Why does the promotion take place between two such strange dates? Begins on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday. Still, good bargains to be had.

the promotions always seem to start on thursdays and end on wednesdays. this is probably because thursday and friday are late night shopping days

Yes, I'm sure you're right, Johnnus.

K-Mart, Big W and Targets catalogues all start on Thursday to take advantage of late night trading and weekend sales, and normally conclude the following wednesday ready for the next catalogue to begin on the thursday again. On a side note, it might be a good chance to pick up a Brickbeards Bounty cheaper if they have any left from their last big toy sale. That was the only pirate item left at most of the stores in my area after those sales concluded...

Cool! Brickset is getting more and more news from down-under!

P.S. I noticed you added a "Random BrickList" feature! Can't wait to see my BrickLists there...

Pirates seemed to clean out rather quickly from the bigger stores. I still have 4 Pirate sets on raincheck here in Rockingham, WA.
