Here we go again... Member Ghost Target reports that "LEGO Minifigures Series 6 are shipping to Walmarts in the US. So far the Saratoga Springs and Queensbury, NY Walmarts have received in 16 cases. The Walmart stock number is 708218".

Update! This is a false alarm, looks like we have a few more weeks to wait yet!

This is a week for early LEGO releases... TIME TO BUST OUT THE STAR WARS!!!!!!!!

Posted by LostInTranslation in United Kingdom, 11 Nov 2011 17:35

Cool, I do love the CMFs. Really looking forward to series 7 but these will do in the meantime :) I'd hope to see these in the UK before Christmas.

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 11 Nov 2011 17:38

@LostInTranslation: Or, instead of waiting, get some from eBay.com... :P

Posted by LostInTranslation in United Kingdom, 11 Nov 2011 17:47

^ that's cheating ! No, you have to stand in a shop aisle furtively feeling out your favourites. All part of the fun.

Posted by voypro in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:02

I recently saw series 5 in wal mart here in KY. the were in the toy isle and not in the regular 60 box, instead they were in a vertical like box that hung near the end of the isle.

Posted by Indy1 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:15

^I saw S5 in their normal boxes at mine.

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 11 Nov 2011 18:19

@LostInTranslation: Alright, but you'll get curious glances by other shoppers... :P

Posted by kylejohnson11 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:33

On my way to a WalMart right now :)

Posted by LostInTranslation in United Kingdom, 11 Nov 2011 18:39

@alemas: Yes, and I don't care muchly; that way I've also helped more than one kid get the CMF they want :) Unlike those spoilsports at WHSmith who keep them behind the counter...

Posted by Carnigee77 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:39

What color are they?

Posted by George G. in United Kingdom, 11 Nov 2011 18:42

@LostInTranslation: Same story for me, but the other way round - I've helped more than one adult find the CMF they wanted :)

Posted by yys4u in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:45

Do we even know the color of the packets??

Posted by kylejohnson11 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:51

I'm calling false alarm. I called my WalMart in Portland, OR. They showed 960 in stock in the back room with that product code. They were all series 5.

Posted by yys4u in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:56

^I'm starting to think your right. It's usually TRU to get them first, and seeing as how we don't know the color even. I demand pictures or it didn't happen!

Posted by kylejohnson11 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 18:57

Based on when Series 3 came out at Fred Meyer (Nov 15th) it could be soon thouugh.

Posted by spency13 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 19:01

I. MUST. HAVE. THEM!!!!!

Posted by spency13 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 19:04

Wait, can someone tell me where the CMFs are located in Walmarts?

Posted by kylejohnson11 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 19:06

My walmart had two wall stands next to all the bikes. They were all series 5

Posted by Thomson & Thompson in Canada, 11 Nov 2011 19:17

It's like my branch will have them. Let's hope for Star Wars!

Posted by Navalis in United States, 11 Nov 2011 19:21

My brother manages a Wal-Mart. I'll have to ask him if they're in yet.

Posted by Jay Kenobi ZX in United States, 11 Nov 2011 19:23

Speaking of CMS, are the cribsheets for the barcodes still up here? Or were they removed?

Posted by Nightshroud99 in Canada, 11 Nov 2011 19:27

Awesome!! This is looking like the best series so far =D

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 11 Nov 2011 19:41

Uh oh, false alarms? Not good, not good at all... :P

Posted by cjg in United States, 11 Nov 2011 20:42

They had 16 boxes of S5 at WalMart today...

Posted by spency13 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 21:25

@kylejohnson11, thanks, I'll be sure to check there.

Posted by yys4u in United States, 11 Nov 2011 21:35

@cjg 16 boxes??? All set out or is that what it said in their inventory? If theres still that many S5 out there I might still go army build some figs..

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 11 Nov 2011 21:37

I don't even have Series 5...

Posted by SupaSteela17 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 21:48

cant wait till it comes to target

Posted by kylejohnson11 in United States, 11 Nov 2011 21:57

@yys4u my walmart had 960 S5 in their inventory

Posted by Zacherano in United States, 11 Nov 2011 23:03

Wow. This is pretty early. I feel like Series 5 just came into stores a month or so ago. I'm sure most stores won't have these for at least a few more weeks.

Posted by Ghost Target in United States, 11 Nov 2011 23:04

Sorry guys, the manager who told me these were coming in double checked the info before he told me. He said the the UPC and Walmart # didn't match any other Minifig series, so he was sure they were S6. Instead S5 now has a new UPC. Sorry again about getting your hopes up.

Posted by yys4u in United States, 11 Nov 2011 23:21

Thanks for nothing Ghost Target!

No I'm jk. honest mistake.

Posted by mikeyob in United States, 12 Nov 2011 07:39

mine had 4 cases of S5...and our town isn't that big

Posted by JDLego in Canada, 12 Nov 2011 11:55

I knew this couldnt be true, usually Toys R Us always gets them first before anybody, they usually have them for pre-order, then everywhere else gets them later. Really excited thought cant wait!

Posted by kylejohnson11 in United States, 12 Nov 2011 12:49

@JDLego Fred Meyer had Series 3 first and I believe Target had Series 2 first :)

Posted by minifig051 in United States, 12 Nov 2011 17:24

Last year, Series 3 was going to come out in January (of 2011), but I got them at Wal-Mart in December. Ever since then, Toys R Us has had them first, and I got Series 4 and 5 there. Wal-Mart's early release must have something to do with the holidays, so I think they might have them (Series 6) in December this year.

Posted by kyzr44 in United States, 12 Nov 2011 19:45

In my area Target will get them in first followed by Walmart. I'm two hours from a Toysrus and ten hours from a brick and mortar LEGO store.

Posted by mo123567 in United States, 12 Nov 2011 22:18

Fred Meyer in the NW has had them 1st a few times. I hope it happens again. I am surrounded by 5 Fred Meyers within close driving distance.

Don't believe what you hear and only half of what you see... or whatever the cliche is.

Posted by lego187 in United States, 13 Nov 2011 14:24

Anybody know to right decoder for 227B1?

Posted by jongoodall in United Kingdom, 14 Nov 2011 18:38

My local independent toy shop recently showed me their traders Lego 2012 catalogue. It looked like Series 6 is going to be white packets and i think Series 7 may have been red packets.
