Chris Doyle has blogged that he found 8031 and 8033 in his local Target's Easter toy section, so if you have one near you go and grab a few. And if you can get some to ship over to me in the UK, get in touch!

What countries are they sold?

Posted by nelsonjr00 in United States, 08 Mar 2009 11:11

They're awesome! We were stunned to see them in Target on Friday. Just $3.99 too!

Posted by doctordark in United States, 08 Mar 2009 13:01

I can't wait to buy a few! :)

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 08 Mar 2009 13:29

They are just $4? You don't have to buy an Easter basket?

Posted by CFL_fan777 in Canada, 08 Mar 2009 16:38

To bad I'm in Canada (only one country away though). They look pretty good.

Hmmm is it a target exclusive because i am trying to find one

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 08 Mar 2009 20:21

It begs the question....

What is set 8032?

Posted by brickemonster in United States, 08 Mar 2009 20:56

I have them, willing to trade to UK France or Germany. If this isnt the place to do this let me know so I can pull the post.

Posted by Yoda 56 in United States, 08 Mar 2009 22:55

Awesome! I am going to go and check at my local Target store (I wish they are not all gone).

To The Green Brick Giant: 8032 is a MINI General Grievous Starfighter.

Posted by Toa Of Justice in United States, 09 Mar 2009 10:43

Yoda 56 and The Green Brick Giant, 8032 is actually the number for a Technic set called Multi Functional Starter Set. 8033 is the number for the MINI General Grievous' Starfighter.

I bought the V-19 Torrent and my friend Spidermin got the General Greivous's Starfighter.

I got them yesterday, they are $3.99 each.

Posted by faster345 in United States, 11 Mar 2009 09:33

Get em yesterday too. Why in the Easter section of all places???

Posted by Kulturkampf in United States, 11 Mar 2009 10:34

BAHAHAHA!!! I love seeing minis in the store again. Got two of 'em! but what about the tie fighter (8028) and the snowspeeder (8029) ?!?! are those available anywhere?

Posted by iabstract in United States, 11 Mar 2009 13:39

@Kulturkampf: I've been looking for those, too. Best I can tell, they were available only as downloadable instructions from Lego.com (you can still get them there), and were never released as actual sets, similar to the Wookie Attack set (6968) that was never released. If I'm mistaken about this, please someone let me know.

As for the V19 and Gen Grievous Starfighter, I went to both Target retailers near me on Monday after reading this post and they were all cleaned out. However, upon returning to one on Tuesday I found a treasure trove, so I bought a couple of each. I'm pretty stoked, since I haven't had too many of the mini sets yet (Anakin's Jedi Starfighter and the BrickMaster sets). Lego's design ability always amazes me, whether it's on the large scale like the UCS Falcon or the smaller sets like these.

@Huw: Let me know if you want me to pick you up a couple sets. Given all the work you put into this site, I think I can be bothered to pick up a couple sets and ship them off to a fellow enthusiast.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 11 Mar 2009 14:27

Thanks for all your offers, but I'm sorted with 5 of each already.

Posted by Kulturkampf in United States, 11 Mar 2009 18:58

Oh that's lame...you're probably right though seeing as how we got the pictures like what? 6 months? a year ago?...and we still haven't seen them available. Well LEGO should keep making minis!!! I think a mini republic y-wing would be pretty cool

Posted by HawkUnit in United States, 12 Mar 2009 00:47

@Kulturkampf: That would be cool, making a mini republic y-wing. They should also make a mini Twilight or a mini Acclamator-Class Landing Craft.

Anyway, the mini V19 and Gen Grievous Starfighter are pretty neat, actually. A couple flaws in the V19, though. I think it's really cool they sell them at Target now because I live next to one. :)

I just bought one of each for my little brother's easter gift. they are 3.99 here and mine has lots! since I am in indiana, only 7% tax! They sure are cool looking.

Posted by c.lee.r in United States, 12 Mar 2009 13:38

got them both the other day. love the v19. The generals starfighter is pretty cool also. 3.99 each. best of all no stickers.

Posted by doctordark in United States, 12 Mar 2009 14:41

By the way, if you want to check the availability of these sets in your local Target, here is Target.com's product page: http://www.target.com/LEGO-Star-Wars-Mini-Impulse/dp/B001J1GGQ6
Use the "Find it at a Target store" link to check availability.*

I went to target today and I got two of each set!

Posted by Retsnom Kcor in United States, 16 Mar 2009 06:49

I got both a couple of days ago. The v-19 is actually better than the Greivous Starfighter

Posted by Batmaniam in Canada, 20 Mar 2009 16:08

Nice. I want the v-19 torrent.
