    TargetOnMyBack informs us  "Found 2012 sets in Australia: Target in Brisbane have 4635 Fun With Vehicles, 6913 Blue Roadster and 9093 Bone Cruncher. 

    "Big W had Lego still in the cardboard cartons, ready to go on the shelf. There were a few of the later 2011 sets, and for 2012: Creator sets 6912, 6913 and 7291, what looked like all four Racers sets and a couple of the Build and Rebuild sets.

    "Kmart did not have new 2012 sets out but they had clearance prices on a few items, including 7189 Mill Village Raid for AUD69 and the Star Wars Advent Calendar for AUD 25."

I bleieve it's the City advent calendar they had for $25. Also, K-mart have the new Racers sets (about $15 from memory)

I visited a Kmart and Target in Brisbane yesterday. Kmart had some Star Wars and CARS 2 from 2011 on clearance but nothing new. Target had a flat-top full of LEGO cartons blocking the aisle but I didn't look what they were. I'm only after April's CARS sets this year.

Kmart Morayfield has 2 Space Center's left. At that price I don't think they will be there for very long. Target Morayfield have the three new Creator sets (6912, 6913 and 7291) and the four Racer sets - there Lego section is a complete mess... except the new sets. They are all nice and neatly faced up :)

The Melbourne city Myer, Big W and Target stores also have only the new Creator sets and the four new Racers sets. The shelves are so empty compared to normal, no bargains on what is left of old stock, must have had a good Chrissy!

Update: Target have most of the new 2012 City vehicle sets and some of the new Fire sets.
@ Hewman - you were right; it was the City one, not Star Wars. My mistake... and they sold out.
@ Ambrose - Target had 'Cole' and 'Jay ZX' Ninjago boosters at the registers, AUD 8 each.

Darn. I was in Target today, and I didn't see any new City vehicle sets. I'll try again next week.

The K-Mart and Big W I checked, both had the new Creator sets, and the four new Racers sets. But that was all I could see.

As woog pointed out above, the shelves (at the moment) are so empty and sparse, they *have* to be making space for 2012 sets.

The City Vehicle sets as well as some of the new Ninjago sets (including Destiny' Bounty) have appeared at my local Target. I give it another week and the other retailers will be following suit.

Yep, season 6 of the minifigs at Big W on the Sunshine Coast (QLD, north of Brisbane).

For the record, the little teddy bear piece that comes with the pyjama-minifig is my favourite piece ever ever EVER. Love.

New City sets at ToysRUs Doncaster including Garbage Truck, Dump Truck, Ambulance all $29.99 each, also Police Pursuit and Fire ATV.

Some of the larger new City sets at Target Doncaster, Fire Plane and Police Helicopter... 70 and 80 bucks!

Confirming the presence of 2012 sets at the four LEGO-selling stores (Kmart, Target, Myer, Toys 'R' Us) in Westfield Belconnen, ACT. All of them have most of the new City, Ninjago and Racers sets, Kmart has new Creator sets, and Toys 'R' Us also has the Series 6 Minifigures.

I've been to Big W Karrinyup (WA) three days in a row...the new creators are there (gee I love creator sets, got the 6911 for starters) and racers sets, but no sign of minifigs, must try again tomorrow!

Big W Kingaroy have some new Ninjago sets (no spinners or figure/weapons packs) most new forest police sets (not heavy lift chopper), ambulance, car/caravan, recyle truck, and new creator and racers. Also plenty of boxes onthe top shelf waiting to be unpacked!

@ TC - Did they have 4438 Robber's Hideout at Big W? It is meant to be exclusive to a certain store but I don't know which, all I know is it's not Toys R Us or Toyworld...

Good to know the new Racers are out and I can't wait to get the Car and Caravan after missing out on the campervan in 2009.

@TinyTurbosCityAndToyStory- :( no robbers hideout. If it's not a toyworld/TRU exclusive then it could possibly be at BigW (as per wind turbine transproter 7747).
all other city sets (that aren't exclusives) are now on the shelf as well

I went into my nearest Big W for the first time this year today. Nothing different to what everyone else has reported. All City except Robber's Hideout, all four Racers, a couple of Creators, some Ninjago stuff (didn't take much notice, not interested) but no Series 6 Minifigures yet. Only sets I want from any of those themes this year are Patrol Car, Car And Camper and Robbers' Hideout.

I went into Target (castle hills, nsw) found the new 2012 range of nigago and city, including the forest police, fire, dump track robbers hide ect . . .

Also they have series Six minifigures (at the counter only)

@ jtr - Seriously?! Robbers' Hideout's exclusive store is TARGET?! Looks as if I had nothing to worry about. Target is the closest LEGO retailer to my house!
