Posted by Huw, 25 Nov 2011 03:47. Filed under shop.LEGO.com (UK).

10% OFF £100 + FREE Delivery on £25 + Exclusive LEGO Set on £50Although we don't have Black Friday here in the UK, LEGO has joined a growing number of online retaliers that is nevertheless offering us promotions over this weekend. Unfortunately it's nothing to get too excited about, and is the same as the VIP offer last weekend. This might be your last chance to get the second holiday set (330002).

     So the offers are...

    • 10% off all orders of £100 or more.
    • Free Limited Edition Holiday set featuring Santa Minifigure with orders of £50 or more.
    • Free delivery on all orders of £25 or more.
    • All offers valid 25th – 28th November 2011.

There are some new items reduced but unfortunately they are all extended product lines, and no proper sets. Still, you might find something of interest so check out the Sales and Deals page. However the Maersk Container Ship 10155 IS still available at 30% off so combine it with something for £30 to hit the 10% off barrier and get it even cheaper, shipped free and with the holiday set too!

Have to say, after reading the list of decent sets on offer in USA, I am dissapointed in this 'offer'.
Especially as there are so many offers available from the likes of Amazon, TRU, Boots, etc at the moment.

10% off 'if' you spend over £100 is poor. They are giving that off of everything as a minimum with the in-store scratch cards...

Poor show IMO.

Not much of a sale. Hardly worth the marketnig effort.
Having said that, I did buy a Maersk, but I'm not sure I should have bothered since its not minifig scale.

I have to agree with princedraven, there seems to be a lot of deals in the US and nothing new here. Considering the good deals offered by Amazon recently you would think they had something more to offer?!

Guys, you're getting three more offers than other European countries:
- no free shipping in BE
- no free holiday set
- no 10% off

Like BJMdotLEGO said for BE, none of these are available for Portugal as well. Amazon.co.uk is my friend and I haven't bought anything from store.lego in europe although they at least still seem to honor my american VIP points.

Disappointing for the UK and the rest of Europe seems to be getting a really bum deal!

As we see everyday on Brickset, there are much better deals with Amazon, TR US and Argos. It does seem unfair that the US get all those sets discounted by 25% and we only get the Mearsk ship. Why can't it be more evenly shared.
I wonder how the sales will fair at Christmas at Lego S@H.

I agree with the other mainlanders. It's not fair that the deals between UK and us are not the same. They always say that the US is cheaper because it is bigger. And indeed, that rock in the ocean is bigger than Belgium or Portugal but not bigger than e.g. France or Germany.
But is it a better deal? The Maersk Boat is 76.99€ + 5.95€ for shipping = 82.94€ while in the UK it is 72.09£ + 0£. According to XE.com this is 84.14€. So, at the end, the free Christmas Nr 2 gift costs 1.2€. Which is a very good price ofcourse.

Meh! I thought the offer would be better than the previous one when I got the email. Such a shame! I would imagine there was complaints people missed the last 'day only' offer. Think ill give this a wide berth!

Canada got the same similar offer i bit last week to get part 2 of the set but ill pass this time. Grand Emporium at 10% minus 600 VIP points so i got it for $150.

No offer in Ireland either... :-(

I am interested in the Death Star set, however I fear that I won't be able to afford it before Christmas (and hence miss out on the 10% off offer).

Does anyone know when this set is likely to be discontinued by Lego as I really don't want to miss out on this set and then have to pay a premium for a second hand set next year!
