We've been rather spoiled for 20% discounts and 3-for-2 offers in the UK lately.

However, if you've missed out on previous opportunities or still have things on your wish list, you can take advantage of 20% discount at Smyths Toys this weekend, in-store and online. What's more, shipping is free on orders over £40.

Having had a look round their LEGO offering it seems as if quite a few sets are reduced already. For example the Dino Defence HQ is just £66.49 instead of £75, so with 20% off that takes it to £53.19, which is a c.30% discount. Sadly, it's not in stock online :-(

Thanks for the heads up on this also!

Just about every Friends set and most of the the big sets are out of stock online, for UK delivery. :(

Although it all seems to be in stock at my nearest shop in the outskirts of Sheffield.
It is a shame I can't get to it.

However I am also waiting to be paid so I can't buy anything anyway. :) :) :)

I guess I'll wait for the ARGOS 3 for 2 or the LEGO double VIP points.

why can't we get more deals like this in the U.S.?

Shame everything I've looked at seems to be out of stock :(

Legonizer:

Fred Meyer in the US frequently has good deals. Unfortunately, I don't believe they are every where in the US. In fact, I was there the other day and they had something like buy 1 get 1 half off on Star Wars and Super Hero sets.

Hate to be negative - but everything I tried to order was either out of stock, unavailable for home delivery or not delivered in my area yet...

Frustrating.

I went to store and got 2 Star Wars calendars, a monster fighter mad professor 9466 set which was already down from 39.99 to 32.99 and a city forest police set 4440 which was already reduced from 57.99 to 39.99 the 20% off it all. Made out nicely and part of Xmas all sorted out! Come on Argos and Boots, your turn next!!!

I picked up the Desert Skiff for about £16 yesterday. It was already reduced to £19.99 from £24.99, and then the further 20% on top of that!

Really confused by their lack of home delivery... Aberdeen etc and Inverness etc aren't really the back of beyond now are they!!! Surely if everyone else can deliver here so can they! Poor show!!

Also anything i want is out of stock!!!

Ordered the Vampyre Castle this morning and with the 20% off the reduced price got it for £60 - 25% off the RRP - and no problems with the online order. My lad will be happy at Xmas, thanks for the heads up.
