it now doesnt include batterys anywhere...i think ;-(

Perhaps they don't want us to use batteries in the U.S. and look to alternative fuels ;)

in Europe batteries are included :)... too bad it costs almost double the price as in the US. that batteries must have an everlasting life...

Posted by machead000 in United States, 20 Sep 2007 14:23

I just pre-ordered mine; I thought it was odd also that batteries were not included in the U.S.

No matter - I'd have ordered in anyway - gotta keep my collection going.

Heck, I'm getting rechargables for mine. Anyways, it's AAs not like it takes huge D cells at least.

Great news except…

Price - 130 US dollars OR 160 Canadian. The actual difference between the prices the day the set was released is all of 25 US cents.

Batteries - Not including batteries is fine, but only including them in some countries is not a good customer relations move by LEGO. This is almost as bad as the stickers in some sets. Really poor move by LEGO.

Cool. It never includes batteries. The price is really high.

Posted by Pegasi in United States, 20 Sep 2007 21:40

I think that for what it is, the price is about what it should be. I can't wait to get one!

Maybe they're just making amends for the expensive sets in Europe ;D

Posted by deluckybrick in United States, 21 Sep 2007 21:18

I think Lego really shot down the price. If you convert the Euro price and the Pound price, it comes out to about $200!

I want this set soooooo much. I have tons of white base plates. My mom already bought the hoth base for Christmas but i am gonna buy it from her. White base plates + 7666 (hoth base) + soon to get At-At = hoth war. I need the At-At sooooooo much but, $130 little much, Wait who cares I am getting it!

this set is way cool but why only one snow trooper??? any answers?

Posted by stormtrooper16 in United States, 29 Sep 2007 17:56

yes it is very cool but it needs more snowtroopers.

Posted by bigz123 in United States, 29 Sep 2007 19:23

THANK YOU!!!

they should put atleast 5 more snow troopers

Posted by Pegasi in United States, 30 Sep 2007 10:07

Yeah, it is slightly strange them putting only 1 snowtrooper considering their recent sets have had a lot more minifigs than the older ones.

(sorry for the double post)

Posted by bigz123 in United States, 30 Sep 2007 13:43

i know and they should put a speeder just like in the old one

Posted by Hitomi@Goldentower in United States, 30 Sep 2007 16:41

personally i can't wait to make my own hoth scene as well. I made a table for it and am adding the original snowspeeder and original millineum falcon and the base from the original b-wing to my scene.

This looks like a great set! I've seen it walk on a brick shelf video and it is so awesome.. just like in episode 5! Although I do agree with you it needs more snow troopers.
Well I g2g good luck on those hoth battle scenes!
