First comment! They look okay, the phantoka look like insects, don't really like that.

Sorry for the double post but does anyone know if these new sets each have their own matoran that comes with them (like tanma and lewa)?

Posted by BlackRabbit in Canada, 26 Jun 2008 11:07

yea!!!!8) ,why dont the mistika have real weapons because all i can see is some blaster thing

Posted by BlackRabbit in Canada, 26 Jun 2008 11:07

Posted by LegoMan128 in United States, 26 Jun 2008 11:23

sweet, are they going to be $10 eack like the phantoka?or like $5?

Posted by BrickManiac, 26 Jun 2008 13:25

YEEEAAAHHH!!! THEY'RE HERE!!!! (I'm a big Bionicle fan)The only bad thing is they're $13 each. :(

Posted by Gus263 in Brazil, 26 Jun 2008 13:44

I like these sets, altough are really expensive (more than before, the sets from the Bionicle theme are getting expensive altough several sets don't have much new things, with few exceptions). About the Makuta, I think that they're cool, but much simple, for example Krika and Gorast. Bitil is really cool, but still much simple. And about the Toa, I like the silver color, but I think the toa could have more weapons, the Onua's weapon is odd, Tahu's weapons isn't great like the magma swords, and Gali have a odd mask and don't have weapons, only a Nynrah ghostblaster. Also, the Mistika sets can "team up" with the matoran, like the Phantoka do, but none new matoran will be released, except new titans (Vultraz and Mazeka). I will maybe buy Tahu, Bitil and Onua, of all the six I think that these are the only that worth $13 really. But they'll be more expensive there in my country, and will come maybe in October. But maybe I'll buy them by another site before october. Personally I like the Mistika toa more than the Phantoka toa.

These are all 13 dollars, yikes! I can put up links to the warrior size sets, or you can head over to BZPower.com to find them. They are pretty much all available for preorder. The weird thing is that the shipping dates are different for the 6 mistika and the vehicles as well as takanuva. So if your eager and want to buy all of them expect different dates...

Posted by newlegoset333 in United States, 26 Jun 2008 18:00

Guys. They do have their own Matoran. The winter Matoran pair with the summer sets. The titans are there too. All but Mazeka and Jetrax T6. You should go onto Bzpower if you want the information.

I just noticed Axalara T9 is the largest lego set ever!Does anybody know the price of vezon and kardas(to compare it with Axalara)?
Axalara T9 79.99 Usd
Rockoh T3 39.99 usd

Posted by mtow~255000 in United States, 26 Jun 2008 22:10

No Axalara isn't the biggest set. In the bionicle universe perhaps but no, it's not. The Starwars Mil. Falcon is infact the largest set that has been produced to date. Still, good deal on these sets, I'm hoping to order them soon. I need to get paid first... Oh and Kardas was 50 dollars I believe.

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 26 Jun 2008 23:51

My mistake,Axalara is the largest bionicle set.I wonder why the mistika are so expensive. Most makuta mistika have less pieces than the phantoka.Only the toa mistika should be 12.99 usd and toa tahu is the largest toa canister set to date with 73 pieces. If my memory is correct from the pics at toy fair, jetrax should be 49.99 usd while mazeka might be 39.99 to 29.99 usd.I wonder how the ghost blasters work? anybody know?

Posted by mtow~255000 in United States, 27 Jun 2008 00:56

It's a pump action gun like the cordak blaster only a single shot though.

Posted by Dragon-fire in United Kingdom, 28 Jun 2008 07:43

all i can say is that i can't wit for them to be available in the UK. I think the makuta are way cooler than the toa this time

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 28 Jun 2008 20:52

wow i like most of the new bionicles, look forward to them

im back for a little while, just updating my sets, im so suprised im still in top ten, with no new reviews for past four or five monthes

About the new battle vehicles, They'll come to US in July, it can be seen now at the S@H, in the Battle Vehicles subtheme (these sets were supposed to be a part of the warriors subtheme, but aren't). But of course, Rockoh T3 and Axalara T9 are for pre order now. My favourite is the Jetrax T6, I'll maybe get this set, but I currently don't know his price and when he'll come in my country. Also, a yellow version of the Jetrax T6 will be released as a store exclusive, but the date of release I don't know yet.

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 29 Jun 2008 22:06

Gus263,where did you get that info? And I have to agree,Jetrax is cool and in the Us he's 50 USD according to toy fair. The makuta are also cool but should be cheaper since some have less pieces than the phantoka. The canisters look much more easier to open since with the phantoka I had to deal with the tape and the top of the canister.Has anybody noticed they look like the mask of life like the one on vezon?

Posted by Kulturkampf in United States, 30 Jun 2008 09:38

I'm looking at S@H every day waiting for Jetrax to be available. As soon as he is, I'm getting him! He is my favorite ever and he is huge for 50 dollars, 21 inches long and 16 inches wide! Does anybody know when he will be available from S@H? I also like the bionicle mistika sets, but I think the Phantoka are better. I do like the red and white guy though, I might get him. But Jetrax is first!

Posted by Gus263 in Brazil, 30 Jun 2008 15:47

water jedi 17, about the new version of the Jetrax T6 (the version with yellow parts), I found it in BZPower, altough you can get more information in the Biosector01 and some images in the Brickshelf. It have no changes with exception of the yellow parts replacing some blue and silver pieces. It will be a store exclusive set, but as I said, I don't know the release date. About the release of the Jetrax in S@H, I think it will come in July for some countries (well, it is really more early than I expected).

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 01 Jul 2008 11:25

I noticed yesterday that Phantoka Vampprah, pohatu,Cirox and kopaka were on sale for 7.98 USD,now they are 12.99 USD(including the ones not on sale)Anybody else notice?

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 04 Jul 2008 21:34

Yes!!!Jetrax T6 is now availible in the US for... you guessed it 50 USD!

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 06 Jul 2008 16:35

Here's some bionicle info I dug up:
according to bioniclepedia mazeka has 159 pieces
according to BZPower Jetrax is yellow because in the story it is superpowered with energy
The yellow jetrax will be availible in target and will ship in late august and early october(bzpower)

Posted by Gus263 in Brazil, 06 Jul 2008 17:39

I like the yellow color version, but maybe it won't come to my country, so, I'll maybe get the Jetrax T6 in the normal blue/silver version. But the price of the yellow and of the blue will still the same of course. Also, now about Mazeka, I think that his vehicle (swamp strider) looks like to be very well builted, but about the matoran, I don't liked it.

Posted by BrickManiac, 09 Jul 2008 18:41

I just got the collection today. They're pretty cool but not really worth $72(I got way to exited on my last post). I also got Vultraz and Takanuva. They're cool to and Takanuva Is huge.

Posted by popchik in United States, 10 Jul 2008 16:56

At first glance these look sweet, but my friend got Gorast, and she does not have much substance for $13. And all of her legs-arms where the same, non-jointed piece used in the Phantoka matoran. All of the Makuta are like that. I might get Krika, but other then that, they just don't look that good to me, the Toa in particular. My-2-Cents

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 14 Jul 2008 00:23

On brickshelf there's a pic of 20005(search the item number) and the klatt(AKA 20005) is one of the rahi absorbed by Miserix in federation of fear on bionicle story.

Posted by Gus263 in Brazil, 25 Jul 2008 18:04

I noticed it. The Klakk will be a "promotional" set packaged with a Brickmaster issue (I don't know exactly about the month).
So, about the Mistika, today I got a trade catalog in a shop, and the Mistika will be released here in Brazil in september. Late, of course, but earlier than I expected (the summer sets are sold here always in october).

Posted by joelmama29 in United States, 05 Aug 2008 13:19

Does anybody know if there is going to be any exclusive Mistika sets for Toys "R" Us. I know Wal-Mart has Mezeka and Target will be the Yellow version of Jettrax but have not heard anything about Toys "R" Us.
