That's a pretty sweet deal! Not much use to me though ;)

If you are also in the Goteborg area on saturday 30th June
BR Leksaker has renovated its toy shop, and is offering 50% on ALL lego!
first come first serve basis...usually it is mayhem when they do that kind of thing...

Hej Supersympa,

Oh, how I wish I could get over to Göteborg on that day!! I hate how crazy expensive Lego is at BR Leksaker, thankfully I have Webhallen close to me and pixmania often have some pretty sweet deals.

About $70USD for the Sweeds at current exchange rates on that set (Normally about $95).

Swedish user here. I usually get my Swedish shopping news at Swebrick, but the fact that I hadn't seen anything about this particular offer tells me that there's probably room for swedish shopping news here on Brickset too.

There are two problems with finding good Lego deals in Sweden: First, the RRPs are usually crazy compared with other countries, so the cheapest option is often Amazon from the UK (with free shipping above £25) or from another European country. Second, many of the retailers are local/regional and even the ones that aren't may have different offers at different branches.

It is very nice to hear a news from Scandinavia. Greeting form Norway!

@Formentar
That is so true about the good Lego deals, however there are some good places I've found.

Here are places I usually shop at.
Webhallen: online and shops (nearly always the cheapest)
Pixmania: online (cheaper for some of the larger sets)
ebrix.se: online (occasional cheaper items)
hiko.se: online, or pickup in Jönköping (some very cheap items compared to Swedish RRP)

One of the best places to visit is the large CO-OP stores, they nearly always have some older sets at crazy discounts. For example I once spent around 1000sek for around 4000sek (RRP) of sets!

I was wondering if there are people here who might want to meet up to discuss Lego etc. I'm in Stockholm, but would travel if needed :)
