Better beware that no Virgin Atlantic employee discloses how many have been bought for resale purposes... lol :p

I've placed my order, £15 + £3.50 postage. I ordered a few :-)

I assume you can't order from outside the UK?

Posted by Si_Dorking_Surrey in United Kingdom, 08 Apr 2012 04:24

Correct, it says UK only.
Thanks for the heads up Huw.
Postage is free if you spend over £100.

I better contact one of my friends in the UK to order me one.

just ordered 2, so one will be for trade/sale next week.

To be fair, although it's a nice looking set, I don't see much that's exclusive enough to make an immediate purchase. It offers some good inspiration for a MoC, though.

I see a couple of problems with that glider travelling on the trailer as it. Perhaps those wings might interfere with other road users a little bit in other lanes? Hopefully the wings detach easily.

Googled some parcel forwarding/redirect services, signed up for one, and then ordered this from virgin/retailtherapy. In the end this won't be cheap (although cheaper than the Hayabusa satellite I was thinking getting shipped from Japan!) but it looks great and will be a nice addition.

Grr... There seems to be something with the website my mac doesn't like, it won't load. >:(

Doomtrool: do you have anything like NoScript for your browser? I used Chrome on my MBP and it was working just fine, once I enabled the site in NotScript.

Bummer. No US delivery option. I would have bought this fast if there was.

Anyone outside the UK (especially who I owe stuff!) want one of these? Shoot me an email.

I am happy to order for anyone outside of the UK at a price of GBP25.00 through Bricklink. Please let me know if you would like one and i will add to my order.

@CapnRex101, The wings detach and fit on the trailer as shown in this picture:

That's a neat little set. What options are available for those of us in the States to purchase this set?

Any of my mates in the UK who I hooked up with the Walmart and TRU Polys want to return the favor :) I could use 2 or 3. Would pay for everything including shipping of course!
