Off to amazon I go - Thanks!

Want x 9! They will all eventually go on sale (especially when Christmas time rolls around) so I can wait until then.

Nice! Picking these up.

Of course Toys R' US is selling every one of these with a bump in the price between 10 and 25%. Not even the BOGO50% would be worth it.

LEGO Star Wars Desert Skiff (9496) Our Price: $29.99
LEGO Star Wars Republic Striker-Class Starfighter (9497) Our Price: $49.99
LEGO Star Wars Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter (9498) Our Price: $34.99
LEGO Star Wars Jabba's Palace (9516) Our Price: $149.99
LEGO Star Wars Twin-Pod Cloud Car and Bespin (9678) Our Price: $11.99
LEGO Star Wars AT-ST and Endor (9679) Our Price: $11.99
LEGO Star Wars Sith Fury-Class Interceptor (9500) Our Price: $109.99

they have been in ireland for a few weeks now

Posted by TheLEGOmaniac in Denmark, 06 Jul 2012 16:46

Good for the U.S.... but where the heck are the Monster Fighters and LotR sets here in Denmark? We have had the SW sets for a month, but still no sign of those two new themes.

Posted by shizzuh in United States, 06 Jul 2012 16:48

I agree krlex, the price increase for Toys R Us just is not worth it. As an Amazon Prime member I was able to get Jabba's Palace with overnight shipping for only $129.

I would recommend waiting until Target has then as you can use red card for an additional 5% off, but when you consider that Amazon does not charge tax, it's actually still about 2% cheaper to order off Amazon.

Posted by Rolyat24 in United States, 06 Jul 2012 17:22

Amazon now also has the summer Ninjago sets!

Posted by Thebricksaber501 in United States, 06 Jul 2012 17:42

awesome im gonna buy some soon0

Posted by zjygkmatt in United States, 06 Jul 2012 17:49

All this time I assumed the Jabbas Palace was going to be $150 regularly everywhere. Now I am a bit happier.

Posted by Isabella and Lego Liker in United States, 06 Jul 2012 17:53

Yeah, $120 sounds fair. Hopefully the Garage will be $100 and the Hospital $50.

Posted by BlueTaco in United States, 06 Jul 2012 18:51

Walmart is listing the new Star Wars sets and also the new hospital ($59.97) and the Spiderman set ($29.97)!

Posted by Legolover9531 in United States, 06 Jul 2012 19:04

I ordered the Skiff, Gungan Sub, and Jabba's Palace from Amazon a hour ago. Now that the Spider-Man set is out, I'll order that when my mom is home :P

Posted by The_Mack in United States, 06 Jul 2012 19:14

FYI...If you live in Texas... Amazon has started collecting Tax on July 1st.

Posted by Okay in United States, 06 Jul 2012 20:34

Great news! However, the Spiderman set seems to be out of stock. Will have to keep my eye on this one!

Posted by Legolover9531 in United States, 06 Jul 2012 21:32

I ordered the Spidey set in time thankfully. I'm hoping I get the SW sets before I go on vacation Friday (I sent the Spiderman set to the store so I know I'll get it after I'm back)

Posted by llanowarsoldier in United States, 07 Jul 2012 00:10

I don't like the fact that there are 2 $119.99 sets. The Malevolence is worth the price but with Jabba's Palace being only 717 pieces, that is a bit to swallow.

Posted by psychopuppet in United States, 07 Jul 2012 08:19

I missed the Spiderman set at Walmart. I see it says "only at Walmart" . So that means it's exclusive to them and Lego shop online in the US? I'm in the Walmart 3 minutes away almost everyday so at least I know to keep a eye out if I can't get it online. I'm going to have to wait on the Star Wars sets however. Not enough hobby money right now.

Posted by spency13 in United States, 07 Jul 2012 09:58

anyone have a particular place where these SW sets have been spotted?

Posted by Legolover9531 in United States, 07 Jul 2012 10:33

spency13, right now they're only available through Amazon at the normal RSP. They're out at Toys R Us, but I don't recommend buying them there as they're marked up.

Posted by Axl in Switzerland, 07 Jul 2012 12:10

I think it's an excellent value for money compared to the prices in switzerland... Why do I have to pay $200 for Jabba's Palace??? or $104 for the gungan sub? :-(

Posted by davefaust78 in United States, 07 Jul 2012 14:06

Does anyone know if these sets hit the Lego Stores in the US yet? I know the Lego site for the US doesn't list them as available yet.

Posted by Legolover9531 in United States, 07 Jul 2012 15:24

@davefaust78, they're only available at Amazon and TRU now.

Posted by Okay in United States, 07 Jul 2012 16:05

Walmart.com has the SW sets too, and they're in stock, unlike the Spidey set.

Posted by The Reviewer in United States, 07 Jul 2012 18:13

Man, I can't wait to get these.

Posted by StarWarrior89 in United States, 07 Jul 2012 19:36

There is not one single Toys "R" Us in the state that I live in that has ANY of the Star Wars sets!!!

Posted by Legolover9531 in United States, 07 Jul 2012 19:56

@StarWarrior89, right now they're only online at Amazon, Walmart, or Toyrs R Us.

Posted by arctrooper170 in United States, 07 Jul 2012 22:38

Wal-mart had all in stock except 9496, but I substituted for the exclusive 9525 Mandalorian Fighter. I would recommend buying all you can off Amazon because I did not get charged tax but they dont have 9496 or 9498. Buying from Wal-mart is good too because all the new sets have 97 cent shipping. TRU's prices are outrageous so I wouldn't go there and besides they really aren't available just yet. Hope I helped.

Posted by sudorum in United States, 08 Jul 2012 14:56

Jabba's Palace is ridiculously overpriced. I literally thought it was a typo when I saw the cost.

Posted by Zacherano in United States, 08 Jul 2012 15:37

It's great that they're here now. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't have the Desert Skiff except for some insane seller pricing it at $70 ($45 above MSRP).

Posted by Wolffe in United States, 08 Jul 2012 22:15

None of the ToysRUs' have these sets in the Midwest just letting ppl know

Posted by StarWarrior89 in United States, 08 Jul 2012 22:59

@Legolover9531, Ya, thanks. That REALLY helped me out!

Posted by budkin in United States, 11 Jul 2012 17:30

Jabba's palace is laughably overpriced. WTF Lego?
