    We've been getting sporadic reports that the Team GB Collectable Minifigs have been popping up in some retailers in Ireland ...

    • duq reports spotting them in an Art and Hobby store in Dublin
    • LukeSkywalker spotted them on the Argos.ie website, but they aren't available to buy yet
    • rumors that they will soon be available from Toymaster stores in the republic ...

They're available to order from Lego's shop@home too from Ireland. I was talking to someone in my local Arts and Hobby and they got an email about receiving Team GB in store soon, and they received the display stand already...

I emailed Smyths and was told by customer services that they will NOT be on sale in the ROI. They currently appear on Argos.ie with a catalogue number, but when you click through for more information you are met with a 404 type error message.

I don't live in Ireland but if you guys have a sainsburys supermarket, it might be worth having a look because they have them in the uk sainsburys

I knew this earlier. Madaboutlego, who has a brickset account, has done a stop motion build of the figs. And he also lives in Ireland

Yes have a full set, but could not wait for the shops here to get them and wanted them early so there is only one place to go....ebay!
Have only seen them since in TRU in Lisburn, but none this side of the boarder yet.

They're showing up properly on argos.ie now, and for €0.00!! ;) I emailed argos to enquire about their availability and they replied saying that they're not currently available here, but that I should check the new catalogue when it comes out on the 21st. There's still hope! :)

I ordered my 9 from shop at home Ireland site and they are coming tomorrow, happy we are included in this offering :) hope they are all different.

It's looking likely that these will be available in Smyths Ireland soon, they're showing up on the website now for €2.49. They're coming up as out of stock at the moment but I think it's only a matter of time before they're on the shelves. :)
