^ Thanks Jacob, they do indeed seem pretty reasonable prices. I am looking forward to picking these up.
The castle at less than £80 is a must.

Hulk promotion is still on for Switzerland and Germany. Big Ben is low listed as available, along with Sopwith Camel. Sungeymun is out, minecraft is out...

Swiss Prices still too artificially high, but nice in Germany.

I actually jumped out of my chair when I read that the Star Wars sets are now available! Better get ordering! :D

Posted by estrics85 in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 06:12

I went to london lego shop while ago, then...... of course there wasn't a mini Sopwith Camel.......

Posted by Firox 5000 in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 06:21

Looking at those star wars prices, most of them are the prices I expected the, to go for. £100 for Malevolance and £55 for the gungan sub is not actually that bad actually. But £120 for the Palace is a con (typical Lego taking advantage onnthebbigger better sets).

Posted by swchk1993 in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 06:32

don't you get a free lego avengers poster if you spend £25 or more?

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 06:35

and the hospital and garage city sets

Posted by Firox 5000 in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 06:54

The city sets prices aren't too bad and the Monster fight sets prices are pretty much Those I predicted which value wise aren't too bad bad.

Posted by ccjwprongs in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 10:29

Palpatine's Arrest, while not yet available for order, is showing a price of £59.99 in the UK. Not too bad then! At least compared to the horrendous prices of the rest of the summer wave. £29.99 for Saesee Tiin's Starfighter...?!

"Absolutely nothing!" <--Huw, was that a UHF reference? If so, you've earned my undying admiration.

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 11:02

Does anybody know if the new Lego Star Wars are in stores in the UK (or more specifically Brighton)?

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 12:08

It's weird..the Monster Fighters sets are being adverised on the UK S@H homepage, it takes you to the product page and then says "Not Available In Your Country"...

Posted by herbie75 in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 12:32

Pre-ordered my sopwith last night and after a phone call to a nice man at Lego this morning I will receive a hulk figure with it :D

Posted by Rolyat24 in United States, 01 Jun 2012 12:48

In the US, the new Ninjago sets are out

Posted by Mcotter in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 12:53

Toysrus have got 20% off piratically everything from the 1st of June to the 5th of June, and i wonder if they will have the new lego star wars summer sets in stock, so i can get them all 20% off!!!

Here is the link : http://www.toysrus.co.uk/info/trubw-jubilee-20Off-june2012.jsf

The Lego Star Wars summer sets are not listed on the official Toysrus online store as of yet, but i wonder if they are stocked at Toysrus store???

£80 for the Sith Fury!?! Aye Carumba! I knew Jabba's Palace would be a rip-off but a relatively small ship unrelated to the movies with just three minifigures is £80?

LEGO. You never fail to impress me.

Posted by caperberry in United Kingdom, 01 Jun 2012 15:57

WHAT! No mini Camel yet??? Grrr.

Posted by LEGOKip in United States, 01 Jun 2012 18:04

U.S. Lego shop@home is offering a free Shelob set if you buy the complete line of LoTR -- plus the free shipping and Sopwith Camel Huw mentioned. Also included is a free LoTR poster that's been available for a while.

Posted by Soundczar in United States, 01 Jun 2012 20:23

Saw the Sopwith Camel tonight at the new Lego Store in Peabody, MA. It is bigger than I anticipated. Did not get it, however. I need to wait. I was surprized to see 7346 Seaside House as well, this I did pick up!

Mining City sets - Get all for MSRP, but get 2x VIP points (409 total), free shipping, AND the mini plane!

Posted by Delatron in United Kingdom, 02 Jun 2012 04:29

Agree with comments above, £120 for Jabba's palace is mental. I nearly dropped my coffee! The Fury interceptor looks really nice too, but i'm not shelling out £200 on 2 sets. I can get most of the monster fighters theme for that! I'm saddened at how much nice licensed Lego there is right now and how little of it I will get because of the cost.

Posted by Sabreman64 in United Kingdom, 02 Jun 2012 13:54

The prices of licensed sets are slowly becoming ludicrous. Unlike the non-licensed sets. Take the Taj Mahal, for example. At £200 for just under 6000 pieces, *that* was good value.

Kind of wishing I'd waited a week on the Monster Fighter sets. Could have gotten them a little cheaper for one and then I'd also have something to get free shipping with the Minecraft set. Though if they'd just release 9465 the Zombies in the US before the end of the $75 free shipping deal on the 15th I'd have something to order to get it.

Posted by milkbottlec in United Kingdom, 04 Jun 2012 21:56

@goldfish, How did you get the 10 GBP voucher from TRU?

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 05 Jun 2012 08:06

@Jacob Wilson and @CapnRex101, please note this is not a discussion forum. If you wish to discuss things between yourselves, please use email.

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 05 Jun 2012 08:31

^Yeah sorry about that Huw (and everyone else) it started on topic and then veered off I'm afraid. Sorry!

On a different topic, I am disappointed to see that Jabba's Palace has already been removed and the Desert Skiff is out of stock.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 05 Jun 2012 09:22

They have probably just sold out for now. I got my order in on the 1st and it has shipped, luckily...

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 05 Jun 2012 09:53

Oh, the Skiff is back in stock now! Fantastic, add to basket... now I wait.

Posted by sarlacc98 in United Kingdom, 05 Jun 2012 11:07

@huw thanks huw that was kinda getting out of control.

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 05 Jun 2012 13:42

@JacobWilson you can still message CapnRex101 so don't worry about that :-)
In terms of Jabba's Palace vs the Malevolence, its weird how the former has less pieces yet the latter is more expensive, I'm assuming this is because of the minifigure count yes? From the summer SW wave ST's Jedi Starfighter, the Desert Skiff, and the Gungan Sub are the only must buys for me because of their decent prices (though admittedly the Jedi Starfighter is a bit of a weirdly priced one), the Fury Class Interceptor looks really good but I'm not shelling out £80 for a ship and 3 minifigures!

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 05 Jun 2012 14:18

^Contact Moderators about that, I can't change settings but they can. http://www.brickset.com/contact/

Is anyone else of the opinion that the Minifigures in the Malevolence set are really underwhelming? For such a big set, one would expect at least one all new figure (I know Padme is included, but she is not a great figure by the looks of it). I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Posted by kwilder in United States, 05 Jun 2012 19:03

In the interest of keeping this on topic, I will say something off topic to help resolve:

It appears there is a difficulty in speaking privately because of contact settings (if I am wrong in my understanding, I apologize)

Any person (such as @Jacob Wilson and @CapnRex101) that wants to exchange contact on brickset needs to have the ability to contact enabled. To do so, follow the following steps (which are really probably unnecessarily detailed, but sometimes people don't understand unless it is really detailed.)

To change your contact settings:
- make sure you are signed in
- look on the upper right corner of your screen
- click "your profile"
- go to the very bottom of the screen
- select "Edit profile"
- look down the left handed column until you see "contact"
- select "Allow Brickset users to contact me via the contact form"
- after it is selected, you will see the little box checked
- go to the bottom of the page and select save

To then contact someone, you click a persons user name in the comments on a posting, which will bring you to that persons profile. Then, scroll down their profile information until you see "contact [username]." Then, use the form that pops up (assuming they have allowed contact) to contact that person. If that person does not allow contact, you will not be able to contact them.
