Looks pretty cool. The picture is hard to see the minifigs on though. I guess you need to get the poster. I wonder if you get it for any order or just star wars.

Posted by cyberjoker in Australia, 03 May 2009 06:39

Yeah! congrats to the Americans etc that can actually get this.
I will just cry myself to sleep down here in Australia tonight without a poster or the discount on the mighty Falcon.

Posted by cloner 95 in United States, 03 May 2009 07:46

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Finally, I can see whay that poster is. It seems Mon Mothma is on that, so I suspect all summer releases will be on that poster as well. What kind of sucks is that I can't use my Brickmaster coupon. It says that you can't combine offers. Darn!

Posted by guildfordmatt in United Kingdom, 03 May 2009 08:11

for me it's not that exciting, i mean why not use brickset's minifig abilities and features. However the discounts on the sets is what i'm jealous about.

Posted by Yoda 56 in United States, 03 May 2009 09:48

I placed my order about 5-10 mins after the offer started! (about 12:10 am on may 3rd). I just cant wait to get my order!

Posted by ILikePi in United States, 03 May 2009 10:36

FBTB says that it is folded...
http://www.fbtb.net/2009/05/02/may-3rd4th-sh-offer-more-details-revealed/

Last night I ordered two Public Works sets and General Grievous. I can't wait for them to arrive! :D

Posted by MisterFubar in United States, 03 May 2009 10:52

Just my luck I'd order the UCS Falcon AND end up winning one... Ok maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 03 May 2009 11:59

Huge let down,. just like most Star Wars sets, however I was thinking about placing an order so maybe I will just for this poster.

However they only made 15,000? That's a tiny number.

Posted by tylox15 in United States, 03 May 2009 12:50

A poster? hhhhuuummmm I would have thought it would have been an exculsive special set......at least a small one! I found the UCS Falcon on sale at Amazon.com in Feb for 399, so I got it at a cheaper price!

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 03 May 2009 13:09

So you are bragging about getting the set for 94 cents cheaper? The people who buy one now get a poster and a chance to win another $500 LEGO set.

Posted by Danson Delta-40 in United States, 03 May 2009 14:03

bought a clone walker and says poster will come with.

Posted by iabstract in United States, 03 May 2009 17:00

They only made 15k because it's only available for two days.

@ clone commander trainrex:
I got the poster ordering the Shanghai Chase, and when I just put a keychain in my cart and went to check out I still qualified for the poster, so I'm thinking you can order just about anything.

Posted by FiletOFish67 in United States, 03 May 2009 18:09

Wow... so the poster is coming folded huh. Huge, HUGE, let down..

At the very least they could have put it in a cylinder to keep the poster intact. It seems this is not much of a celebration at all but a move to further milk the fans. We spend so much cash and have pushed Lego Star Wars to incredible success. In return this is what we get--a folded, anticlimatic poster. Very disappointed.

Posted by bsmarthen in United States, 03 May 2009 18:33

I got mine its on the way..

Posted by halfpenguinhalflego in United Kingdom, 04 May 2009 05:11

I think i'm going to hide in a corner and keep repeating to myself "why Lego why?"

Posted by Dentarthurdent in Australia, 04 May 2009 05:44

I'm depressed

Posted by Scottieuk in United Kingdom, 04 May 2009 07:27

I just don't understand why this wasn't a global offer.
Bad move LEGO

Lego.com should do a system that rewards loyal collectors/customers like a points system that can be traded in for exclusive sets etc.

Or a proof of purchase/voucher system included in all boxes so it's not retailer specific.

I often buy from the Lego shops here in the UK because they operate a stamped card loyalty system that you gives you money off your next purchase.

Posted by legobazooka in United Kingdom, 04 May 2009 08:03

I am quite happy to have the download version - intersting to note that it only includes the flesh tone slave leia from the sail barge and no the yellow version as well from jabbas palace.

Posted by damien in Netherlands, 04 May 2009 08:16

What's so fun about a poster with which you'll do nothing but moving around the house while you're cleaning the place up a little. I'm disappointed and very jealous because of the sale-prices, but a poster is not my idea of celebrating 10 years of Lego Star Wars .

Posted by snoboarder31 in United States, 04 May 2009 09:10

does anyone have a scan of it?

Posted by ngclarkiv in United States, 04 May 2009 09:40

it doesn't include alot of figures legobazooka

Posted by kevin30 in United States, 04 May 2009 13:17

Ah, I just went to buy one and it says that they are out of stock, Well, maybe on ebay...

Posted by iabstract in United States, 04 May 2009 13:35

Looks like the posters are gone. D'oh. And I was going to grab that Medieval Market, too.

Posted by MisterFubar in United States, 04 May 2009 13:36

I'll probably use the poster as a background for the UCS Falcon my wife just ordered for me...

She rocks.

Posted by Danson Delta-40 in United States, 04 May 2009 17:14

The poster is now out of stock.

Posted by Mr.Wampa in United States, 04 May 2009 17:16

I got mine with a battle pack yesterday.

Posted by fredthefish03 in United States, 04 May 2009 18:51

i ordered mine yesterday with an agents set and should be getting mine soon. AND i had a leftover brickmaster coupon! 5$ off and poster WOW

Posted by ARC170Dinofighter in Canada, 04 May 2009 18:55

Hmm... not all of the minifigs are on here. Examples:
Original Ewoks, SBDs, Pilot, commander and security droids.
Both droidikas.
Greedo
I think that's it.
But yes, the new guys are here. All of them.

Posted by BioFreak877 in United States, 04 May 2009 19:33

I noticed after checking the link lego doesn't seem to have any more posters. So I guess the while supples last came before 11:59:59 tonight.

Posted by 18000pieces in United States, 04 May 2009 19:43

I didn't have any pocket money back when the earliest sets came out, so I just have vague recollections of them, but I'm pretty sure some of the figs are missing. Sort of like if you woke up from amnesia, you would still know if you had a missing tooth- this poster has that missing tooth kind of feel.

Posted by 18000pieces in United States, 04 May 2009 19:44

Sorry for the double post, but it's interesting that the large size image was removed by the request of the LEGO company on Flickr.

Posted by legofanatic2414 in United States, 04 May 2009 21:02

UHHHH this might be kind of dumb to ask, but how do you see the poster? BioFreak877 saw it how do you see it? c'mon! I know Im new to brickset!! :(

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 04 May 2009 21:09

By buying something in he next 3 hours. lol

Lego took all the pictures down? Very odd. Good thing I saved it! :)

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 04 May 2009 22:29

@ARC170DinoFighter: greedo and the pilot, security, commander battle droids are there and the blue SBD is there too. Also, notice that the poster has the minifigs in orginal costume/appearance. Though the droidekas and various droids are missing.

Posted by tylox15 in United States, 04 May 2009 23:37

I did not realize I had an error on my post above. I found the UCS Falcon for $349.00. Sorry! :)
I did order the Death Star (back order). Looks like the poster will be send before the Death Star will ship. And get entered in the contest!

Posted by ngclarkiv in United States, 05 May 2009 13:33

the new jetpacks for the clones on the tank look awesome!

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 05 May 2009 14:30

Cool poster, but I was expecting a free set/keychain

I see why lots of people live in America-its so cool!

Posted by Mr.Wampa in United States, 05 May 2009 15:22

I wish I got more. I just looked it up on ebay, and one has 17 bids with 4 hours 38 mins left and it's at $44.99!!!!

Posted by FiletOFish67 in United States, 05 May 2009 21:16

^ Couple things why that auction might be misleading:

1. There are only a few posters selling on Ebay at the moment. Soon, there will be a huge influx.
2. Looking at some of the auctions that already closed, it looks like some of the sellers won (bid it up themselves).. which means they lost since they didn't really sell the item. The true sale price might be significantly less than the price in the auction you refer to.

So, I'd say you didn't miss out on much if reselling the posters is your goal. I got 3 posters coming (1 from me, 2 from friends) and I plan on selling 1 of them. How much am I planning on getting? I'd consider myself lucky to get $30. We'll see in a couple days how the market turns out for these posters.

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 05 May 2009 22:08

If they sell for more than $5-$10 it just shows how insane Star Wars LEGO fans are.

Posted by Mr.Wampa in United States, 06 May 2009 01:07

FiletOFish67, that is true, but you can't bid on your own item

Posted by FiletOFish67 in United States, 06 May 2009 01:13

^ Of course not. There are at least 2 ways of getting around it though, which I will not discuss here. Generally, this practice makes us fans pay more--not a good thing.

Posted by Dentarthurdent in Australia, 06 May 2009 04:22

Now I'm even more depressed

Posted by Mr.Wampa in United States, 06 May 2009 15:55

The poster ended at $81.00!!!(that sure is a lot just for a poster)
