Ouch! That's wonderful news... I'll try and arrive at my local Zellers around opening to see if I can pick up Blizzard Peak for that crazy-good price. Might even pick up a second City Corner even though I'm not sure what I'd choose to do with it!?!

Oddly enough I don't remember seeing stock of 7641 at Zellers a few weeks ago, even though they certainly had enough of everything else. I suppose, since it was mentioned in the sale, it will be jumping off the shelf and easy enough to spot. Like TRU's 50%OFF sale, retailers like to choose overstocked items to clear out.

So it's in-store? Great deal on City Corner. Might get it.

As far as I know this is an in store sale. You may be able to purchase on line but I am not sure.

I went to a Zellers store to see their stock and could not find either of the 2. I am wondering if they are only bringing them out on the Saturday..... I am for sure getting the City Corner for that insane price.

I didn't think you could buy anything off the Zellers website. Like the old Walmart.ca, it's purpose is for advertising and store locations.

Stock is always a problem. They could start with none, or bring them out from hiding on the day of the sale (the latter I doubt). Zellers, at least in my experience, isn't a great retailer. They're one of those advertisers that you have to constantly read the fine-print. I remember getting excited over a sale which gave a buyer between 50-70% off on products listed in the specified price ranges. Unfortunately it said on "SELECT BRANDS"... and still showed an image of Lego's logo. As one can imagine, I was quite flustered and wished the ghetto store become a Target ASAP!!!

I am 'Legobrandon' on Toys N Bricks, and here is my post on how to take advantage of the BOGO sale along with this sale:

So here is my idea on how to take take advantage of the BOGO deal along with this sale. Since the BOGO sale is on on City, SW, and Ninjago, I would purchase two City Corner sets, one at full price ($29.99) and one at half price ($14.99), plus I would also use the additional 15% off coupon. Then I would take one of the City Corner sets to customer service and exchange the full priced set, with a Blizzards peak ($29.99). So including the 15% off coupon,I would get both the City Corner and Blizzards peak for only $38.23 (tax not included). Math:

29.99 + 14.99= 44.98 x 0.85= 38.23

Good Idea brankell, but I doubt you would actually be able to do that. Usually when a company offers a "1 day sale", it cannot be combined with any other sale or promotion going on at that time. Since it's its a very large percentage off (63%) and only on those 2 sets, I would be very surprised if they let you do the BOGO with them.
But if they do, however, let us know ;)

My Toys N Bricks post:

Just came back. We were the first ones to line up at the entrance. This store has 3 entrances, one inside the mall, two outside. I lined up at the one closest to the escalators. We arrived 20 mins early, and after a while the line started to grow to about 15-20 people. When the doors opened I sprinted up the escalator to find a table with about 20 City Corners and 20 Blizzard's Peak. I grabbed two of each. Within 40 all of them were gone. The City Corners were the fastest to go out of stock. Since I had an extra one of each, I gave them to unhappy parents who lined up for nothing. At the register, the lady allowed me to use both the 15% off discount and the Gift Card coupon, she even allowed me to use the gift card on the purchase. At fist she said we were only allowed to use one coupon, but then I told her the Zellers employees said we can combine both offers. I think this sale would of have been better if they only allowed 1 type/theme per person, so everyone will have a chance at getting one. Some moms got 5 City corners and 5 Blizzard sets. So after taxes, the total came to $47.10

I showed up at 815 and the table was clean but saw lots of parents shopping with both sets in their carts. Checked another store and then didnt even have the promotion. Picked up a few sets on the bogo and used an instore 10% off flyer so i wasnt too dissapointed.
