If it's $90 at Tru, hopefully it will be $70 MSRP

Posted by Modok in United States, 16 Jul 2012 17:32

^ But I believe it's a TRU exclusive, so it wouldn't be available anywhere else. I guess the only possible good news is that if you don't mind waiting, TRU sometimes has sales on certain Star Wars sets, including its own exclusives. I know the TRU exclusive Echo Base was on sale recently.

Posted by psychopuppet in United States, 16 Jul 2012 17:36

TRU has all the Lego sets on "sale" right now so the prices are reflecting their "sale" prices. Which are MSRP prices right now. Next week 9526 will more then likely be back at their price of $109.99. I was just in my local Walmart today no sign of 9525 here. Going to be downstate tomorrow that store seems to get stuff in first so check then.

Posted by Sonic_Raptor in United States, 16 Jul 2012 17:39

I thought the exclusives were still sold at TLS... Well, that is how it is here in Central Florida anyways. Also, keep in mind that Bricktober is coming up and TRU runs some good deals then... With their markup, the deal isn't great, but can land you a mini set or an exclusive minifigure for free.

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 17:48

@modok, 9526 is a toys r us exclusive, 9525 is a walmart exculsive and the rest of the sets are more expenive at toys r us.

Desert Skiff $29.99
Republic Striker Starfighter $49.99
Saesee Tiin's Starfighter $34.99
Gungan Sub $ 79.99
Sith Fury Class Interceptor $ 109.99
The Malevolence $149.99
Jabba's Palace $149.99
Palpatines Arrest$109.99
Pre Viszla's Mandolorian Starfighter $49.99 at walmart

And thank you Matthew for posting my comment!!!!!

I live in Southern California and I went to my local TRU a few a hours ago and they didn't have ANY of the new Star wars sets. But it's good to know that the Palpatine's arrest isn't that expensive.

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 18:03

I live in northern california @the reviewer and they have all of them

Posted by psychopuppet in United States, 16 Jul 2012 18:06

Just checked the US Lego Shop online to see if any of these had popped up with a date yet. They have 9515 The Malevolence™ listed now with Coming Soon on 23 Jul 2012. Spider-man set is also up with that date.

Posted by StarWarrior89 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 18:45

Not in my area yet!!!!!!!!! I WANT JABBA"S PALACE AND Palpatine's Arrest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by legoDad42 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 18:49

I saw only the Thor polybag (w/cosmic cube) and some of the newer Hero Factory (the one's that say not released yet in the database) at the Rego Mall TRU in Queens.

Posted by The Reviewer in United States, 16 Jul 2012 18:55

^^^^@starwascollector98 Man your lucky! well maybe they will ship them to SoCal soon, hopefully.

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 19:02

@the reviewer yeah maybe in a couple of days or weeks but sadly i wasn't able to buy any maybe tomorrow.

Posted by Legolover9531 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 19:20

Great news, but I'm saving Palpatine's Arrest for Christmas as I just spent a bunch of the Skiff, Sub, and Palace.

Posted by Malaks Rage in United States, 16 Jul 2012 19:33

It seems that Target is doing a lego reset here in SW Florida. The sales person there said it was going to be July 29th before they are in, but alot of the 2010 sets are clearenced out. Bought 2 yesterday at almost half price! Can't beat that. I'll just wait til then, I can't spend that much on Jabba's Palace.

Posted by Isabella and Lego Liker in United States, 16 Jul 2012 19:40

Maybe by then, my Target will have the summer sets in.

Posted by Malaks Rage in United States, 16 Jul 2012 19:44

@ Isabella
They have awesome sales on old sets. Check for them before they're all gone! :)

Posted by murphquake in United States, 16 Jul 2012 19:45

Be happy you're not in NYC... found 6 new SW sets at TRU in Queens, (Rego Park if you're trying to follow)
9496 skiff $34.99
9497 republic sf 57.99
9498 saesee tiin sf $40.99
9499 gungan sub 92.99
9678 bespin twin pod cloud car & lobot 13.99
9679 endor at-st & at-st driver 13.99

Annoyed I let the schmuck that works there refuse to go look for 9677 so I could complete my galaxy for now. Also had the Thor Cosmic Cube poly for ONLY $5.99

Guess the Bricktober black ninja magnet for a penny helped... and the free ninjago polys

Posted by Okay in United States, 16 Jul 2012 20:13

I live in California too, and I checked my TRU here in Fullerton, but no sign of any summer sets, not even Friends.

Posted by osuharding1 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 20:21

No new stuff at my TRU in Pittsburgh, PA

Posted by Thecoolestgriffin in United States, 16 Jul 2012 20:25

I have not seen any yet.

Posted by The_Box in United States, 16 Jul 2012 20:42

My TRU in central New Jersey has the new summer Star Wars sets. My store had everything from this wave on the sales floor except for Jabba's Palace and the Malevolence, which could have just been in the back of the store.
They must have put out the wrong price tag in that TRU in California (referring to the actual news post) for Palpatine's Arrest because their website has it posted for $109.99 and that's what my store has it for, at least when I bought said set on Saturday and checked back in the Lego aisle on Sunday. Fortunately for me, I paid less than $85 for Palpatine's Arrest, including tax, thanks to coupons, discounts and such.

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 20:52

@the-box the price tag was not wrong it was discounted for 89.99 then it will go back to 109

Posted by dhansen22 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 21:19

No luck in Mississippi. No new sets but did see large sale.

Posted by Darth Nader in United States, 16 Jul 2012 21:47

Did they raise the price of Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter by ten dollars? Because it seems like it.

Posted by Redbricker in United States, 16 Jul 2012 22:43

Nothing in the Georgia at my TRU.

Posted by legoDad42 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 22:56

@murphquake...Good lookin' out. I was there with my kid today and completely missed the new sets. Things are so all over the place there it all looks like a pile to me...;) I did pick up Thor's polybag though and I keep walking by those friggin' dagnabbit Prince of Persia sets way above retail...still collecting dust. This is about 2 years or so on the shelf in the same dang spot. Also nice to see the Batcave for $103 dollars there....oy vey.

Posted by krklint in United States, 16 Jul 2012 23:02

In Miami, Fl, I picked up the Desert Skiff (1 of 2 on the shelf) at a Target store on Thursday, July 12th. This is the only summer SW set I've seen. I paid $24.99 for the set. I have not been to TRU for so long, I've almost forgotten how overpriced they are.

Posted by copperwonder96 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 23:14

I am a big time collector but I just can't afford the star wars sets anymore. I wait for clearance now and an Amazon deal befor I bite. It is really frustrating to see such high prices. Love the mini figs But I just can't keep up!

Posted by joehead10 in United States, 16 Jul 2012 23:15

All the sets minus Jabba's Palace and the Malevolence were in the KC Metro North TRU on Friday. No sign of them yet at the Lego Store that opened up this summer. Lego said they wouldn't have them until the end of the month. The TRY also had the Thor polybag and the new Friends Summer Sets including some polybags.

Posted by LegoKitfisto15 in United States, 17 Jul 2012 00:22

@TheReviewer: I also live in Southern California and there are none at my local TRU but I checked and they have them all at another one that is 40 minutes away from me. They will definitely be showing up in greater numbers in the coming days. :)

Posted by johntcondon in United States, 17 Jul 2012 00:56

As of today, nothing at TRU in Salem, OR yet.

Posted by ETAV8R in United States, 17 Jul 2012 02:09

I rarely go to TRU anymore. Their tax isn't worth it. A family member has a Target discount that is pretty damn good so they get all my money. I couldn't wait for the skiff and when I saw it on Amazon I jumped on it. The set is awesome and I may try to integrate it with the baseplate for the PQ Pyramid.

Posted by Frederick B. in Norway, 17 Jul 2012 06:33

We got all the star wars summer sets over a month ago in Norway but i havent seen palpatines arrest or pvms yet at my local tru in gjøvik

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 17 Jul 2012 07:37

Good to know our friends across the pond are getting these sets!
Legoland Windsor also have the summer SW sets in, including Pre-Vizla's Mandalorian Starfighter and Palpatine's Arrest, they also had the new Monster Fighters sets and new NinjaGo spinners.

Posted by mysteriouspi in United States, 17 Jul 2012 09:05

I would be delighted to find the Star Wars sets in stores already.
Then again, with those kinds of mark-ups, I think I'll just wait for the online release.

Posted by spency13 in United States, 17 Jul 2012 10:03

I haven't seen them here in Virginia....

Posted by Wolffe in United States, 17 Jul 2012 10:09

I found the desert skiff at my tru in chicago

Posted by legomatt3 in United States, 17 Jul 2012 11:26

legodad42 just wondering if there were any way i could talk you into getting me a thor poly bag? we could work out the details through email.

Posted by byobu in United States, 17 Jul 2012 13:24

No summer sets yet @ TRU or Walmart in Los Angeles, i.e. Glendale, Burbank, Santa Clarita areas.

Posted by Matthew in United Kingdom, 17 Jul 2012 15:38

Just a reminder to please keep on topic here guys - "Look at this cususoo project it's cool" does not count as on topic, and will be deleted.

Posted by Margot in United States, 17 Jul 2012 19:35

Saw several new sets at TRU today. The prices are not discounted like they are online but they will honor the online prices if you bring it up. Jabba's Palace wasn't in yet but probably will be soon. They didn't have Palpatine's arrest either which I really want.
They did have the Thor polybag. I suspect there will be lots of those like the Batman ones that are still around so Legomatt3 just keep checking back.

Posted by Legoguy29 in United States, 17 Jul 2012 23:17

No luck in Northern California(Santa Rosa)... :( bummer.

Posted by bionicle212 in United States, 18 Jul 2012 00:39

The malevolence and the ucs b-wing are on Lego.com. for u.s.

Posted by Margot in United States, 18 Jul 2012 10:47

Jabba's Palace is at Amazon regular price now. $119.

Posted by Legonat in United States, 18 Jul 2012 12:47

That is way too expensive.... :O It should be $49.99.

Posted by ShatteredGnome in United States, 18 Jul 2012 17:42

As ^^^ pointed out, LEGO.com has the UCS B-wing listed for $199.99 with an October release date, and the Malevolence (with standard price of $119.99) for release on July 23. Hopefully this means all the new SW will be added before or on the 23rd for purchase.

I'd love it if they had these sets in store next week as I'm going on vacation where there's a few LEGO stores...

Posted by malachirobertson in United States, 18 Jul 2012 18:52

I saw the Skiff and Jabba's Palace at a Mishawaka, IN Super Target today.

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 19 Jul 2012 00:45

HAHA Finally got the Gungan Sub and Desert Skiff today along with the thor polybag which doesn't seem to be that popular at my tru. I live in Sacramento and they had all the summer sets there.

Posted by schvatts in United States, 19 Jul 2012 03:36

They are in the Phoenix area as well.

Posted by Isabella and Lego Liker in United States, 19 Jul 2012 18:32

The garage is now at TRU...... but for $120 (yikes!)

Posted by DinkoH in Croatia, 19 Jul 2012 19:42

They have all the summer star wars sets in tru in graz, Austria.
Including palpatines arrest (90 euros) and mandalorian starfighter (40 euros).

Posted by AlphaYoder in United States, 20 Jul 2012 12:10

They have all the sets in the TRU in Pensacola, FL. Obviously all are over priced by $5-$20

Posted by TheMinifigFreak in United States, 20 Jul 2012 14:42

TRU has dropped all there legos down to normal prices currently! Hope this is permanent!

Posted by dhansen22 in United States, 20 Jul 2012 17:14

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 20 Jul 2012 17:25

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 20 Jul 2012 17:25

@dhansen22 they have had them posted on the usa website for about a week now

Posted by dhansen22 in United States, 20 Jul 2012 17:38

Well the past week I have been looking and you couldn't order the set. Today was the first day I noticed you could order it. That's what I was pointing out.

Posted by thebearcollector in United States, 20 Jul 2012 19:48

I just went to a wal-mart in Scottsdale AZ no 2012 summer sets but I did pick up 2 series 7 minfigs and 1 endor battle pack

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 20 Jul 2012 20:53

@thebearcollector: You're better off waiting until Monday. Lego store should have them. They can hold items for you as well, just call when they open at 10am.

Posted by leg0padawan in United States, 21 Jul 2012 00:26

Nothing here yet in Allentown, PA, but I did score two Desert Skiff sets for $24.99 each from ToysRUs on eBay.

Posted by StarWarrior89 in United States, 21 Jul 2012 13:49

I just got the desert skiff, Palpatines arrest and Jabba's Palace!!! I LOVE these sets!!! These are AWESOME sets, especially Jabba's Palace, with all the new mini figures, like Jabba him self!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by malachirobertson in United States, 22 Jul 2012 09:45

Went back to the Super Target in Mishawaka, IN on Friday and the Skiff and Palace, including the shelf labels, were gone. Perhaps a stocker jumped the gun?

Posted by starwarscollector98 in United States, 22 Jul 2012 16:20

Got Desert Skiff, Gungan Sub and Palpatine's Arrest along with the thor ploybag and my tru in Citrus Heights CA

Posted by malachirobertson in United States, 25 Jul 2012 23:16

The Skiff and Jabba's Palace have reappeared at the Super Target in Mishawaka, IN. Things are so cramped on the shelves that the Skiff boxes had to be placed sideways.
