The ATV Fire Truck and Transport is definitely an alternate Fire set worth getting. Series 7 minifigures look hilarious and actually better in scope and imagination. Just need some full Creator set pictures...

Actually, they are watermarked, just not by TLG.

Got to love the Series 7 Bunny Man. ^_^ I love bunnies. :P And there's even an IT teacher/nerd guy. :P

Posted by LostInTranslation in United Kingdom, 15 Oct 2011 09:24

Nerd and bunny suit dude are very cool, I'm also loving the hippy, bagpiper and pink-haired rock chick. Just got to wait ages now for all these ace sets & figs to be out...

I managed to get all the images and set list on to my site as well @Huw, I have 50+ images in the gallery from Dino to the new Friends and more :)

The elite clone and commando droids are the best star wars set from 2012.
The series 6 minifigures aren't that great but series 7 is the best we've had since series 4.
The spongebob sets look really interesting
I know what I want now!

Posted by brixton in Canada, 15 Oct 2011 12:44

While series 6 looks good, series 7 looks much better except for the alien and the robot. I saw some images of one of the Dino sets and the new City sets a few days ago. The Dino set looks great. I'll also want to pick up the ambulance. The garbage truck looks great too.

Everything looks amazing

Well Starwars images are nothing new... they're good but it's not like they're worth too much praise. Afterall, we'll be paying for every last brick by the end of 2012.

Didn't get to see much else besides Spongebob and Series 7 though. I probably won't be happy until I see more of the Super Hero line and/or the rumoured Sopwith Camel.

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 15 Oct 2011 13:15

@Ypres: LEGO have already done a Sopwith Camel, why release another? :P

Posted by glamdring804 in United States, 15 Oct 2011 14:34

Sweet! I love the Centurion In Series 6! Anakin's Interceptor is a must have, and the rest of the sets got my attention.

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 15 Oct 2011 15:13

Absolutely spectacular sets, the lot of 'em! I love the execution of Anakin's new interceptor and those Minifigures are great! Ep.3 Nute Gunray? Count me in! Also, the ARC trooper is looking great. Even the Cars sets do not disappoint! I like the look of the Oil Rig Escape.

Posted by itsaturkey in United States, 15 Oct 2011 15:25

Wow, Lego has really made some great SW sets this year. The two new battle packs are great, LOVE the new Ep.3 clone helmet. And finally I can get an Endor rebel without paying 100 bucks! The droid escape is amazing, and I'd consider it a battle pack. But....ANOTHER X-wing and Tie-Fighter? Anakins new fighter is...great :P I like the little hover battle scene thing :P (I've actually attempted to make that scene several times) But it is a bit random, is the CW series even at that time period yet? But overall Lego really did an amazing job.
EDIT: Although I question Lego's reason for another X-Wing, it's very nice :) The tie fighter is a tad too big for my tastes though.

JSYK, I don't normally use "WIN.", but I made an exception for these awesome sets. ;)

Posted by LukeSkywalker in Ireland, 15 Oct 2011 17:04

The Flying Dutchman has been confirmed!! ...oh wait, it's a Spongebob set. :P
I'm really impressed by some of these sets, and the new Anakin with dark brown hair and pre-Vader face looks pretty menacing! I never expected series 7 to be revealed this soon, the figures look too good to be true! I love the hippy, female viking and bagpipe guy! And what's the guy with glasses and new Robin hair holding? (edit: is it a mug, with text speak (:/ printed on it?)
Can't wait for the rest of the Superheroes sets to be unveiled, it can't be long now, with all these other revelations surfacing...

Posted by jjfan in United States, 15 Oct 2011 19:16

I can't wait for series 6 and 7!! And I can't wait for the new CARS sets!!! But has anyone heard if the Jeff Gorvette set is going to be USA exclusive? The reason I ask is because he is not in the movie outside of the USA. So releasing him in other countries would not make any sense. And if he is exclusive, will the characters that replace him in the international releases be available in those countries exclusively?

Posted by Ypres in Canada, 15 Oct 2011 20:01

I'm a little curious about the Spongebob sets. Not to suggest they're random, however their purpose seems utterly mystifying! First off the Flying Dutchmen set is poorly designed. It seems quite odd that there's an island-structure when the ship itself looks like Lego ran out of pieces. The ship partially resembles a women's shoe and is way too short causing noticeably strained playability. Lets face it, if anything, Spongebob is great for part. Why on earth did they include an island/beachrock and leave the ship looking like that???

Secondly the BeachParty set resembles 3834 (and others). Seems like the huge change would simply be the styling!?! *Sigh* Maybe this means 3834 is finally on its way out... the Spongebob theme itself lasting this long is perplexing. Lego is expensive and I don't have the cash (especially in 2012) for every little thing that seems amusing.

@ jjfan - Jeff Gorvette IS in the international versions of the movie, but only in the racing scenes and he does not appear or speak at the Tokyo party as he does in the US version.

The new minifigs look BRILLIANT!

There's a hippie, and a leprecaun, and red riding hood, and a genie, and a minotaur, and King Neptune, and what looks like the soldiers for about three ancient civilisations.

And the Fonz, I believe.

Oh wow, I love that cube with the cars face on it from the movie when the car gets crushed!
