If you're in the UK, you can now order Pudsey Bear from shop.LEGO.com. All profits -- at least £1 per set -- go to the BBC Children In Need charity, so for once you need not feel guilty about buying multiples.

Order him here. If you're not in the UK, why not ask in the forum to get someone to send you some!

You just called a LEGO set "him". :) Well, it is Pudsey... :P

I picked up a couple of these yesterday at Lego store Westfield yesterday. I wasn't keen when I originally saw the set but now I'm actually rather fond of him "in the brick" :)

He is listed as 'Exclusive' but it would be great if they got Amazon, Play, etc to sell him with free shipping (I'm a long way from the nearest Asda) rather than £4 for Pudsey and then £3.95 shipping from S@H!

They should sell him in the U.S. to benefit children as well, why only UK?

Posted by Thomson & Thompson in Canada, 04 Oct 2011 19:09

^Yeah, why shouldn't we be able to order it in NA(or for that matter, why not the rest of the world)?

pretty certain that pudsey is an intellectual property of the Beeb's children in need and the charity behind it is only registered in UK.

selling these as a charity item worlwide would be a real legal headache for lego

They are not in my local ASDA store yet :(

Posted by BrickBob09 in United Kingdom, 05 Oct 2011 11:05

Cool :) I will get one next time I go to ASDA. £4 isn't bad seeing as it goes to charity and its a trademarked logo/mascot.

@bahnstormer; Yes, he's the BBC's Children In Need mascot. The first 'b' stands for British, so is just a UK thing.
I'm sure these will pop up on eBay or other places, so those of you outside the UK should be able to get your hands on the little chap somehow.

As with the Sun polybags, I'm up for international posting. [trades@matthewbutlerfol.co.uk]
Please feel free to drop me an email, and no worries if you decide you don't want it after all.

^Something to keep in mind.

I was hoping to buy directly from the charity -- I wonder when the U.S. will have a LEGO charity event like this (or have they?).
I may take you up on your offer, LegoCoastGuard. I'd really like to get 2 of them somehow.
