Seven Super Heroes sets will be available from shop.LEGO.com from the 15th December in the USA and Canada, including this previously unknown set The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape.

The sets are, with prices in US$:

    • 6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape ($39.99)
    • 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase ($12.99)
    • 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City ($34.99)
    • 6864 Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase ($49.99)
    • 4526 Batman ($14.99)
    • 4527 The Joker ($14.99)
    • 4528 Green Lantern ($14.99)

Personally I can't find a way to find them in the navigation at the site, but maybe that's because I'm in the UK.

Wow, how did that one duck under the radar? Great selection of figs for one set. You actually get 2 riddler heads and hats as there's a small 'riddle machine' (the only reference I have is the Batman forever film) in the bottom left corner. Funny that his hat is grey rather than green (is that a comic thing?) but looks like the series 5 clown bowler as predicted.

Seems a great way to get red robin and the joker without buying the batwing thing or batcave. And a new print Harley Quin (on the face at least)!

Has anyone seen these at B&M TRU?

Posted by LostInTranslation in United Kingdom, 10 Dec 2011 08:05

I really like the Funhouse set, definitely will be getting that. Well, I'll be getting all the Superheroes sets but that one is probably my favourite now. Just need them to arrive in the UK now ...

There's a little problem with the news tab for the funhouse set-http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=6857-1

Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase and Batman are available at tru online.

Wow, that Joker one is pretty great! It's nice to see that they've put in at least one that isn't a rehash of an older Batman set.

But seriously, $13 for the Catwoman set? LEGO needs to stop raising the prices on its smallest sets, because there's no way in hell that I'm shelling out for that. If it was ten bucks I would, but not 13.

Still want Supes to come online!

Too bad 6862 isn't available. If you search for the set # in the search bar, it'll come up.

Watch out for that fish, Robin!

How many of these sets will be stripped of minifigs and sold on Ebay and Brinklink

Posted by Toa Of Justice in United States, 10 Dec 2011 11:09

@Berrybrick: The search string "6857" appears in the LEGO Minifig Collector app URL in the other article. That's why it ended up alongside this article on the News tab.

I wish they'd spend a little more time on batman's vehicle. That's not the batpod and if it is, it is unlegit.

@ Clone-gunner-comanda-jedi

Thanks for the site man. I'm super stoked for the captain america and wolverine sets. Thor looks amazing as well. I really think Marvel is going to blow DC out of the water for legos. I just haven't been impressed with the batman legos. The old sets are much cooler. Superman's is pretty cool though.

At Eurobricks, they have reported ALL of these sets at TRU stores. I really hope the Superman set comes out before Christmas, cuz that and this new Funhouse set are my number 1's on my list!!!

Posted by The Reviewer in United States, 10 Dec 2011 12:12

Wow! $40 bucks for that kind of set? The prices for the super heroes line has pretty decent prices. Finally! I have to get the fun house set cause I missed out on the harley quinn set from 2008 (that's the only batman set I missed out on). Why does the riddler have a red staff with a hook instead of the one seen in the videogame

Posted by Outer Rim Emperor in United States, 10 Dec 2011 12:19

Wow that funhouse set looks great! Can't wait to get my hands on that one! But I have to agree $13 for the catcycle!? Are they out of they're minds!?

Posted by brix in United Kingdom, 10 Dec 2011 14:23

I love the look of the funhouse set and I'll get it but only if reduced on amazon as it will undoubtedly be £40. Does anyone have any ideas on UK prices yet???

The SUPERMAN Lex Luthor Wonder Woman for $21.99 at www.ToysRUs.com

I will bet you ANYTHING, TRU changes this price within 72 hours. It is against their policy to keep prices reasonable when they smell an extra $1 to be had.

"Super" excited about these sets. I missed out on all the Batman sets in the first run, and my boys absolutely love Lego Batman! I was able to find 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City ($39.99) at the Paradise Valley, AZ TRU today! Can't wait to find the funhouse one!

@Huw- you can navigate the new sets by typing in Lego Batman in the search field!

Poor Robin. Always a hostage.

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 11 Dec 2011 09:56

i don't understand how two minifigures and 86 pieces is $13 when 209 pieces with three brand new minifigures is $20. Just doesn't make sense.

Posted by legogirl19 in United States, 12 Dec 2011 01:45

I found the rest of the above listed sets today @ TRU in Paradise Valley AZ! Yea, the kids will be sooo excited on Christmas! Unfortunately, 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase ($17.99), was marked up a bit from Lego's MSRP. I also found Superman vs. Power Armor Lex (6862) in store! Now just to get the funhouse!

Posted by brix in United Kingdom, 12 Dec 2011 15:06

@ The Green Brick Giant - your right - TLC is just too illogical and inconsistant with their pricing. It also really annoys me when sets are the same in dollars as they are in pounds - America are getting sets for 2 thirds of the price we have to pay in the UK.

Posted by Snowtrooper119 in Australia, 13 Dec 2011 02:46

@ brix at least you don't live in Aus, we have to pay almost double than what the americans have to pay.

Posted by derfazoid in Switzerland, 13 Dec 2011 03:09

@Snowtrooper119 You're not alone. Here in Switzerland retail price for a SW Battle Pack is 25 USD.. it's awesome!@ not. Licensed themes are the most extreme though. Kingdoms/Pharaohs Quest Sets only cost you 1/3 or 1/4 more...
I'm so glad I have relatives in the US ;)
