My Copy of the 2012 Catalogue Arrived Today

My copy of the first catalogue for 2012 arrived today. I don't think there is anything new in there about which we don't already know, but it at least tells you when the various waves will be released (in this part of the world anyway).

There will be another catalogue released later to cover the second-half of the year.

The set names for the Disney Princess Duplo sets are included, so I have added them here to the database.

Did you happen to get the prices of the "friends" girl theme? I was wondering what the msrp of the cafe, and horse doctor sets were. Thanks!

Soooo . . . care to inform us about when those waves are coming out?

In the U.S., café is $29.99 and vet is $39.99.

New wave of star wars date?

Posted by Zordboy in Australia, 23 Dec 2011 06:55

Each page has a general date listed for all the new sets. The new fire and police town sets are January (except for 4438, 4205 and 4430, which are March). The recycling truck is actually listed for April.

The Friends sets are all listed as March. The superhero minifig-scale sets are February, while the larger figures are May. There's four new Racers trucks (all listed for January), the new Hero Factory stuff is February, while most of the new Ninjago sets are January (with a couple listed for March).

And the new SW stuff is February.

Also, season 6 of the collectable minifigs is January, while season 7 is May.

I have already got season 6 from smiths.

Yeah, it's only a rough idea, because things tend to come out a lot earlier. In Australia, the catalogue is usually pretty accurate, but we get stuff later than you guys in America and Europe.

Yeah, how do you order a catalogue?

Posted by Greyface in United States, 23 Dec 2011 09:12

You purchase something off S&H, and they automatically send you a catalogue, usually. Disappointed to not even see the previous HP sets in there, definitely phasing out...

@MAH4546:thanks so much couldn't find the prices anywhere :/ one of the city sets I'm definitely buying is the 4438 bandits hideout.....it reminds me of 6444 outback airstrip for some reason.....even the 4438 has no desert layout or airplane haha

Posted by jackmcar99 in United States, 23 Dec 2011 11:12

Oh btw anyone who was wanting4438 bandits hideout, it is now available on Lego.com and I found it at the Lego store at costa Mesa a few days ago...honestly though, I think 39.99 a bit to much but I'll just have to get it as a gift or wait for a sale....cannot wait for monster fighters they remind me on time cruisers unfortunately I missed out and didn't get one of those sets back in1996

Hello I was wondering if there were any train related items in this catalog

Thank you,
legotrains :)

^ The only train in it is the Maersk.

I really wanted to buy myself the X-Wing for Christmas. I'm disappointed.... still don't understand why they wouldn't release them before Christmas.

The new recycling container truck is at Tysons Corner and is very cool.

Any word on release dates for CARS sets in this catalogue?

Posted by Zordboy in Australia, 24 Dec 2011 02:11

There isn't a page for trains in the Australian catalogue. Even the Maersk train doesn't get any pages.
