    ?

The competition is still open, and will be until Monday 3rd October.

    Here's the original announcement:

    ---

We've teamed up with the Community, Engagement and Communication team at LEGO  to give you the chance to win these two ComicCon exclusive preview edition Super Heroes minifigs!

These Green Lantern and Batman figures won't be available anywhere else until 2012, so this is your chance to get hold of them before then!

The competition's aim is to raise awareness of the LEGO Super Heroes Challenge building contest, which offers a grand prize of a trip for 4 to Warner Bros. Studios, WB Animation, and LEGOLAND California Resort and the complete 2012 LEGO Super Heroes: DC Universe collection.

All you have to do is answer the question on the competition page. You can find the answer on the contest's website at LEGOSuperHeroes.com. Once you've done so, get building and enter the Challenge!

    ---

There's been a few entries and some of you have got it right, so if you haven't entered yet, you're still in with a chance. Note: duplicate entries will be deleted so don't bother to post them (Michael Harvey...) :-)

Can you enter through different E-mail addresses with the same street address?

Posted by Nerd in United States, 25 Sep 2011 14:11

@Thomson & Thompson No.

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 25 Sep 2011 14:41

^^ you can if you like. It's called 'cheating' & you'll get disqualified if you do :-)

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 25 Sep 2011 14:43

Excitement building...

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 25 Sep 2011 14:50

Define "few." Like six people entered, or few compared to the amount of people on Brickset? If it's the former, YES, one in six chance of winning!! :-)

Posted by Thomson & Thompson in Canada, 25 Sep 2011 14:54

^^All right. Thanks.

^Yeah, I wonder.

Posted by spency13 in United States, 25 Sep 2011 15:01

@TooMuchLego, LOL! Haha I really hope I win this!,

Posted by Matthew in United Kingdom, 25 Sep 2011 15:08

'some of you have got it right'

I'm surprised, it's not exactly a tricky question is it?

Posted by Hello_World! in United States, 25 Sep 2011 15:19

I've entered.

Posted by Nightshroud99 in Canada, 25 Sep 2011 16:11

Good luck to everyone! I already entered myself, really hope I win.

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 25 Sep 2011 16:28

Who is Michael Harvey?... :)

Posted by mattpetersen in United States, 25 Sep 2011 16:44

I submitted a pretty awesome drawing myself. My students thought it rocked. So I figure if my 4th graders liked it, hopefully Lego will!!!!
It involves my favorite hero.....Green Lantern!

Posted by commodorelegolas in United States, 25 Sep 2011 16:46

Sure hope I win!!!

Posted by Dan The Man 17 in Canada, 25 Sep 2011 16:56

Love to win this. I missed out on the entire Batman line-up when they were around a few years ago. Kicking myself now...after watching the Dark Knight and playing Arkham Asylum. Realllllly want a Batman minifigure! :)

Posted by Berrybrick in United States, 25 Sep 2011 18:22

Me too. Even if I don't win though, I'll get one eventually.

According to this article, these exact minifigures (currently exclusive to SDCC) will be available in 2012. Huw is that right? I think so, but many have debated over whether they will or not. Since this contest is a cooperation with TLC, I'd think they told you. Is that True?

Posted by commodorelegolas in United States, 25 Sep 2011 18:42

^ Ya, it will be 2012 when it comes out. But I hope toys r us will get it in Decmber.

michael harvey is a hansome young man who is very intelligent, lego fanatic, gentleman, president of the lego club for his school, and all around nice guy, who really wants the batman minifigure

I think it is cool what you guys are doing, I entered. Hey, will any of the leaders on Brickset be competing in the actual superheroes challenge?

Posted by NickBrick in United States, 25 Sep 2011 20:56

Ive entered! But its been weeks and I wonder if it'll ever show up in the gallery.

Posted by JDLego in Canada, 25 Sep 2011 23:13

@bluemoose- I still dont understand, because Thompson and Thompson has a point, I entered the contest with my email, and my Dad found out about it also, so he told me he had entered also, and we both have the same street address for our email, so that wouldnt be considered as cheating.....

Posted by The Reviewer in United States, 26 Sep 2011 00:22

Nah I'll pass. my reasons: I live in Southern California (I don't like legoland anymore because the rides are meant for kids 6-12 which is lame since we've got Knotts and Disneyland). And I Hate L.A. It's so overrated; it's nothing but a gangland.

Posted by TheCahleySlash in United Kingdom, 26 Sep 2011 12:31

I've entered, good luck to every one and may the best man win :)

Posted by princedraven in United Kingdom, 26 Sep 2011 12:51

I have entered and would love to win. But good luck to all!

@JesusFreak: *Facepalm* :P Who is he?! :P

Posted by nodnarb162 in United States, 26 Sep 2011 14:14

^^^^^ yeah, my twin and are share an adress, so do we get disqalified? i hope not,....:(

Posted by JDLego in Canada, 26 Sep 2011 15:28

@nodnarb162- You shouldnt, maybe if Huw or bluemoose could answer my question that wuld be great, because my dad and I have the same address, it would be stupid if they disqalified you for it, i hope not too, I really want to win these

Posted by Oboe in United States, 26 Sep 2011 20:59

Are you all talking about the being disqualified from the lego superhero video contest or the brickset contest for the 2 minifigs? When I signed up for the brickset minifig contest it only asked for my name and email. Not for a street address. So if you win they wouldn't know if your brother with a different email and the same street address signed up.

If you are talking about the lego superhero video contest you would need to read the fine print there.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 27 Sep 2011 11:35

I'll be removing duplicate entries, I won't say how in case it encourages foul play, but different people with the same email address will be OK.

Posted by JDLego in Canada, 27 Sep 2011 15:02

@Oboe- No your right it doesnt ask you for your address but if you win it will, but thanks huw for clearing it up for us, now I get it.

In the future they will probely do more lego superheros.
One set is going to be a batcave
and also there is some rumors that in the 2012 range there is going to be wonder woman and bane(note : wonder woman has been shown but the we don't know when she will be in the theme

Posted by TheCahleySlash in United Kingdom, 28 Sep 2011 16:20

^Wonderwomen and bane? Where abouts did you hear these, just interested to follow this

Posted by lego lego lego in United Kingdom, 28 Sep 2011 17:05

^
I saw it at
allaboutbricks.com
If you just type in lego superheroes 2012 it should be one of the things that comes up.

Posted by Cligra in United States, 03 Oct 2011 14:19

Are these sets ever going to be listed in the Brickset database?

Posted by Okay in United States, 03 Oct 2011 23:00

Huw, when you say "won't be available anywhere else until 2012" are you saying that they will be available then, or just dismissing the possibility of them showing up before the theme is released? The way I hear it, these will remain exclusive. :-/
