    Space/Space Police 3, 2009
    More details...
    ©2009 LEGO Group

Although LEGO had previously stated that Space Police III would not be released to retailers in the UK, it appears that those 'retailers' did not include LEGO's own Brand Stores ...

We have received very credible information that the LEGO Brand Stores in the UK (Bluewater / Brighton / Milton Keynes) have today received deliveries of some Space Police III sets.

Although from a very credible source, please phone ahead to make sure that the sets are actually on sale before making the journey.

They have also received deliveries of some of the new Agents 2.0 & City sets.

WHAT?!? YIPEE! THEY ARE COMING!!! WAHOO!!! Unfortunatly, I don't live in Brighton, or any of the cities where there's a LEGO Store:(! Sigh...

Posted by clonepirate in United States, 26 May 2009 10:19

Good for you !!! even though you're across the ocean

Posted by dragon_teenager in United States, 26 May 2009 10:46

All is not lost! They'll probably be at S@H, then.

Posted by DJimBo in Netherlands, 26 May 2009 11:25

I've found two new sets of space police with pictures! i've found them on a dutch site:

http://www.intertoys.nl/epages/intertoys.storefront/4a1c083800289475271952c5db0605f2/Product/View/557702

http://www.intertoys.nl/epages/intertoys.storefront/4a1c083800289475271952c5db0605f2/Product/View/557704

just look at those pictures, those are new! maybe good to put in the database?

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 26 May 2009 11:27

@DJimBo: They have been already added in the database!

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 26 May 2009 12:05

Come on TLG -update your S@H for the UK because I can't go ALL the way to a brand store. (Notice that they are all in the North and East, not South and West, where I am!

I do want the SPIII sets though, as soon as they are on S@H (which I expect they will be ).

Here are some anonymously sourced prices:
Squidman's Escape: £3.99 (don't forget this is the RRP, tax is then taken away)
Freezeray Frenzy: £8.99
Gold Heist: £14.99
Space Truck Getaway: £24.99 to £29.99
Hyperspeed Pursuit: £34.99 to £39.99
Galactic Enforcer £79.99

Don't hold me to these prices btw, but they seem reasonable.

Posted by Topsy Cret in Sweden, 26 May 2009 13:56

The thing is Cody, it's not very often that LEGO's own prices are "reasonable".

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 26 May 2009 14:01

UK Prices are -

5969 - Squidman escape - £ 3.89
5970 - freeze ray frenzy - £ 7.85
5971 - gold heist - £14.65
5972 - space truck getaway - £19.55
5973 - hyperspeed pursuit - £39.15
5974 - galactic enforcer - £58.69
8399 - k9 bot - £ 1.95
8400 - space speeder - £ 1.95

Posted by Emerald Night in United States, 26 May 2009 14:30

@DJimbo Sorry but those sets are not new. We already knew about them

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 26 May 2009 15:08

I LOVE YOU LEGO!!!!!!!
I thought Susan Boyle was a surprise, but this is even greater!
This is great- I've always loved Space lego, but Mars Mission was less than brilliant...

Posted by Indy64 in United States, 26 May 2009 15:11

I saw them in TRU yesterday in the USA

Posted by BioFreak877 in United States, 26 May 2009 16:39

Brilliant, 'cause I'm on holiday in the UK at the moment, so I may just pester me mum if we can go on a short trip.....

Posted by clone commander trainrex in United States, 26 May 2009 18:44

Sounds pretty good.
@Indy64-Where was the TRU?

All of them look good but is gold heist or hyperspeed pursuit better.

Posted by Kobacca in United States, 26 May 2009 19:38

Why not order online?

Posted by WhiteUltra in United Kingdom, 26 May 2009 19:48

Was in Lego Bluewater today and they're not on sale yet.

Posted by 18000pieces in United States, 26 May 2009 19:54

@clone commander trainrex

That really depends on how much cash you have at the moment. If you have the fifty dollars (or forty GBP)to spend on hyperspeed pursuit, I recommend instead spending it on Gold Heist and Space Truck Getaway - you get the same price, but with more pieces, more figs, a larger bad-guy ship and four arms on an authentic minifig that isn't a lousy general greivous fig design!

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 26 May 2009 21:14

I'm glad. It's a great looknig theme that everyone should be able to buy.

Posted by Wraith leader in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 02:26

yay, I can finally get them when I move back

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 02:47

I can confirm that all 7 of the above SP3 sets were for sale in the Milton Keynes store from mid-afternoon Tuesday onwards.

Posted by Icarax123 in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 02:51

does anyone know if the new power miners have been sighted yet?

Posted by akerh001 in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 05:50

@bluemoose
thank u thank u thank u in 20 minits time i shall own many sp3 sets

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 07:44

All 7? But there are 8...
We get Galactic Enforcer before the US!

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 08:07

YES! YES ! YES ! YES!

Its a dream come true!

AND my birthdays on sunday

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 12:01

@legoguysw - you're right, I can't count !

I've just recounted the sets in front me, and, yes, there are 8 :-)

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 13:29

Here's for Space Police III being on S@H soon if you don't live anywhere near a Lego store in the UK!
The symbol for Agents on S@H UK has just changed to 2.0 so I would assume the sets for that and some other themese will be up soon (excluding Star Wars and Indy of course). Apparently some stores have been told that they cannot put Space Police on sale until 28th May so maybe that is when they will be online. If not, I hope/bet they will be out soon.

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 27 May 2009 16:09

Heh, I hope that LEGO releases the Space Police sets on Legoshop.com! I really hope so...

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 17:15

Thanks bluemoose.
I'm really looking forward to maximum security transport- sounds good!

Posted by StormSworder in United Kingdom, 28 May 2009 12:53

Does anyone know when Space Police 3 will be available in Lego's online shop? Last time I looked the bigger ones weren't in even the US bit yet.

Posted by Golem25 in Netherlands, 28 May 2009 13:44

I`ve found the new impulse sets in a department store in the Netherlands. They just arrived there, together with some Agents 2.0, and Star Wars sets.

Posted by GameOn99 in United States, 28 May 2009 16:48

I found them here in the USA and they are in lego stores now.
Hey, by the way, why do the galactic enforcer, hyperspeed persuit, squidman's pitstop and max security transport not say "(not yet released)" when nobody has seen them in stores???

Posted by crystal devouring purple sulfur monster on a keych in United States, 28 May 2009 17:40

space police has been on legoshop.com since may 22nd, and nobody seems to notice

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 28 May 2009 17:53

We've been talking about Space Police being on there ever since they appeared there!
Sev

Posted by GameOn99 in United States, 28 May 2009 18:04

I mean they are now in the actual local stores for the true non-raised prices. They were only on the website recently.

Posted by capnrex in United Kingdom, 29 May 2009 03:26

I have been to the Brighton Lego shop and can confirm that they have the new space police, castle, city and agents 2.0, although the agents 2.0, space police and castle have not been put on display yet so you have to ask a staff member about them.

Posted by minifigure302 in United States, 29 May 2009 11:36

Space Police 3 is lightyears ahead of mars mission (pardon the pun) , yet has no storyline or explanation. All it is is cops chasing aliens. How is this much different from the city police theme?

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 29 May 2009 11:45

@minifigure302: How do you know it has no explination?! The Lego site for it isn't even up yet, so you don't know if it does or doesn't have an explination.
Sev

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 30 May 2009 07:26

RED ALERT, RED ALERT! The UK now has the Agents sets on Legoshop.com! Go see it! It's under the themes! WAHOOO! They even have the new Castle sets! City too! The new Star Wars sets are... "Not Available", with no pictures! THEY ARE HERE!!! Be warned though, they ALL say "Not Available"! In fact, I think the whole of Europe now has those sets! I checked a couple of European countries, and they have the new sets! I now checked intercontinental countries, like Australia and New Zealand, and they BOTH have those sets! They are "Not Available" though!

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 30 May 2009 07:43

if you search for space police sets they can now be found, but unavailable, the same as the others, lets hope by the end of the day we will be able to order them :-)

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 30 May 2009 07:46

@keithkram: You are right! The price says "GBP 0.00", although I doubt it we get those for free! LOL. Now that I think of it, all the new sets don't say their price, which is bad:(!

Posted by zombymobster in United States, 30 May 2009 09:45

Sorry that this is off topic, but I'm trying to write a review for Trolls Mountain Fortress and every time I try to submit the review, it tells me I may have "bad language/repeat characters". I've changed some things in it (I certainly am not using bad language) but it's still giving me the same message. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 30 May 2009 09:51

Alemas - I was told a month ago by a lego rep that we should be getting this stuff on 1st June. When i phoned on thursday I was told it would not be until 16th June, and now the web site is being updated, so I would have thought 1st June was correct. Will have to see if prices appear and if we can order them, i keep checking every few hours. I think the ones without pictures are the sets that the US site has not had yet, so hence the pictures have not been uploaded to their web site.

Posted by timbutnice in United Kingdom, 30 May 2009 09:57

The new castle and space police is out on the shelves in the Lego shop in Brighton - just picked up the container heist

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 30 May 2009 10:38

@keithkram: Hmmm, we will see...

I saw Space police at S@H for the UK! But it says not avalible. http://shop.lego.com/WhatsNew/ProductsLaunched2009.aspx?pg=9

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 30 May 2009 12:56

@nadnerb112: YAY!!! There's even Galactic Enforcer and Hyperspeed Pursuit! HURRAY!

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 30 May 2009 15:02

After reading about the Galactic Enforcer on Lego.com, I want it even more now. It can split up into 5 seperate space craft, and includes it's own lab and questioning area inside, and it's almost 2 feet long!
I want the Galactic Enforcer and Hyperspeed Pursuit.
Sev

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 30 May 2009 15:55

Hey guys, go to Lego and look at the Hyperspeed Pursuit/Galactic Enforcer set. Even though theres no pictures, if you click where the picture should be of the set, it brings up a bunch of them that actually show the sets!
The Galactic Enforcer actually includes a 360 degree spin of the whole set!

In Galactic Enforcer, one of the astronauts is a girl!

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 31 May 2009 09:09

@Mars: Yeah, I noticed too! That's odd... we've never had female police officers before!

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 31 May 2009 09:32

How can you guys tell?
Sev

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 31 May 2009 09:39

@Rep.Comm.Sev: Tell what?

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 31 May 2009 09:55

@ Alemas: How do you know that it's a girl officer.
Sev

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 31 May 2009 10:19

@Rep.Comm.Sev: Click on the link for the Galactic Enforcer above. Now, click on the empty "picture slot", choose the fourth picture, and you will see a female police officer arresting Kranxx!

I know this is about SP3 in UK, but I just wanted to say I found some SP3 at the Lego Imagination Center (Store) in Downtown Disney in Orlando, FL.

Posted by witzenHammer in United States, 01 Jun 2009 19:12

at Toys R'US in Santa Cruz (or is it Capitola?) they had new sets this weekend, last of May.

they had all the expected Space Police (we got Squidman and Freeze Ray Frenzy)
along with some great new Agents, a Power Miners Crystal King, a Troll Mountain Hideout and another Castle set.
they probably had more, but that's what I noticed.

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 02 Jun 2009 09:34

I wonder why they Lego put the first 4 SP3 sets out first, and the still don't have Hyperspeed Pursuit, and Galactic Enforcer.
Sev

Posted by space police fan in United States, 02 Jun 2009 13:30

Hmm.. thats wierd, at first they said UK wouldn't get them and now they have more sets, wierd. Nice win though

Posted by isaacba2001 in Australia, 04 Jun 2009 01:59

I live in Australia and i,m depressed that they have to release first in the UK.

Posted by Greyface in United States, 08 Jun 2009 16:22

For all you other US citizens, the first four Space Police are out in TRU stores. They really need to open more LEGOlands or LEGO stores in the US...
