Thanks for the info Brickapolis!

The Christmas themed sets (all of them) are already at LEGO Stores, but the mini TIE Fighter is something that I don't own and want!

I thought impulse sets were $3.49; $4.99 are small sets. Still, I prefer TRU to Target, although Target has better prices.

You know I was at TRU yesturday (in Canada), and they had 30008 and 30009 christmas sets for sale at $5 each. You also can get a Free Santa Claus minifig key chain; if you spend $50 or more one City/creator Lego (a lot of which was at 20% discount as well).

The Easter and Halloween impulse sets were 3.99 at Target, so I'd expect these to be the same. I wouldn't be surprised if TRU marked that up another buck.

I'll be on the lookout for the TIE Fighter. Hopefully they do this with some of those Daily Mirror specials, too.

Excellent use of the Bricklist, btw.

Are they in the "seasonal" section like the Easter/Halloween impulse sets?

The 30008 Snowman and 30009 Christmas Tree impulse sets are available in US Toys'R'Us stores at $3.49 each.
I have not seen the Ornament sets yet.

Looks like I need to visit my local Target stores soon. :)

MasterOfPuzzles-yeah, usually, probably near the leftover Halloween candy.

Target also has several poly-bag Racers sets for $2.99 in the seasonal section

Posted by thebrickdaddy in United States, 06 Nov 2009 21:36

I went to target today (I live in Detroit) and there were no polybags to be found, seasonal or lego section. :(

Posted by samuraiturtle in United States, 06 Nov 2009 22:32

I was at the Fort Wayne Toy'R'Us and the only poly-bag sets I seen their are the Snowman and X-mas Tree. Plus the Target next to Toy'R'Us, I only seen two racer sets in poly-bags a red car and a black car. The racers stes cost $3 and the sets at Toy'R'Us cost $3.50.

None at our Target either Racers or Star Wars. They still seemed to be setting up with Christmas seasonal stuff though so maybe next time... I did see the snowman and x-mas tree at TRU though, cheaper than I already bought them at the Lego store.

I checked target and they did not have any impulse sets.
Their X-mas section has barely even started to get set up.
I'll check again soon,

Targets by me have the 3 Star Wars and 2 Racers sets (7801 and 7802). The Racers are $2.99 and look to be useful parts packs as well as pretty good little cars.

I checked three local targets and still no luck.

8031 and 40000-40002 are also at my LEGO store (Valley Fair). They could be at others as well............
