 2011 18:33

@TimothySRossi How much did it cost to buy a full box of 60?

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 16 Aug 2011 18:45

I found them at 75th ave and W Bell in Phoenix AZ. They had 2 boxes. I unopened and one picked through. I bought 20. They said there was no limit. I was tempted to get a box, so I wasn't standing at their customer service counter looking like and idiot filling up pouches, but decided against it. I want to be fair. I think I got all I wanted but even the feeling method was hard. The clown is the easiest. Just feel for his short legs. I also think the royal guard was easy because you could find his big head piece. BTW they also had Lego Star Wars advent calendars for $39.99

Posted by coolpix in United States, 16 Aug 2011 19:44

Went to Coral Springs, FL and Boca Raton, FL TRUs today and they had none. Not even Series 4 anymore. As far as Series 5, one of the employees told me this series will be available in October???? I know they are know to be completely clueless... but this was too far in the future when plenty of TRUs across the country already have them.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 16 Aug 2011 20:34

Ok. I opened mine and was 90% accurate. I ended up with 3 zookeepers, 2 cave women, dwarf and gangster as my extras. I mistook the short legs on the dwarf for a clown. As for the others, I think it was because I just grabbed a few more bags at random before I checked out.

Posted by TimothySRossi in United States, 16 Aug 2011 20:59

I paid $2.99 ea. It was $179 and some change. I was surprised that they let me buy the whole box. They got 3 in today. The box contained 3 full sets and a few extras. I was happy with that.

Posted by BooMakuta! in United States, 16 Aug 2011 21:50

I'm getting tired of collectable minifigures...now, a Star Wars: The Clone Wars one would definitely offer some novelty. Just imagine all the ideas! My ideas are:

-Robonino
-Ahsoka (Season 3)
-Osi Sobeck
-Mother Talzin
-Tons of clones: Slick, Thire, Chopper, Stone, Ponds, Argyus, Hotshot, Fives, Echo, Rys and Jek, just to name a few.
-Riyo Chuchi

I really hope TLG does make a Star Wars: The Clone Wars collectable minifigures theme, because there are thousands of characters to choose from.

Posted by ifixedurvw in United States, 16 Aug 2011 22:10

Got an email from 5 Below today saying they had them in stock at $2.99 each. Stopped off at the Quakertown, PA store and they had 4 boxes buy the register. Just FYI, I wouldn't buy a full case at 5 Below, they're always opened and never have the assortment of a sealed box.

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 16 Aug 2011 23:56

Scored 34 yeaterday at 2.99 plus tax and then scored a full box today. Yesterday they were at the front counter. Today they were out on the floor.

Just by feeling the bags you should have no problem finding the soldier and warrior. Just based on the helmets. The other ones are pretty easy as well if you have the time. In my opinion the best thing is to just take a pair of scissors are the best.

Posted by native1 in United States, 17 Aug 2011 10:15

@AZFIREWOLF where did you happen to find your mini figs? Was it at TRU or another store?
Thanks!

Posted by xymox in United States, 17 Aug 2011 12:45

has any body found them in the fremont/san jose, CA area ? and why aren't they on the lego shop page ?

Posted by cflyg in United States, 17 Aug 2011 13:06

Found them at the TRU in Layton, Utah. They just had an arrival of several boxes this morning (August 17). $2.99 each.

Posted by brickeater100 in United States, 17 Aug 2011 15:17

they are avalible at five below also

Posted by blomper in United States, 18 Aug 2011 00:54

Legoland = Carlsbad, CA, Now has the Series 5, also when you are there, they will trade Minifigures, from their name tag, with you. You can trade any minifigure with them and they have to trade with you. They are not allowed to say no.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 18 Aug 2011 08:13

Please use the member contact system to discuss trades, this isn't an appropriate place to do so.

Posted by spency13 in United States, 18 Aug 2011 21:11

Purchased all 16 at my local TRU in Yuma, AZ!!!!

Posted by Texslot in United States, 19 Aug 2011 01:07

I purchased all 16 at my local TRU in Dallas, TX. I love the Gladiator helmet, it has really great details. I actually think the boxer was the easiest to feel because of his gloves on the body. Overall, I think this is one of the better series.

Posted by Morgan19 in United States, 19 Aug 2011 08:45

Has anyone found the "code" to call up the main TRU line and have them check for stock in the area?

Posted by ggauge in United States, 19 Aug 2011 11:22

Bought a full box from TRU in North Charleston, SC today.

I saw a box serie 3, 4, and 5 ad marskramer nistelrode netherlands

Posted by brixton in Canada, 22 Aug 2011 12:44

@JDLego
I have not seen them in Canada yet. Not to worry though, when they do show up they'll be at pretty much every toy store. I just hope the stores don't mark them up to $3.49 or $3.99 like they did with series 4. Many stores still have multiple boxes of series 4.

Posted by ncbarrett in United States, 22 Aug 2011 13:51

now available on s@h for US and CAN

Posted by JDLego in Canada, 22 Aug 2011 16:43

FINALLY! went to my local wal-mart today to pick up a laptop, but they were out of stock, so being all sad walking down the Lego isle I saw 7 Box`s of Series 5, my heart raced, I bought 11 cause i only had $40, they cost $3.68 for 1, cost me $33.60 for all 11, and it was a good pick, i didnt feel i just picked and ran to the cash, got out and opened them all, it was a good find, I got the boxer, the detective, the egyptian queen, the gladitor, the graduate, the grenadier guard, the small viking, and the lumberjack, then got 3 doubles being the boxer, grenadier guard, and detective. I was so happy though, now i got 8 and gotta get 8 more, cant wait to go back!!! :)

Posted by spency13 in United States, 22 Aug 2011 19:46

Ok, JDlego, where at Walmart have you seen these? I keep hearing about the CM's at Walmarts, but I have never seen any at my local one!

BTW, JDlego, it's a Dwarf Warrior, not a small viking. Just FYI

Posted by minifignick in United Kingdom, 23 Aug 2011 06:00

Anyone in the Plymouth (UK) area check out Whoopee (On the map) The staff are brilliant each bag has been carefully felt and labelled bought a full set there Now off to get some more of my favourites

Posted by minifig051 in United States, 23 Aug 2011 12:23

@ spency13: I found Series 3 at my local Wal-Mart last December. They were in the Lego aisle. I haven't seen any other ones at that Wal-Mart since. I got Series 4 and 5 at the same TRU. JDLego is in Canada, so we don't know if they'll be in any US Wal-Marts. TRU is the most likely place right now.

Posted by modena in Italy, 23 Aug 2011 15:16

I need to find out how to use that map! And how to add a location!

Posted by suckerpunch83 in Canada, 23 Aug 2011 17:20

Found 4 boxes of series 5 at WalMart in Mississauga, Ontario. The unit price was $3.28 a piece. bought a box of 60.
Good luck!

Posted by JDLego in Canada, 23 Aug 2011 21:41

@spency13- I got them at the Wal-mart super centre in Niagara Falls, and some Wal-marts dont carry them, only the super centre`s usually do, but I know right, its weird, usually i would go to the states to get lego, but they didnt have them at the local wal-mart and target I go too, and thanks for letting me know about the Dwarf Warrior, I would have never known seeing how these just came out.

@suckerpunch- Congrats on the find.

Each minifigure costs €2.49.
